This was my first time staying at this type of Hotel. The Room size was more than adequate. I had no particular complaints about the Facility. I like to relax by soaking in the bathtub, and the tub was large enough to stretch out, which was great. If I had to mention one thing, the toilet exhaust fan is noisy, so I think replacing it would leave a better impression. Also, it seems I could have bought drinks by asking at the front desk, but having a vending machine would be more convenient. In this area, there aren’t many Hotels at a price that matches the demand for simply staying cheaply, so I would like to use it again.

From the kind guidance before our stay to the Room layout, Facility, and amenities, we felt thoughtful care in every detail and enjoyed a warm, happy time. We are simply grateful to the wonderful staff. Also, when you stay here, don’t forget to bring your pajamas!

Although this was a No Meals Included stay, you can enjoy coffee and other drinks in the lobby in the evening/night and in the morning. It’s a good idea to buy food and other items in advance at a nearby convenience store. The coffee is incredibly delicious! I later realized you can also buy the beans (I think you need to ask the day before). The Onsen has only an indoor bath, but the water itself was excellent. Rather than just staying overnight in winter, I’d like to come back and relax in the Onsen. Amenities do not include bath towels, so be sure not to forget to bring your own.

The Room is clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bathroom is also larger than those in typical homes, and the body shower warms you up even without using the bathtub. Check-in and check-out may be unattended, and for a Multiple Night Stay you indicate whether Room cleaning is needed by placing a magnet on the door; these labor-saving measures are actually hassle-free and I appreciate them. Breakfast is available at the Hotel, but you may be better off using nearby restaurants. There is also a large supermarket and home improvement store nearby, making it convenient to buy daily necessities.

This was my first stay here. At check-in, the owner kindly explained the area using a map, covering dining options, Onsen facilities, and everything from convenience stores to drugstores. The Facility is old, but it is well cleaned, and the bath with free-flowing natural hot spring water was great. The Room had new tatami mats, and the futon bedding was clean and comfortable. I would love to stay here again when I visit Kusatsu Onsen.

I especially enjoyed chatting with the front desk staff, and it was a cozy, hidden-gem Accommodation where I felt very comfortable. I also had some of the bread on the second floor, and it was delicious. It was very helpful that they could store my luggage even after check-out. When I visit Ise again, I would definitely like to stay here!

We stayed at this Accommodation again around the same time as last year with the same group (3 people). We were given a spacious Room with two connected rooms, which was great. The air conditioning worked throughout the building, and everything was thoroughly cleaned, making our stay very comfortable. The only minor concern—something we noticed last time as well—was that the toilet paper tears very easily, which was a bit stressful. Thank you very much.

The views were great, the room was clean, and the Facilities were well equipped—overall, it was excellent. The village chief’s hospitality was also wonderful. It was a shame that Mt. Fuji was hidden, but we would love to stay again.

This time, I met a friend in Tsuruhashi, but recently, Hotel prices have become too high, making it difficult for Japanese people to find places to stay in their own country. Tears... However, I discovered a great hostel in Imazato. I think it was 5,500 yen for a twin single-use room. It takes about 8 minutes from the station to arrive. It feels a bit small, but the owner's attention to detail makes it surprisingly great! Considering the price, it's really good. The room is also kept clean, and I will definitely stay here again next time.

Located in a residential area, it was very quiet.

I was very satisfied to be able to stay in a room with a private bath and toilet at this price. The toilet and bathtub are small and not the most comfortable to use, but considering the price, I’m satisfied. The Room is spacious enough. Personally, I really liked the feel of the duvet.

I stayed here the day before the Yamanakako Marathon. I had a comfortable stay, and the bath was especially nice. Next year, I’d like to book a Multiple Night Stay.

The exterior is a two-story house, while the interior features a rescue cat shelter and accommodation with a warehouse-style design. Staff are always on-site to care for the cats. The accommodation feels like an added bonus. It is in a condominium style, fully equipped with a kitchen, refrigerator, tableware, and detergent. Water in the refrigerator is free of charge. Alcoholic beverages are also available at very affordable supermarket-level prices. Guests can cook if they bring their own ingredients. The TV allows access to YouTube and other streaming services. The bathroom does not have reheating functionality, and there is a strong odor from the drainpipe. The sauna outside was not used during our stay. The toilet is clean, and the washroom offers hotel-quality amenities. Original pajamas (top and bottom) are provided for each guest. For multiple night stays, linen changes are available upon request. The shelter area connects via an enclosed corridor with double locks; it can be accessed freely between 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Guests can assist with breakfast or dinner preparation for the cats if desired; however, as nearly 60 cats live together in one room, there is quite a strong smell present throughout that area. If doors to the accommodation section are left open, odors may spread into that space as well. While functional as a shelter facility for rescued cats, it cannot be described as entirely hygienic—cleaning of litter boxes appears infrequent. Please note this location operates differently from "cat cafes," so expectations should align accordingly. In conclusion: unless you absolutely adore cats beyond measure—this experience might not suit everyone’s preferences! However passionate feline enthusiasts will likely find themselves returning repeatedly despite challenges faced amidst what could only humorously yet aptly described perhaps akin-to-a-cat-heaven-or-chaos scenario!

The facility operates mostly unmanned, which might feel a bit impersonal at first, but detailed instructions are provided via email in advance. The facility is fully equipped with everything you need. The private space was more spacious than expected, offering a comfortable stay. Public transportation and commercial facilities are conveniently nearby, so there’s no inconvenience. If anything, the lack of an elevator could be challenging if you have heavy luggage. The cleanliness exceeded typical hostel standards, making for a pleasant and comfortable experience.

The building is a little hard to find, but the Room was new, spacious, clean, and very nice. I was able to relax comfortably on the living room sofa. It’s close to car rental shops and Kokusai-dori, and there’s also a convenience store nearby. One thing I noticed was that the floor—especially around the kitchen—was dirty with stains from spilled juice or water. However, the service was very polite, and I would like to stay here again when I visit Okinawa. Thank you very much.
