The hospitality felt more like a luxury Ryokan than a temple lodging. Our Room was upgraded to a special suite, and we were able to relax in the spacious “Hojo” Room overlooking an expansive garden. The shojin-ryori cuisine was beautifully presented and delicious throughout. After dinner, we took a short walk (about 3 minutes) to Danjo Garan. With bonfires lit and the area illuminated, we caught a glimpse of Kobo Daishi’s mandala world through sights such as Konpon Daito, Saito Pagoda, and Kondo Hall. The next morning, we joined the morning service from 6:00 a.m., which felt truly solemn and moving. The Dharma talk by Archbishop Miyata explained Buddhism from a global perspective with humor, making it easy to understand. I strongly feel that Koyasan is best experienced with an overnight stay. It was a wonderful stay. The food was delicious, and the wide selection of sake is heaven for sake lovers. Thank you to the staff for their excellent hospitality. The only disappointment was that our schedule didn’t allow us to use the open-air bath. We’ll be back.

The Accommodation has a wonderful atmosphere and offers satisfaction beyond its price. At the entrance, there was a vending machine selling rare flash-frozen soba you can enjoy as if freshly made, as well as Matsumoto Sanzoku-yaki. They kindly accompanied us to our Room on the second floor and even carried our luggage. When we left, although it was raining, they lent us an umbrella and saw us off. The interior has a special, out-of-the-ordinary feel, with calming lights placed throughout the hallways and other areas. The toilets and washbasins are shared, but they are clean. There is also a large public bath with separate hours for men and women, and if available, you can use the private bath at no extra charge. The water temperature is on the lukewarm side. Breakfast offered many kinds of small side dishes, a large-nameko mushroom miso soup, and curry that was light yet flavorful; we were told it uses Indian spices. Next time, I’d like to try dinner as well.

The hot springs, hospitality, and meals were all excellent, and we were very satisfied. The dishes were mostly seafood, but every item was delicious and truly satisfying. The service was also wonderful. We arrived early, but they kindly showed us to our room, which we really appreciated.\nThis is an inn we would love to stay at again.

Last summer, we stayed here for the first time and our whole family was thrilled to enjoy such an extraordinary getaway, so this year we extended our stay to three nights. Since we thought we might not make it by check-in time, we let them know we would be late, and they responded very pleasantly. Check-in was until 6:00 PM, but when we arrived around 7:00 PM and went to reception, the staff greeted us with a wonderful smile and said “Welcome back,” providing truly perfect service. Right after checking in, as we drove out for dinner, we noticed that the decorative lights that had been on earlier were now off—and realized they had turned them on as a landmark to help us find reception. We felt sorry for the trouble and were impressed by how thoughtful the staff were. Because we have a dog, we chose a type with a large dog run and BBQ facilities, and it exceeded our expectations. The Room was spacious and spotless, amenities were well prepared, and it was so perfect it was hard to find anything to complain about. We’d love to keep using it like a vacation home in the future, and I think it’s also ideal for multiple families or three-generation trips.

We stayed here as a family of four—my husband, my mother, my son, and me. There is a supermarket called Himawari Market nearby, as well as a bakery called TRIFFLE, so we had no trouble at all even without meals included at the Accommodation. The bed sheets were soft and comfortable, and we really enjoyed staying in this log cabin with its clean wooden scent! Thank you very much. We would love to stay again!

There was none of the odor that’s common at pet-friendly accommodations, and the entire place felt clean and comfortable—we had a wonderful stay! Since we stayed in September, we enjoyed a BBQ outside. They also provided insect repellent and mosquito coils, which was extremely helpful! It really felt like it’s run by a lovely parent-and-child team. We’d definitely love to stay here again! This is by far the best pet-friendly place we’ve ever stayed at!! Thank you again!

It was a wonderful hotel, just as expected. The room was spacious, and the interior had the kind of atmosphere I like, making it very comfortable.\nUnfortunately, we had several days of bad weather during our stay, but we still enjoyed the view of the Higashiyama area even with the clouds.\nWe were satisfied with everything provided in the room (drinks and amenities).

This Hotel is just as wonderful as the Reviews say!! There was a great variety of complimentary drinks, including some unique options like matcha latte and roasted green tea latte, and I was very satisfied. The Room was clean and comfortable to stay in. Above all, what impressed me most was how kind all the staff were!! On the day I stayed, Nagoya had torrential rain with weather warnings issued, and public transportation such as trains had stopped. The concert I had planned to attend was also canceled, which was very disappointing, but I was able to relax in this lovely Room, and it became a good memory in its own way!! I would definitely like to stay here again!

The beach was right in front of us, and from the rooftop Onsen pool we had a panoramic view over Karatsu city. We were welcomed with a cake, and there were also sweets in our Room, plus a whole lineup of ice cream before the bath. The breakfast buffet was so plentiful we couldn’t finish it, with an excellent selection of desserts as well. As expected from Chateraise—I wished we could have stayed one more night.

It was simply amazing!! I’ve stayed at many large Ryokan, and I was delighted to enjoy both the scenic-view baths and a variety of hot springs. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, with more food than we could finish. Everything was truly delicious—thank you very much. The building had a classic, long-established feel, but the staff’s hospitality was outstanding. We stayed with our child and had a great time without ever getting bored, thanks to the pool, fishing, arcade, and play area. It made us want to come back again if we get the chance. We debated among several Accommodations on Awaji Island (including sister properties), but we’re congratulating ourselves for making a great choice with Hotel New Awaji.

We stayed on the Espacio Floor for a Hotel getaway with our baby as a refreshing break from daily childcare. I had pictured Nagoya Kanko Hotel as a long-established, classic Hotel, but the Rooms, lounge, and spa on the Espacio Floor were all beautiful and sophisticated, making for an extremely satisfying stay. Thanks to our Diamond member benefits, we were upgraded to a larger Room. They also lent us a baby crib and a diaper pail, so even with a baby we had no inconvenience at all and could truly enjoy our stay. The staff’s hospitality was excellent, and their service was consistently pleasant. We especially loved the lounge on the 18th floor and used it for everything—starting with afternoon tea, then the evening light meal, nightcap service, and breakfast. Perhaps because we stayed on a weekday, there were few guests; combined with the generous spacing between seats, we were able to relax in comfort. The sweets and savory items at afternoon tea were all delicious—we were delighted from right after check-in! The Room was spacious and included both a sofa and dining table. With complimentary minibar items as well, we could unwind not only in the lounge but also comfortably in our Room. After our baby fell asleep, my wife and I enjoyed minibar drinks together at ease—it was wonderfully restorative. Although we didn’t use them since it was only one night, it left an impression that the Room came equipped with a mini kitchen, a BALMUDA toaster oven/microwave combo unit (oven range), and a drum-type washer/dryer. We also appreciated the high-quality amenities: BVLGARI bath amenities, a ReFa shower head, and a REPRONIZER hair dryer. We also used the spa located in an adjacent building. It felt slightly compact but wasn’t crowded—almost like having it to ourselves—and we could relax in such a calm space. As someone who loves saunas in particular, I really liked that they have both an over-90°C dry sauna and cold plunge pool (it would be even better with more of a dedicated relaxation area). With my wife’s blessing I went both at night and again in the morning. Overall this stay exceeded expectations by far—we were extremely satisfied. We would love to return to Espacio again whenever we need another refreshing break from parenting!

The room was clean, and it was a lovely property where I could relax and truly enjoy my stay. Dinner was very filling, and I was extremely satisfied. After dinner, there was an event where complimentary sake was served, so I enjoyed comparing different varieties. It was scary when three large centipedes appeared one after another at night, but when I called the front desk they responded immediately, which made me feel reassured. All of the staff were kind and had wonderful smiles, making this a truly enjoyable trip. I also enjoyed the large public bath, the in-room bath, and the courtyard garden—staying here was fantastic. Thank you very much.

In our fourth year with our toy poodle, we stayed this time at a dog-first Hotel in Kawaguchiko. From the outside, the building does show its age and some deterioration is unavoidable, but the Room was spacious and comfortable, with underfloor heating and even a jacuzzi. The dog amenities and services were excellent. The Onsen, dog run, and restaurant are all within walking distance, so it was a bit tough in the rain. What really stood out was the food. From steaks where you can choose the cut to appetizers and desserts, everything was carefully prepared and delicious. The service and friendly check-ins were wonderful as well, and we enjoyed dining comfortably with our dog. It was my first time being able to enjoy a full-course meal calmly while traveling with a dog—and with such outstanding flavor. Just one thing: on both arrival/departure Shuttle Service rides and at checkout, some staff spoke so quietly that it was hard to hear them clearly. I hope that point will be improved. It was a very nice Hotel—thank you very much. We will visit again.

We stayed here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. After letting the hotel know in advance, everyone was so kind, and they even prepared a celebratory card in our room. I was truly happy, and it became a wonderful birthday memory. The room was very clean, and above all, the runway view was amazing. My husband, who loves airplanes, of course enjoyed it, but I also loved spending relaxing time in the room watching planes. Being able to calmly watch aircraft take off and land from so close felt like a real luxury. The bathroom facilities were also easy to use, and having the sink area, toilet, and bath all separated was very comfortable. As I am pregnant, it made the stay especially easy for me as well, and I could rest properly at the hotel. The amenities were well stocked, and I was glad they provided bath salts. The separate pajama set was also convenient, and we could really feel the thoughtful touches that made everything comfortable. The entire hotel was quiet, so we slept well at night. Breakfast had a great variety and tasted delicious—especially fun was being able to make our own zenzai using Eitaro sweet red bean paste. It added a little special feeling to the morning. I think this is a great hotel not only for an overnight stay before or after using Haneda Airport or for aviation fans, but also for anyone who isn’t particularly knowledgeable about planes yet would enjoy relaxing while looking out over the runway. I’m truly glad we chose this hotel for such an important day—my husband’s birthday. Thanks to their warm hospitality, it became a wonderful stay. We would definitely love to visit again.

We booked the Plan with dinner on a riverside dining platform, and not only was the meal excellent, but we also had a wonderful time chatting with a maiko, which became a great memory.\nThe in-house Facilities were also superb, and we especially enjoyed the Onsen twice.\nWe were truly moved by the warm hospitality of all the staff. Thank you very much for taking care of us.

We stayed here for a maternity trip and to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We were impressed by Atagawa’s charming entrance and the refined elegance of the interior. The hinoki indoor bath, stone open-air bath, and luxurious amenities such as Sekkisei and Acca Kappa made our stay feel truly indulgent. Walking through the quiet stone garden to the dining venue, “Donkon,” we found an atmosphere so sophisticated it would suit a stylish wedding ceremony. The cuisine was lavish and beautifully prepared, and we enjoyed every moment. Two things especially moved us during dinner. One was the proprietress’s warm personality—graceful yet friendly—and she kindly explained highlights of each dish. The other was their thoughtful accommodation for pregnancy. When making our Reservation, I didn’t request any changes, thinking it would be easier to have my husband eat anything I couldn’t. However, upon arrival, the staff proactively offered an alternative and changed my sashimi to miso-grilled spiny lobster. It was delicious, and we were deeply touched by their consideration. We would love to return once our baby is born.

It was my parents’ first long-distance trip in a while, and they were delighted with the lounge upon arrival, enjoying alcohol and desserts. They remained in great spirits thanks to the thoughtful hospitality throughout our stay. At dinner, every dish was delicious, and even I—usually a light eater—found myself eating more than usual. After enjoying the spacious Onsen, we had a wonderful time chatting in the nostalgic Kiku Room while looking out at the garden. Thank you for such a lovely time. I was so happy to see how much my parents enjoyed it—it was truly worth bringing them here. Thank you very much.

Located right in front of Hikone Castle, the location is outstanding. Although it’s not a hot spring, you can see the castle keep from the large public bath, and being able to bathe while enjoying such a wonderful view is truly special. I ended up going in three times—at dusk, at night, and early in the morning—and was able to fully appreciate the castle’s beauty at different times of day. For dinner I had sukiyaki. The portion was very generous and I couldn’t finish it, but it was delicious. What left a strong impression on me was how kind and attentive one of the younger female staff members was—she served us with genuine care and effort. Even as we were leaving, she chatted with us and saw us off with a smile until the very end. It was service that really stayed with me. When I’m in Hikone again, this is definitely a hotel I’d like to return to.

With an entryway, there is space to take off your shoes, which is recommended for guests with babies. You can feel at ease letting your child crawl around or spread things out. The elevator is also fast, so moving between floors (such as to the hot spring on the top floor) didn’t feel like a hassle. I would like to stay here again next time I visit Naha.
