Conveniently located near the Yamato Interchange and in a quiet residential area, this Hotel is recommended for travelers driving by car. The staff are courteous, and the individually wrapped paper cups were hygienic and appreciated. Drip coffee is also available, making for a relaxing stay.

I stayed here on a business trip from Tokyo in early July. It’s about 1,200 yen by taxi from the airport. The Room was clean and comfortable. Within a 2-3 minute walk from the Hotel, there are MaxValu, Yoshinoya, FamilyMart, McDonald's, and other dining options, which was very convenient. Breakfast was included, and I enjoyed an omelet rice at a nearby internet café. It was delicious (not buffet-style but a fixed menu). I would like to stay here again if I have another opportunity. Thank you!

Recently, hotel prices in Tokyo have become very high, so I searched for a way to stay cheaply and ended up making a reservation here. The room had a slight smell of tobacco, which was a bit tough to get used to at first, but at this price, the only other option is a capsule hotel, so being able to sleep in a private room with a proper large bed, plus a small kitchen, was more than enough. It was also convenient to have access to Nakanobu and Nishi-Oi. Thank you very much!

The parking lot was a bit hard to find, so I called for directions. They were very polite and easy to understand, and I was able to park without any trouble. (It’s along the road on the east side of the NTT building!) The Facility is certainly old, but it’s kept very clean, and thanks to the kind and courteous staff, I had a comfortable stay. I could also see Mt. Fuji from the window, and I’m very satisfied with the great value. Thank you!

The Room window offers a panoramic view of Lake Towada, and the ever-changing scenery in the morning and evening was truly soothing. With a location right by the lake, plus nearby activity spots and a shrine, it’s an excellent base for sightseeing and strolling. The Room uses a keypad entry system, so there’s no worry about not having enough keys for everyone, and it’s convenient not having to carry them around. Amenities were well stocked, so we didn’t feel inconvenienced at all. The face masks and cooling foot sheets were especially appreciated. The Room’s water dispenser provided great-tasting water and was very useful. Dinner was served in the Room, so our family could relax without worrying about others—very satisfying. The Asobiba Room is fun for both adults and children.

Stayed in a log-type Accommodation. Spacious, atmospheric, and thoroughly clean. Great value, and we had a wonderful time. A Facility that welcomes dogs as well, making it suitable for a wide range of guests. We’d love to stay again!

I was able to choose pillows and sleep at my preferred height on a large bed. I also happened to be able to take a bath alone and relax, even though it was just for one night, I was able to spend my time leisurely. I would like to use this place again when I stay in Kakogawa.

The bath features an Onsen with ultrasonic baths, open-air baths, saunas, and more, providing a very relaxing experience. When my return train schedule was unexpectedly moved earlier, breakfast was originally from 7 AM but they kindly prepared it earlier so I could eat before leaving. Thank you very much. I would love to stay here again next time.

I made a last-minute Reservation, but my stay went smoothly. The power outlet was a bit far, but an extension cord was provided, so I could charge my phone by the bedside. The only issue—depending on the Room—was that switching between the shower and faucet and adjusting the water temperature was a little tricky. Breakfast was also delicious.

I stayed on a weekday. There was no wait at reception, and I was able to go to my Room smoothly. The Room is old, but it was properly cleaned and tidy. Amenities in each Room were limited to a toothbrush, towels, and a yukata, but there seemed to be more available in the Onsen changing room. Wi-Fi works, but when I ran a speed test the download speed was around 8 Mbps. Since it was about this fast on a quiet day, I wouldn’t expect much on busy days. For dinner, I chose the charcoal-grilled seafood set. It included crab, scallops, salmon, squid, vegetables, and also sashimi. Since there was udon included I didn’t ask for it, but it seems rice is provided as well. You can also order additional dishes or sake tasting sets for an extra charge. The Onsen felt like it was privately reserved just for me. It’s a great Onsen, and being able to use one of that size alone might actually be a rare opportunity. I think I saw other Reviews mentioning cold shower water; if it’s nearly private-use only, the pipes may have cooled down due to low usage. For about one minute only cold water came out, but after that it worked normally. The sauna did not seem to be available due to COVID-19 prevention measures. Overall, considering the Accommodation Fee level (value for money), this Hotel offers high satisfaction with dinner, breakfast (included), and the Onsen—great cost performance/value for money overall. The Facilities are somewhat dated throughout which is slightly noticeable; aside from that point my satisfaction level was high.

The breakfast rice balls were incredibly delicious, and the coffee was great too! The price with breakfast included offers excellent value for money. A microwave is available on the second floor, and there are vending machines on each floor, which is convenient. While the combined bath & toilet setup is understandable, the water pressure of the bidet was low. The sunrise view from the guest room was beautiful.

The dinner course is exceptional and worth the trip on its own. A perfect balance of authentic Japanese cuisine and French dishes alternates beautifully, creating an outstanding dining experience. Additionally, the female staff are incredibly hardworking, the Onsen is excellent, and being located over 1500m above sea level makes it a perfect summer retreat. Despite the Facility being older, it is clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The Onsen was truly amazing as well. Shiga Kogen offers plenty of summer activities, and consulting with the Hotel staff provides a wide range of options to enjoy. It was a fantastic experience overall.

It was so cool and refreshing that I almost forgot the summer heat of the city. I think I would have been even more satisfied if there had been a coffee service. I look forward to staying here again!
