We stayed one night with breakfast and dinner included as a family of three. The location is quiet, and the building and Room are clean and not particularly old. However, it seems the property was originally a retreat facility, so even though it’s called a Hotel, there is no shop or entertainment Facility. There are also no convenience stores or drugstores nearby. The meals were very delicious, but they were not buffet-style; they were served as a kaiseki course, with dishes brought out in order from appetizers to dessert. Meal times were fixed (breakfast at 7:30 and dinner at 18:30). Dinner in particular was quite early for us, and we couldn’t finish everything because we weren’t hungry enough yet. The person who seemed to be the chef looked Middle Eastern/Arab, but both the food and service were excellent. The bath water is natural Onsen water and was wonderful. The bathing area isn’t large, but even with six people using the washing area, the showers were manageable. As for the Room, if I had to mention something minor, one of the small light bulbs didn’t turn on. There is air conditioning (central), but even in August it was cool at night, so we could sleep with it off. Overall it was clean and a good stay, but not being able to choose meal times felt like having to fit the Hotel’s schedule. It seemed there were several groups staying there, but only one other group besides us had two meals included; most guests appeared to be No Meals Included. If you stay No Meals Included, note that most restaurants along the lakeside close by early evening. There are also cup noodles available in the vending machine on the first floor.

This is our third year in a row staying here! Camping in a camper van at this price is unbeatable value. I definitely recommend booking with both breakfast and dinner included! Unlimited fishing and sea activities, a BBQ with plenty of meat and vegetables, a complimentary Onsen voucher, campfires, and you can even see shooting stars at night! Breakfast changes every year—things like baked apples and hot sandwiches—so we never get bored and keep coming back. We went with three families, and the staff placed our camper vans close to each other, so we could all stay together and have a great time. Thank you very much! For the sea activities, we kept asking for kayaks and SUP one after another, but they kindly brought out all kinds of equipment without any hesitation—we really appreciated it. The life jacket rental was also very helpful. We enjoyed so many things this year, but it’s also absolutely worth staying here even if you do nothing but relax and watch the ocean. Watching the sunrise is great too! There are toilets and shower rooms, and hand soap is provided as well. I’m sure managing everything isn’t easy, but our kids always say “Summer means Nagasakibana!” so we look forward to coming again next year!

This was my first time using this service. The reception staff were kind and provided clear explanations. Although I believe the staff member was new, they were polite and courteous, making my stay pleasant. The Room was clean, and the breakfast was great. I would consider staying here again if I have the chance.

I was able to relax and rest well. The breakfast was delicious, and it even included sashimi.

We stayed in a cottage. For this price, the cottage stay with two meals and unlimited ice skating was great value and truly impressive. The Room was clean, and the bedding was very comfortable. The front desk staff had wonderful smiles and took great care of us from arrival to departure. The ladies at the dining area were all very warm, and we appreciated how kindly they spoke to our child. We would love to visit again during the ice-skating season. Thank you for your hospitality!

I stayed here for the first time the night before climbing Mt. Myogi. The Onsen was a cloudy bath, and it was my first time experiencing its iron-like scent. I only had breakfast, but the miso soup in particular was delicious. The staff were pleasant, and the Room was spacious and clean. The futon and pillows were fluffy, so I slept soundly—overall a very satisfying Accommodation.

Located right next to Yasaka Shrine with various shops nearby, not only is the Room clean, but the bath is great, and the floor heating is excellent! Everything is perfect! And yet, it's reasonably priced! If you're staying in Kyoto, this place is highly recommended!

The lobby was spacious, and the Hotel was very clean overall. It was a bit disappointing that amenities such as a body sponge and brush were not complimentary and cost 300 yen per set, and that I couldn’t find the hair dryer because it seemed to be in the closet. However, I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

Spacious room, thorough cleaning, delicious meals, and the staff maintained a good sense of distance, which I appreciated. I thought it would be nice if the room had a brighter (even with bright lighting) area. However, it was very difficult to get into the bathtub. I am 160 cm tall, which I think is average, but even so, I was afraid my feet might get caught. I only got used to it during my Multiple Night Stay. It might be impossible, but could you somehow make it easier to get in? That was the only disappointment.

We stayed at Waku, a place we had long wanted to visit. A luxurious private rental of an entire house. My spouse and I enjoyed a peaceful, quiet time. We were also deeply moved by the guest-only prayer service and temple viewing. The person who guided us was warm and attentive, which made our stay very comfortable. We also learned more about Mii-dera Temple, making it an unforgettable experience.

It was a wonderful Accommodation. The Room was spacious, and the open-air bath in the Room was large and continuously flowing, so I enjoyed it many times. There are two private indoor baths and one private open-air bath, so the bathing facilities are excellent. Dinner was served in the Room, everything was delicious, and I finished it all. Breakfast was served in a private dining room with partitions, and it was convenient to order refills of rice, miso soup, and tea via tablet. Breakfast was also very delicious. Having chawanmushi at breakfast made me very happy. I also appreciated that coffee after the meal could be brought to my Room. It stayed cool even in summer, and I was able to relax and fully enjoy both the Onsen and the meals at a leisurely pace. I would definitely like to visit again, and I look forward to staying with you then. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

I had such a wonderful stay that it made me want to leave a Review—even though I usually don’t write them. From the moment I stepped inside, I was surrounded by a subtle oriental fragrance, and the refined design still let me feel the history of Miyazu throughout the space. In the guest Room, instead of a TV or clock, there were items like an iron kettle, matcha bowls, and a bamboo whisk—so you can make tea yourself. I also loved seeing books on the display shelf that were clearly selected to suit Miyazu’s local character. In this quiet space, listening to the sound of water coming to a boil, I could lose track of time and truly tune in to my body and mind. Personally, my favorite feature was the loom in the lobby. The staff told me that “as each guest weaves a little at a time, it gradually becomes one piece of fabric.” They even let me pass the weft through twice—I can’t wait to see how it turns out! The contrast between the simple, sophisticated atmosphere and the warmth of the staff—who kindly shared so much about Miyazu—was wonderful. Apparently each Room has different tea utensils and book selections; I’d love to stay in another one next time. I’ll definitely be back in Miyazu!

Both hosts were very welcoming, and we had a wonderful time. The facility and amenities were very clean and comfortable. The view from the window was amazing, and exploring the area with the bicycles provided was a great experience. It was a lovely accommodation that makes us want to stay again.

The weather was cloudy and rainy, so we could only catch a glimpse of the majestic view of Mt. Fuji, which was a bit disappointing... The location would have been amazing on a clear day. Since it was an entire villa, it felt like staying in a private vacation home and was very relaxing. Personally, I found it very convenient that there was a washing machine and the bathroom had a drying function. The meals were also delicious. Above all, the staff were kind and efficient in their service, which made our stay even better. Thank you for taking care of us!

I had the opportunity to use a vacation rental for the first time. At first, I thought it was expensive, but considering the recent rise in hotel prices, I decided to indulge a little and made a Reservation. The property featured an indoor bath, outdoor bath, sauna, cold bath, kitchen with an iron plate grill, fireplace, sound system, TV, and three bedrooms. We bought fresh ingredients at a nearby market and enjoyed delicious steak and teppanyaki dishes. Lighting the fireplace and gazing at the flames were experiences that are hard to come by in daily life—it was truly blissful. However, please note that some parts of the sauna can get quite hot; be cautious with temperature adjustments. Highly recommended for couples or partners looking to break out of routine!

I stayed at Oriental Kyoto Rokujo during my time in Kyoto. The Accommodation had a calm atmosphere throughout, was very well cleaned, and made for a truly comfortable stay. The guest room was simple yet functional, with a streamlined layout that felt relaxing and allowed me to rest well after a full day of sightseeing on foot. What stood out most was the staff service—kind and attentive without being overbearing—which made the stay feel reassuring. The entire Hotel was quiet, and I think it’s a great place to enjoy the serene pace that feels so characteristic of Kyoto. It’s convenient for both sightseeing and business trips, and it’s a Hotel I’d like to stay at again.

The hotel was conveniently located near the station and easy to use. Overall, including the customer service, it was truly excellent. The breakfast was also wonderful, but I felt it was a bit wasteful as I couldn't eat much in the morning. Considering this, the breakfast price seemed higher compared to other prefectures, so I thought it would be nice if there were more affordable options even if they were less luxurious. Looking around, some guests only had bread and coffee. Also, the Accommodation Tax of 400 yen was new to me and felt unexpected; perhaps it was mentioned during the reservation process, but I felt slightly at a loss about it.

On short notice, we decided to watch the women’s golf tournament in Karuizawa on the 14th and 15th, and while looking for a Hotel, we found this one in Sakudaira—just 8 minutes away by Shinkansen—so we made a Reservation right away. After the tournament, we took the Shinkansen to Sakudaira! We were lucky to find seats even in the non-reserved car. After exiting the ticket gates, we headed to the Hotel on foot while taking a little walk around—about 7–8 minutes, I think. It seems there was also a free Shuttle Service! When we arrived and went to the front desk, a very pleasant female staff member explained everything carefully, which left a great impression. I later learned that it had only been open for about two months, so everything was spotless and brand-new. The lounge drinks were delicious as well! The Room was more spacious than expected, with a great layout and very comfortable. The unit bath was also easy to use. There is an Onsen Facility on the first floor, and it was incredibly relaxing! It’s very clean, and the water temperature felt just right. They even had ice pops after your bath! We had reserved dinner at a nearby Italian restaurant, but the Hotel restaurant was also open—maybe because it was during the Obon holiday period? The breakfast buffet the next morning had a great balance of Japanese and Western options, and everything tasted wonderful. After check-out, another very pleasant male staff member gave us a Shuttle Service ride to the station. The area around the Hotel is beautifully maintained, and it feels like a new townscape is being developed. We had such a comfortable stay. Thank you very much to all of your staff. We will definitely come again—next time with a round of golf included!
