The free Shuttle Service from Toyohashi Station was very helpful. The property feels a bit dated, but it has an upscale atmosphere, dinner options are available, and the staff were kind. Considering the price, we were very satisfied. We visited the Toyohashi City Hall Observation Deck and Yoshida Castle; both are free of charge.

I stayed in late July. I didn’t realize the location was this close to the sea, and I was truly impressed by the calm Sea of Japan views from my room at both sunset and sunrise. The free-flowing natural Onsen was wonderful, but perhaps because many guests used it after spending time at the beach, I noticed sand making the changing area feel gritty. (I really appreciated that it had been cleaned by the next time I went.) From check-in to check-out, the staff’s warm smiles and attentive service left a lasting impression. At dinner, the owner (?) also came to greet each table, which I thought was excellent. Luckily, my stay coincided with a fireworks display day, so I was able to enjoy an unexpected and lovely moment. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious—seafood really is amazing. Next time, I’d love to visit during crab season. It was a wonderful Accommodation that made me want to return. Thank you very much.

It had been a while since my last stay, but once again I thoroughly enjoyed the spectacular views, delicious meals, and the silky-smooth Onsen water. While some parts of the Facility felt a bit dated, the hospitality more than made up for it. Next time, I hope to visit in winter to enjoy crab.

Although it is a little away from the city center, Mitaka Station is the nearest station and it offers convenient access from Shinjuku. The Room meets Richmond’s reliable standards and is comfortable. Breakfast at Sizzler is also highly recommended.

The Facility is clean, and having an Onsen is a nice touch—it helps you relax and recover from fatigue. The Room is also clean, and I was able to get plenty of sleep. The front desk staff member was from Nepal, but their Japanese was excellent and communication was smooth. Their smile was wonderful as well. Thank you very much.

I stay here a few times a year, and since I drive a classic car that needs to warm up in the morning, they kindly take my parking needs into consideration. Also, the front desk staff member who assisted me at check-in this time was professional and poised, and the check-in process was smooth and wonderful.

I stayed here the day after a concert, and it exceeded my expectations. The Facility was very clean and comfortable. There was also a large public bath and a sauna, so I could relax and unwind. Dinner was served in a calm dining area, and the dishes made with seasonal Mie ingredients were delicious. All of the staff were kind as well. It was also convenient to have a supermarket right in front of the Hotel.\n\nWhen I come to Mie for another concert, I’d like to stay here again.

Very convenient, right in front of Sakurai Station. We stayed here to visit Hasedera Temple and Abe Monju-in on our way back from Osaka. We also planned to go to Horyu-ji afterward, so we used Sakurai Station, which is served by both Kintetsu and JR. The Room was more spacious than expected and very practical. The large public bath was also very clean. If I had one request, I would have liked mineral water in the Room.

I felt it was a classic, charming old Japanese Hotel. The building’s presence, the restaurant, the guest rooms, and the interior were all wonderful. I stayed on a Plan with breakfast and dinner included. The food was just as delicious as what you’d find at Hotels in Tokyo, and they kindly accommodated my dietary dislikes so I could fully enjoy the meals. All of the staff provided excellent service, and I felt everything throughout my stay was great. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

The staff were kind and attentive, and I was very satisfied. The Room was clean and nice. The bathtub was spacious enough to stretch out my legs and relax. I also tried the much-talked-about breakfast curry, and it was delicious. Above all, the low accommodation cost really helped. When I stay in Shimizu again, I would like to use this place again.

It is in a very convenient location for visiting the excellent Japanese restaurants and kappo dining in Gosho-minami, so I stay here often. The Room is kept clean and well prepared, the amenities are well stocked, and it also comes with Maeda Coffee, Marukyu Koyamaen Japanese tea bags, and sweets—perfect for a relaxing break. This is my favorite Hotel in Kyoto. On my last visit, even though it was not yet check-in time, they kindly let me check in early because my Room was ready, which I truly appreciated.

I visited Takayu Onsen for the first time in 20 years! It was my first stay at Kagetsu, and the baths were wonderful. I was traveling alone, but there were many solo travelers, and the dining area had single seating thoughtfully arranged, so I could enjoy my meal without worrying about others. The international staff were very kind and pleasant. It’s an Accommodation that made me want to come back again.

As before, the Room was very clean, and the staff were kind and pleasant, making it very comfortable. However, the only thing that still bothered me a little was the noise. I had been staying in a corner Room on the second floor (probably 203), but this time I stayed in 301 for the first time. It felt a bit smaller. Overall, I have no complaints. I would like to stay again. Thank you.

I made a Reservation for two nights, but it was so comfortable that I ended up staying three nights. From check-in, all the staff made a great impression—they were friendly and easy to talk to, so I felt relaxed right away rather than feeling like it was our first meeting. Since pets are welcome, I got to meet adorable dogs every day, and I also appreciated how kindly the staff interacted with them. They even took photos of visiting dogs, placed them in a mini album, and kept it in the lobby for guests to browse freely. The shop staff also seemed to love dogs—giving them treats and chatting with them created such a warm atmosphere. The staff were kind both to guests and to their dogs. Meals during a Multiple Night Stay can start to feel repetitive, but on both the second and third nights we received one special dish each as part of the Multiple Night Stay service—something not available at the buffet—which made me very happy. With the buffet, I treated it like “If I miss something today, I’ll try it tomorrow,” and managed to try everything over dinner (laugh). Breakfast included bread, yogurt, milk, and smoothies, so I mainly enjoyed bread-based options. At dinner there was unlimited soft drinks; at breakfast there were milk, smoothies, lemon water, and coffee. Alcohol at dinner cost extra, and there was also an all-you-can-drink Plan. My Room was a spacious Japanese-Western style room with two beds. Since I mentioned in advance that my knees aren’t great, they kindly arranged a Room on the 3rd floor near the elevator—I really appreciated that. The location of the Room was surrounded by trees and stayed quite dim even during the day (so we kept the lights on), but there is a free shuttle bus for hot-spring hopping to Mori no Soran iwa nearby. From when the shuttle started running until before dinner each day، I enjoyed their open-air baths، relaxed in their free massage chairs، or lay down on comfortable cushions in their bright spacious lobby. It seems you can use their indoor pool for free as well، but it sounded lively with children، so as an adult traveling alone، I chose instead to take my time enjoying my favorite open-air baths. I bought after-bath pudding and panna cotta at the shop， returned here for dinner， relaxed until bedtime， then went back into the baths again. This Accommodation has more varieties of baths than Mori no Soran iwa؛ if you walk further inside from within大浴場 along its corridor، you’ll find two open-air baths plus scented baths、 standing baths، and more—there’s plenty to enjoy. I’d love to visit again.

We traveled from Aichi Prefecture to visit Tottori and Shimane. After sightseeing at Matsue Castle, we made a Reservation at this Ryokan. Even though it was the day of our trip, the front desk staff were very helpful, and the Room and overall environment were excellent.\n\nIf you’re heading from Matsue Castle to Izumo Taisha, I highly recommend this Ryokan.\n\nThe morning clam miso soup was delicious.\n\nI would love to stay again if I have the chance. Thank you very much!

The double bed Room was more spacious than it appeared in the photos, allowing for a comfortable stay. The bathroom and bathtub were also quite roomy. Although both check-in and check-out were handled by machines, which I thought might feel impersonal, the friendly greetings from the front desk during brief outings added a welcoming touch.

Shikotsuko Onsen was very quiet, with no convenience stores or restaurants nearby, so we were able to relax peacefully. The front desk, lobby lounge, and restaurant areas felt calm, spacious, and comfortable—perhaps also because the Hotel was not fully booked that day. I have often stayed at small guesthouses and pensions recently, so it was great to experience proper Hotel-style service again, even though this was an annex of a major Hotel. Meals at a Ryokan are often more than I can finish, but here the portions were just right. The pasta in particular was excellent. I was also very satisfied with the services such as drink service at dinner, 24-hour coffee service, gelato after dinner (especially the liqueur-topped gelato, which is available for an additional fee), replenishment of towels and water after dinner, and more. It was also nice that we could use the main building’s private open-air bath at a very reasonable price. The complimentary ramune soda was delicious as well. Two points concerned me: first, the Hotel’s Reservation page stated that they would contact guests by phone or email a few days before arrival for confirmation, but we did not receive any contact. Since it also said that staying might not be possible if there is no response, I called the day before; they simply replied that my Reservation existed without any apology for the lack of notice. Second, while the large in-room jacuzzi filled quickly despite its size and was enjoyable once inside, it was difficult to get out because it is deep and high-sided. This could be dangerous for older guests; having steps or at least a non-slip step stool would make bathing much safer.

This was our first time staying here, and we were very well taken care of. From the warm welcome upon arrival, we were served tea and delicious sweets before being shown to our Room. The guest Room had a clean, modern Japanese style, and we were truly impressed by the wonderful view of the sea from anywhere in the Room—even from the bath. In addition, the Onsen bath had silky, slightly thick water that felt great and left our skin smooth; we enjoyed it many times and were completely satisfied. Both dinner and breakfast were more than enough in quantity, and every dish was delicious. We initially thought the dining area seating might be close together, but it wasn’t at all; we enjoyed chatting while listening to explanations about the dishes from the proprietress and staff. We had been looking for an Accommodation where we could simply relax, enjoy great food, and soak in good hot water—and this was a wonderful Accommodation where we could truly take our time. We’re happy to have found an Accommodation that makes us think, “We definitely want to come again in a different season.”

I stayed at your accommodation two and a half years ago. At that time, the Hokuriku Shinkansen had not yet opened in Fukui Prefecture, so the nearest station was Takefu Station on the Hokuriku Main Line (now Happiline Fukui), and it took about 10 minutes by taxi to reach your accommodation. Now, with Echizen-Takefu Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen as the nearest station, it is conveniently located within walking distance for those traveling by Shinkansen. The room I stayed in was on the top floor of your seven-story accommodation. As shown in the images, you can see Route 8, the Hokuriku Shinkansen, and Hokuriku Expressway from there; however, my room faced away from Echizen-Takefu Station and Takefu Interchange. The design of this room reminded me of a hotel near Kanazawa Station (Via Inn Kanazawa), where a bed was placed next to a sofa in a similar layout. After relaxing briefly in my room, I went to the dining area on the first floor. The menu included some local specialties from Fukui (such as Echizen soba and sauce katsudon). I chose sauce katsudon for my meal. Afterward, I returned to my room and enjoyed a pleasant time there. The next morning when I looked out of my window, I saw beautiful morning scenery (as shown in two images). After checking out of your accommodation, I walked to Echizen-Takefu Station and boarded the Shinkansen for further sightseeing. I was truly impressed with staying at your hotel near this convenient Shinkansen station location. Thank you very much! I'd love to stay again!

We visited on a three-generation girls’ trip. The Room had been renovated and was very clean. The meals were excellent, both in presentation and in quality. The meal for our 3-year-old child was also of a very high standard. Above all, the hot spring water left our skin feeling wonderfully smooth. This is an Accommodation we would love to visit again in a different season.
