I used this accommodation for work and travel in Kyoto (with my family of four). Since accommodations in Kyoto city were expensive, we decided to stay here as we were traveling by car. It takes about 30-40 minutes from Kyoto city, and there is an onsen facility nearby, along with restaurants and supermarkets, which was convenient. The hotel facilities were clean, the room was spacious and comfortable. The parking lot was also large and convenient. Breakfast was great as well. I think I will choose this place again next time. Thank you very much!

The local dishes prepared by the dining hall hostess were delicious. Thanks to her, we had a wonderful time at breakfast.

It was my first time staying, and it was quiet with meals served in the Room, allowing for a relaxing experience. However, during my Multiple Night Stay, the service on the second day was not satisfactory, with insufficient replenishment of amenities. There were also times when no staff were available, which caused some concern. The semi-open-air bath was nice but not a free-flowing hot spring; it used a circulation system with low water volume and limited temperature control. Since there is no large public bath available, I think it would have been more enjoyable if the water level had been higher and at least partially free-flowing. It’s unfortunate because it’s such a great location where one can relax quietly.

Stayed at Excellent Golf Club in Isshi, Tsu City, Mie. This is our annual trip to Mie; this time our goals were golf, an Onsen stay, and buying eel and Matsusaka beef in central Tsu. The Room was upgraded for us and was spacious. The Onsen was especially amazing with its silky-smooth water quality; however, the entrance to the open-air bath area was slippery, so a handrail might be needed. There is also a sauna, and we were very satisfied. For dinner we chose the sukiyaki course, which was outstanding—high-quality meat in a generous portion and truly delicious. The staff were also friendly and wonderful. Breakfast was tasty, but it felt a bit light—probably because dinner set the bar so high (lol). It’s an Accommodation we’d like to stay at again in autumn along with another round of golf. A hidden-gem golf course and Hotel in Tsu City, Mie.

There are some things that make you think "a bit off" as mentioned in the reviews, but considering the cost performance and being able to stay with my beloved dog, I personally think this is the best accommodation! It’s definitely one of the accommodations I’d love to visit again.

I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. I have used Hotel Livemax at several other locations as well. I always feel that the amenities (for women) could be a bit more comprehensive. This time, breakfast included a bento box and tea. Although the contents were the same for both days, it was delicious. On the day of departure, I noticed my suitcase contents were wet and looked up to find water leaking from the ceiling. Fortunately, it wasn’t severe, but it was quite surprising.

We stayed here during Obon while visiting family graves in Kunisaki. Thanks to the dog shower room, our dog could play to the fullest at the walkable sandy beach and the spacious dog run. Since we were arriving late this time, we didn’t have dinner, but it was very helpful at breakfast that dogs are welcome in the restaurant and there are free-to-use carts (for large dogs). Next time, we’ll definitely enjoy the luxurious dinner! It was a wonderful trip. Thank you very much.

Thank you for taking care of us for two nights and three days. We were very satisfied with the bath and the meals. Also, the stargazing was amazing—we were moved to see a sky full of stars that you can’t see in the city. If we had to mention one thing, it was quite hot, so we would have liked air conditioning. A blower and a fan were not enough. Also, the filter on the back of the blower was clogged with dust, so we cleaned it. Aside from these two points, it was a satisfying Hotel. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

This was my first stay, and the service was excellent. The hospitality was truly impressive. It’s a Hotel I’d like to stay at again. I stayed in a suite Room this time, but I felt the amenities were a bit lacking. It would be helpful if items like lotion were provided in the Room. The shower was slightly difficult to use, and the shape of the bathtub forces you into a reclining position, so you need to be cautious (laughs). However, the Room itself was lovely. The view was beautiful, and both the bed and pillows were comfortable. Room service was great as well. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! I even thought about coming back just for breakfast alone!

Our group was 7 people (two families, including our grandchild) with four dogs. The only disappointing points about the amenities were that the bath towels smelled a little, and there were no skincare items such as lotion—so I’m glad we brought our own. However, there was plenty of information available on the TV, and among all the dog-friendly hotels we’ve stayed at, this was the best. The meals, Onsen, and activities were all available inside the Hotel, so we never got bored and had a very fulfilling stay—we were extremely satisfied. One night wasn’t enough, so next time we plan to stay for two nights. We were also very happy to have a buffet where we could dine with our dogs in a calm setting. I hope more Hotels like this will open in the future.

The best part was having free all-you-can-drink alcohol and other beverages available right in front of the reception after a long drive. The dinner buffet didn’t have an extensive variety, but it was satisfying, and here too, there was unlimited alcohol. The bath left my skin feeling smooth—such a great experience! Although the staff were foreigners, they were well-trained and very polite. If I had to mention one downside, it would be the weak Wi-Fi connection. Other than that, I was satisfied and would love to stay again!

This is my third stay here. The price was reasonable, and the Onsen was great. I will stay again.

I stayed for one night because a family member was being discharged early in the morning. It’s very convenient since it’s close to both the station and the hospital. I booked a non-smoking Room, and I wasn’t thrilled to learn there was a smoking area on the floor, but thankfully there was no cigarette smell. The unit bath was fairly spacious, and I also liked that the sink area was separate. However, due to my misunderstanding, I thought Kikonai also charged an Accommodation Tax, so I asked a male staff member at the front desk what the difference is between places that charge it and places that don’t. His response was basically “Why are you asking me?” When I looked into it more closely, it seems all of Hokkaido may be subject to an Accommodation Tax. I’ll check later, but since it’s a Hotel-related question, I would have appreciated an answer (sorry for my ignorance). Also, I wasn’t told that there were no amenities in the Room and that I needed to pick them up at the front desk. It was a hassle to go get them, but since I had stayed at a friend’s place until the day before and still had some with me, I used those instead. I’m glad I kept them with me rather than packing them away. There were cars with license plates from many different areas around Hokkaido, but the Hotel itself was quiet and nice. There are convenience stores and izakaya nearby as well, so it didn’t feel inconvenient. If I go to Kikonai again, I’d like to stay here again. One thing I found strange is why staying on Monday costs more than staying on Sunday. (Sorry again for my lack of knowledge.) Most other places are cheaper on weekdays—just something I wondered about.

The bathroom is spacious and even includes a washing area, but the chair was too small, which was uncomfortable for someone like me with back pain. A slightly larger chair would have been perfect... Otherwise, everything was satisfactory.

It was very convenient and close to the station. There is parking next to the Hotel, and there are also several coin-operated parking lots nearby, which was helpful since we came by car. The Room was cold, and it was disappointing that we couldn’t adjust the temperature in each Room. Also, voices from people walking down the hallway late at night were quite loud and could be heard clearly. Whenever I had questions or requests at the front desk, they kindly helped me each time. If I visit Inuyama again, I would like to stay here again.

We stayed with our grandchildren and our dog with dinner included, and the Room was already set up with BBQ ingredients and a BBQ grill, so it was very easy to enjoy without bringing anything. We could start eating whenever we wanted. The meat and vegetables provided were all delicious, and the kids were thrilled. It had been raining until late afternoon, but it cleared up by BBQ time, and with the ocean right in front of us, the location was wonderful. The stars were beautiful at night. Breakfast was also great—the freshly baked bread was delicious. Our dog could go for walks anytime as well, making it a truly memorable stay. Thank you very much.

There are few Accommodations in Yokosuka City, and places near the station are often fully booked, so I always stay at this Hotel. It isn’t modern, but it’s well cleaned and perfectly fine for a business stay. However, the price could perhaps be a little lower.

You can use the Onsen attached to the cottage anytime. I soaked three times. The water had a faint, distinctive earthy and sulfur-like scent. It was great. The cottage is clean and spacious. I could really relax on my own. I wish there were cushions or a sofa in the tatami area. Watching TV while sitting on a chair made my neck hurt. Both the main building and the cottages have a handmade feel. It’s not overly polished—slightly mismatched and not perfect—which adds to its charm. Omi beef is definitely tastier than the meat I usually eat, but honestly it wasn’t beyond my expectations; it made me wonder if it’s always like this. Maybe it was tenderloin and some trimmings. Since the accommodation cost is reasonable, you probably shouldn’t expect top-tier meat quality. Overall, I think it’s a great place with lots of added value—an Onsen cottage, 200g Omi beef shabu-shabu, breakfast with homemade bread, and more. Because it’s surrounded by nature, there are insects. The morning alarm and notification sounds from an electronic pad were loud.
