I always stay here when I come back to visit my family. It’s great that breakfast is included even though the price is low. This time, although I don’t usually notice it, there was an unpleasant smell. I turned on the air conditioner and opened the window to ventilate, but it didn’t go away easily, which was disappointing.

Every year, we stay for about a week for my wife’s birthday trip. The Room is spacious and the Facility is well equipped, so when we travel to Miyakojima, we can’t imagine staying anywhere other than Hotel California. We didn’t even request it, but there was towel art on the bed, and my wife was absolutely delighted.

It’s extremely convenient right in front of the station and great value for money. You can enjoy drinks like coffee anytime, and bread is provided in the morning. It’s a truly welcome service at this price. It’s not actually my final destination, but I like it so much that I get off along the way to stay here. I’d like to keep using it in the future.

We stayed for one night during our summer vacation trip. We came mainly for the pool, but there were so many events and fun activities for kids throughout the property that one night was nowhere near enough! Everyone was so kind to our children, and they were very happy—they keep saying they want to come back again (lol). When we visit Awaji Island again, we would love to stay here again!!

This was our first time staying here on a summer vacation trip to Fukushima. Thanks to the clear, concise explanations and easy-to-follow guidance inside the Facility, we were able to move around smoothly throughout our stay. The afternoon lounge offers light bites for adults and snacks for children, making it perfect for a short break. The Onsen lounge had peach leaf tea that seemed great for hydration, Aizu rice tea, and warm amazake as well. While the kids relaxed in the hammock, adults could truly unwind too. We were surprised by the wide selection of alcohol in the evening lounge. And every snack was delicious! Many of our favorites were also available at the shop on the first floor, which was another nice touch. Not only the front desk staff, but also those handling cleaning and restocking in the Onsen lounge were very kind and pleasant. We would love to stay here again when we travel to Fukushima.

All staff—at the front desk, restaurant, large public bath, shop, and even the bus driver—were very welcoming. The meals were delicious, and the amenities were well stocked. In particular, there was a free-flowing Onsen on the terrace, so my elderly parents could enjoy the Onsen with peace of mind. They were very happy, and it became a wonderful memory for us. One disappointing point was that—perhaps only in our Room—a lot of dust had accumulated around the light near the headboard in the bedroom. Other than that, we are grateful for all of your services.

I found this site and, as a birthday gift for my wife, I splurged more than on our usual trips and made a Reservation for the “Shinshu Beef Tasting Kaiseki” on the Sky Comfort Floor. When we checked in, thanks to the Hotel’s consideration, we were upgraded to a Luxury Suite at no extra charge. It was truly eye-opening. That alone would have been more than enough, but dinner—the “Shinshu Beef Tasting Kaiseki”—was also outstanding: sweet and tender beef, a rich aroma, and exceptional hospitality. This has definitely become one of the Hotels we want to return to. Thank you very much. My wife was delighted as well. The open-air bath was also wonderful—just like in the photos on the site—and incredibly relaxing.

I found this Accommodation while looking for a one-night stay in Osaka this summer for my family of four. Since I searched around May and made a Reservation early, we were able to stay in a spacious Room for four at a much lower price. The lobby was spacious, the staff were pleasant, and the breakfast selection was plentiful and delicious. I’d like to make this our regular Accommodation in Osaka.

I had a very comfortable stay. Considering the price, it offered excellent value for money, and every meal was delicious with just the right portions. The Ryukyu-tatami Room was spacious and clean, making it easy to relax. Both the large public bath and the open-air bath were roomy, and the water felt soft with a slight silky texture—very soothing. I also appreciated being seated at a quiet end spot in the dining area for solo guests, which allowed me to enjoy my meals in peace. This is an Accommodation I would definitely like to visit again in a different season.

We stayed for two nights for my wife’s birthday trip. Breakfast on the club floor was calm and relaxing, which we really enjoyed. It would have been even better with a slightly wider selection. The Room was on the top floor as requested, and the night view from the Room was breathtaking. The Room was clean, very spacious, and comfortable. The only small disappointment was that there was no body towel among the amenities. All staff were very polite, and in particular, the trainee female staff member at the front desk provided outstanding service. Even though it was a busy time at reception, when I asked to borrow a hair iron she said she would check availability later. Since we were about to go out, I asked her to call me if one became available; she agreed and called back shortly after, and we were able to borrow one without any issues. Thank you for your courteous help throughout—without showing any displeasure at all. Thanks to her, my wife was truly delighted as well. I regret that I wasn’t able to thank her properly in person. When we visit Sapporo again, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you very much.

Located near the downtown area, convenient, and the Room was clean and reasonably priced! I’d like to stay again.

The staff service, Facility, Room, Miyajima cruise, dinner, and breakfast were all very satisfying. We had a Multiple Night Stay, and there was almost nothing repeated at dinner. Also, the rice balls made on the spot at breakfast were perfectly shaped, and our whole family enjoyed them. Thank you very much to all the staff.

I love the calm atmosphere of Tateshina Tokyu Hotel and have stayed here several times. Its setting in the forest, the dignified yet unpretentious interiors, and the quiet time you can spend here offer a charm that is hard to find at other hotels. This time was no different, and it reminded me again how much I like this hotel. Also, though it’s a small thing, I really like the toothbrushes in the guest rooms. They’re comfortable to use, and I can feel the hotel’s thoughtfulness even in these details. I hope you will continue with the current ones. On the other hand, precisely because I’ve been coming for many years, there are a few things that disappointed me. The biggest one is that Japanese dinner has been discontinued since this year. On a Multiple Night Stay, we used to enjoy being able to choose “Western tonight, Japanese tomorrow” within the hotel itself. Especially for us—who prefer not to drive once we arrive and instead relax in the forest or inside—the option was very important. French cuisine certainly has its appeal, but having Western meals both nights makes it feel like a slightly different hotel than before. I would be happy if Japanese dinner becomes an option again someday. I was also sorry to hear that the garden pool, long loved by guests, has ended operations starting this year. I understand it was due to aging facilities (Facility), but combined with the end of Japanese dinner options (Facility), it feels as though some of what made Tateshina Tokyu special is gradually disappearing. One more thing I would love to see enhanced is the in-house library collection (Facility). This is such a quiet Hotel where you can relax while looking out at the forest—perfect for reading. The current selection feels lacking not so much in quantity as in curation quality. If there were more books that you’d want to pick up specifically because you came to Tateshina—on Shinshu’s nature and culture, mountains, architecture, travel writing, literature—it would make time spent at this Hotel even richer. I’m not asking for new facilities or services one after another. Rather, I hope you will continue cherishing and preserving what makes this Hotel unique. These comments come from someone who truly likes this Hotel—and I hope to keep visiting for many years to come.

I stayed here on the third night of my three-night trip to Aomori. This Review is based on staying in the Deluxe Hollywood Twin Room. Even being conservative, I had absolutely no complaints. The Room was spacious and spotless, and since it was on the 10th floor, the view was outstanding. The bathroom is separated from the bedroom by glass, and when you open the roll-down privacy shade it feels very open—almost like a Resort Hotel—with a great view. Both the hair dryer and shower head were ReFa, and having two sinks was very convenient. The toilet is also separate from the wet area. The front desk staff were excellent, and I never had an unpleasant experience at all. I only used breakfast dining, but there was a wide selection and everything was delicious. After reading Reviews on IKYU and Google, I honestly don’t understand why the ratings aren’t higher. It may depend on which Room you stay in, but I had no complaints whatsoever. I would like to stay here again when visiting Hirosaki.

A male front desk staff member recommended a great place for dinner. He was very courteous, and I truly appreciate his help. The Room and the entire property were clean, and I had a comfortable stay.

The location was excellent (close to Sendai Station, the shopping arcade, and especially the downtown area), the price was reasonable, and I was very satisfied with the breakfast buffet. In addition, the Hotel front desk staff were helpful, and even when there were many cars in use, parking was available at the affiliated parking lot (Dai-Sendai Parking), which was also very close and convenient. I would like to stay here again next time I visit Sendai City.

Upon arrival at the Accommodation, a female staff member greeted us with a gentle smile and warm hospitality, making it a wonderful memory. We were also very satisfied with the welcome drink service, which included coffee and a small Danish pastry.

I stayed here on short notice for a trip to Tottori. I couldn’t find the location of the affiliated parking lot, so I called the front desk, and they kindly helped me—I really appreciated it. The Room was spacious enough, there were free drinks on the first floor, and there was also a large public bath—everything was excellent. It’s close to the station as well, which was truly convenient. Thank you very much! I’d love to stay again.

I came to a live concert with my daughter, and on the last day we stayed at Manyo Club Minatomirai. It’s an Accommodation we always stay at whenever we visit Yokohama. This time it was also my daughter’s birthday, so we chose the Girls’ Trip Plan, which included dinner. We had a 2-hour seat Reservation and enjoyed our meal while taking in the night view of the Ferris wheel and more. The staff member who looked after us was very easy to talk to and provided attentive, thoughtful service. Every dish was delicious, and the sea bream carpaccio was especially tender and tasty. Since it was a Girls’ Trip Plan, the vegetable shabu-shabu was great too! We had a wonderful time chatting over delicious food with a beautiful view. I had pre-booked a surprise birthday cake in advance; the chef made it for us, and our staff member even sang “Happy Birthday.” My 26-year-old daughter got to blow out candles for the first time in ages! Thanks to everyone at the restaurant, the surprise was a success. We had such a lovely time—thank you to everyone at Manyo-an. It’s also great that you can go to the Onsen empty-handed. I also like that you can choose your yukata—I pick a different one every time. As someone who enjoys sauna sessions, both the sauna and Onsen were excellent. The sauna temperature is on the higher side—perfect!! I felt completely refreshed on the outdoor relaxation beds. I lost track of time and stayed in the Onsen for two hours. The rooftop footbath has different views at night and in the morning—both are wonderful. At night, especially, the Ferris wheel looks amazing. My daughter and I enjoyed it for about 30 minutes while chatting. Breakfast has so many options that it’s hard to choose. I’m happy you can select grilled items as well—and you can even have sushi or hot pot from early morning. Since it’s buffet-style, staff quickly refilled items that were running low. Everything tasted great. However, depending on timing there were people who couldn’t find seats; it gets especially crowded after 8:00. The coin laundry is close to our Room, and being able to wash and dry everything for 500 yen in two hours was very convenient. I started it before going to the Onsen and picked it up before returning to my Room afterward. At another Hotel there was a washer inside the changing area—I thought that setup would be nice too. It’s also conveniently located near CupNoodles Museum Yokohama (Cup Noodles Museum), Hammerhead (Yokohama Hammerhead), Cosmo World (Yokohama Cosmo World), Landmark Tower (Yokohama Landmark Tower), and more. We truly had an extremely comfortable stay this time. When we come back to Yokohama again, we will stay here. Thank you very much to all of your staff members.
