I had been wanting to stay at this Accommodation for a long time and was really looking forward to it. As the reviews said, everything was very clean, and the Room was a bit spacious with a layout different from a typical twin—very satisfying. The ceiling height on each floor also felt relatively high, giving a slightly open feel. The bath was practically private, so we could relax and enjoy it. Both yukata and samue were provided, and we chose the samue. It worked well as sleepwear. The meals were just right for us since we can’t eat very large portions, and everything was delicious. The location is also convenient, and I would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

This was our first visit for a birthday anniversary trip. Everything was outstanding. There are only 13 Rooms, and each is a separate, unique detached villa. The interior is thoughtfully designed down to every detail, spacious and comfortable, and the garden is beautifully maintained, making it a very relaxing stay. As Onsen lovers, we barely had time to rest—we fully enjoyed all seven private baths as well as the bath in our Room. There is no large public bath, but there are six private Onsen baths that you can use freely at any time. The water is free-flowing and feels wonderful. The meals were also beautifully presented with great attention to appearance as well as ingredients—decorated with orchids, stunning to look at, and very generous in portion size. From wagyu beef to lobster and shark fin, it was an incredibly luxurious and delicious dining experience. I recommend arriving with a big appetite. The staff’s hospitality and service were excellent too. We were truly glad we chose this place for our anniversary trip—it’s an Accommodation worth visiting even if you have to fly there. I’d love to come back in another season, and I’m also curious about other Rooms, so I’m sure we’ll return. If you’re unsure where to stay, I highly recommend this place.

While preserving the traditional machiya atmosphere overall, the Accommodation has been thoughtfully renovated with a focus on key areas such as the bathroom and kitchen—spacious, spotless, and highly practical. It was a comfortable space with an excellent sense of balance. Unlike a typical Hotel stay, it offered an experience that blends into the neighborhood, and I felt as if I were spending my very first day after moving in. There are many lighting fixtures, and being able to fine-tune them to suit different situations was very convenient. The complimentary local drinks—such as roasted green tea and cider—were a delightful touch that added to the travel mood. Everything from the teapot and cups to the tray and even the hair dryer had a refined design that was pleasing to look at. It was a wonderful Room combining quality with functionality. Under normal circumstances this would unquestionably be a 5-star stay, but this time I am rating it 3 stars. The guests upstairs ran around for minutes at night and again the next morning like shuttle runs, even falling loudly at times. It was noise at a level that would feel excessive even in an ordinary Hotel—and all the more so in a machiya-style place like Komado. Even if our floors were reversed and I were staying upstairs, it would still have carried through. It was extremely difficult to endure. I wanted to raise this through staff, but neither the main phone line nor the emergency contact number could be reached around 7:30 p.m. I believe this Accommodation’s core appeal is its high-quality feel that blends seamlessly into everyday life in town, so it was deeply disappointing that such noise is fundamentally incompatible with that experience. That said, if you are not paired with guests like we had this time, it will surely be an outstanding stay without complaint. Being able to look out onto the courtyard was also fantastic; it is illuminated at night and offers scenery different from daytime—I never got tired of it!

Whenever I visit Osaka, I stay at this Hotel. This time, I noticed that the table in the Room was smaller than before, and the shower was a bit harder to use than it used to be. However, being able to make a Reservation for parking gives me peace of mind, and it’s a Hotel where I can stay comfortably. I’m always grateful that when I have a Multiple Night Stay, you provide amenities for the full number of nights. Thank you very much—I’d like to stay here again when I’m in Osaka.

Both the meals and the room were excellent.

The Room and the bath were both very clean and lovely. On the first floor, there was a library-like space where I could read magazines and enjoy drinks from the drink bar, which was very relaxing after taking a bath. All of the staff were pleasant and kind. I’d like to stay here again!

My sister, her beloved dog Momo, and I stayed at Yabuman as a group of three. From the time we made the reservation, they were incredibly kind and helpful whenever we had questions about bringing our dog. When we arrived, all the staff warmly welcomed us. The meals were absolutely wonderful and delicious. We were completely full—both in body and in heart! Breakfast and dinner were served in a separate, spacious private room, where my sister and I could relax with drinks and talk at length. Of course, Momo was with us too. The hot spring was amazing—the water felt silky-smooth. The proprietress and every member of the staff were truly lovely. An outstanding long-established ryokan! Thank you for giving me such wonderful memories with my sister and Momo. We would love to stay again.

I stayed here for a hike on Onyujima Island and to visit the Nokasayama war ruins. It was a very well-located Hotel, close to Saiki Station and the highway bus stop from Oita Airport. The ferry terminal for Onyujima Island is also about a 10-minute walk away, which was very convenient. Leaflets for nearby restaurants were available in the Hotel lobby, and the recommended place “Toritomi” had amazing chicken tataki. This time I didn’t have enough time to sightsee around Saiki Castle, so I’d like to visit Saiki again. I’ll stay here again next time.

I stayed in the new wing, and the Room was clean and comfortable with a spacious desk. The staff were also very kind. The bath facilities are new as well, and the water is silky—truly feels like an Onsen. The sauna wasn’t too hot, and the cold bath wasn’t too cold, so it felt gentle on the body. It was very relaxing. Sauna mats were also provided. However, there is no trash bin inside the bathing area for disposing of used amenity items such as body towels or facial wash packets, so everyone had to return to the changing room trash bin while still wet. I would appreciate it if a small trash bin could be placed next to the shampoo area or near where sauna mats are returned. There were also manga and massage chairs in a space near the lobby, which helped me relax even more after bathing.

We stayed at Calm. From the moment we arrived, the kids let out a huge cheer when they saw the pool. Even between sightseeing and tours, as soon as we came back they jumped straight into the pool and had a blast. Even on departure day, they were able to play in the pool right up until the last minute, so we were glad we could enjoy it to the very end. The sauna is set at a lower temperature, so it’s more for gently warming up. Because the pool is quite deep, our kids (around 120 cm tall) couldn’t touch the bottom, which made it thrilling and fun for them (though parents can’t take their eyes off them). It was also very helpful that you lent us swim rings. On top of that, you gave them a turtle plush toy as a gift—they were absolutely delighted. Thank you very much. The location was excellent as well—easy access to nearby attractions such as Motobu Genki Village, the port used as a meeting point for snorkeling tours, and Fukugi Tree Road. On departure day we woke up early and took a walk along Fukugi Tree Road while there were still hardly any people around. We continued on foot to Bise Beach—it was truly beautiful, quiet, and incredibly relaxing. An early-morning walk along Fukugi Tree Road is highly recommended. All of the staff were very pleasant, and we had a comfortable stay throughout. If I had to mention one thing that stood out, it would be the bathroom layout. In our Room this time, the bathroom was on the second floor, so after swimming we had to go upstairs each time; going back and forth was slightly inconvenient for adults. However, it seems other villa types have both bathroom and toilet on the first floor, so next time we’d love to stay in one of those. We stayed for two nights this time; since you can enjoy both the pool and local sightseeing at a relaxed pace here, I recommend a Multiple Night Stay. Breakfast was delivered at 8:00 and was delicious. We had been told that spicy sauce for taco rice would be served separately; however, it came already poured over it this time so our child couldn’t eat it. On our first night we also ordered shabu-shabu catering—it was excellent—and even with two kids plus two adults (four of us), three servings were more than enough to leave us full. You also lent us an astronomical telescope; unfortunately we couldn’t figure out how to use it well this time. Next visit we'd love to look at stars while getting some guidance from you. Both kids and adults had an amazing two days. We would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

This is a truly wonderful Accommodation. It is located in a valley beyond a ridge from Kurokawa Onsen, reached by a narrow road that feels like a forest track. Crossing the ridge makes you feel as if you are entering a different world from Kurokawa. It is quiet— the small lobby, the corridors, the dining area, and even the baths. The Room is beautifully set, with furnishings and artwork on the walls that enhance the atmosphere. For meals, there are separate head chefs for Japanese and Western cuisine. Using local ingredients, everything was carefully seasoned and served in just the right portions. There is a café lounge where you can step out onto an outdoor terrace and enjoy coffee while taking in dew-covered greenery in the morning. With calm, attentive service as well, we enjoyed an atmosphere quite different from Kurokawa Onsen.

This was our 5th visit—two adults and two dogs. Homare feels relaxing no matter how many times we come. The semi-open-air bath alone would be more than enough, but the upstairs bath is also amazing. And of course, the karaoke is great too. We’ll definitely be back again. Thank you to the staff for your wonderful smiles as always.

It was a wonderful Accommodation. We travel around Japan every year and usually stay at Accommodations in a similar price range. When we actually arrive, the place is sometimes a little smaller than the photos, and it’s rare for it to exceed expectations—but this one did. The meals were not unnecessarily large and were absolutely delicious. My husband is very picky (he doesn’t really like meat or fish), so he usually gives me what he can’t eat, but this was the first time he finished everything himself. He really loved it and kept saying it was the best we’ve ever had. The fried dishes—maybe fries?—were unbelievably crispy; I’ve never had anything like that before. We were also soothed by the owner, his wife, and all the staff, as well as the Room, bath, decor, and scenery. We would love to come again. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us.

My elderly parents stayed here, and they were able to spend their time comfortably with no particular issues. When I made the reservation, I requested a room close to the elevator, and they prepared a room right next to it as requested, which was very helpful. The staff were also courteous, so we felt at ease throughout our stay. I had expected yukata robes, but it was a pleasant surprise that pajamas were provided. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options; everything was delicious and we enjoyed it. This time we booked a plan with Club Floor access. Last time there was cake provided, so it was a little disappointing that there wasn’t any this time, but my parents were very happy with their time on the Club Floor and it became a wonderful memory. Thank you for your thoughtful care for my elderly parents. We would like to stay again if we have the opportunity.

The view through the large windows on the way from the entrance to the front desk, surrounded by towering trees, was instantly soothing. The Room was wonderful, and we stayed together with my two daughters’ families. As soon as my young grandchildren entered the Room, they changed into swimsuits and headed to the pool. Since I wasn’t feeling well, I lay down on the sofa by myself and relaxed quietly while looking out over the pine grove. The Room had been renovated and felt very clean and fresh. Since our group included three small children (ages 6, 3, and 0) and four adults, they prepared a spacious private dining room for us, so we could take our time without worrying about other guests. We were completely satisfied with this Hotel in every way. My husband couldn’t join us this time, but we would love to stay again together. Even though I wasn’t feeling well and wanted to avoid long walks, I was able to walk to Kamogawa Sea World—and seeing a show there for the first time amazed me and left a lasting impression.

This was my second stay for a live show at Budokan. The Hotel is close to the station, within walking distance of Budokan, and there are convenience stores both inside the Hotel and right in front, which is very convenient. Last time, there was no numbered ticket system before check-in, so I was relaxing on the sofa without thinking much of it, but I noticed others holding what looked like paper. When I asked, I learned that numbered tickets were being distributed. I think it’s a good system, but it was a bit disappointing to realize that if I hadn’t noticed, I might have ended up waiting for a long time. Other than that, there were no issues at all, and the staff were efficient and made my stay very comfortable. I would definitely like to stay again next time. Thank you very much.

Our first Disney trip in a while as a parent and child. Even though we ended up staying until the park closed and checked in close to 10:00 p.m., the staff welcomed us with wonderful smiles. The room was very comfortable, the view was fantastic, and breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options—I ate far more than I intended. We would love to stay again next time. We stayed with our 18-month-old daughter and two adults. As an official hotel, they offered excellent service: we could leave our luggage at the Welcome Center at Maihama Station and have it delivered directly to our room, and when checking our bags we were able to request that the beds be moved to the side and fitted with a bed guard for our child. The bathroom was spacious and had a separate washing area, which was also very helpful when traveling with a child. We had a very comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options and we were very satisfied. The value for money was outstanding, so we would love to stay again.

This was my first stay on an all-inclusive plan. From 3:00 PM, craft beer was available with unlimited refills; from 5:00 PM, we enjoyed the sauna; and from 7:00 PM, we had a course dinner—making for a truly fulfilling experience. *The sauna requires a separate reservation! With lounge access and late-night soba service available until 10:00 PM, I highly recommend this hotel as an all-inclusive option. I’d love to stay again.

The facilities themselves haven’t changed much, but overall satisfaction is high thanks to features like bathrooms with a separate washing area in every room and dining options that stay open late. If I had to point out anything, it would be the lack of hooks in the room for hanging bath towels, and the toilet soundproofing being a bit weak—sounds from inside can be heard in the room. I’d like to see this improved. Breakfast has changed slightly compared to before, but I really enjoyed it. That said, there seemed to be fewer types of bread than you might expect for breakfast, though considering it’s a theme park restaurant, that may be fine. It would have been even better if items like pickled plums or seasoned seaweed were available at the pickles station. I understand dinner buffet service will be moved over to Vita, and that seems like one possible approach. I also think you could do more to highlight to hotel guests that Rex Cafe and the lounge are open late. Guests coming from far away tend to spend as much time as possible in the park and may not make it in time for the buffet’s last order—so having dinner options available later would likely be appreciated. I’m looking forward to further improvements.
