This time, we booked the Itan Bitchu dinner course, and our Room was “Ginkgo,” a beautifully renovated traditional Japanese house. Both dinner and breakfast were incredibly delicious. The staff’s thoughtful hospitality was also wonderful. I would love to stay again if I have the chance.

The Room was spotless. The view was beautiful. Everything about the location was perfect. On the day of our stay, we made a last-minute request to move from Building A-1 to Building A-2, and they kindly accepted and had it ready in about 20 minutes. During that time, they even served us tea at the café. All of the staff were truly wonderful! If I have a chance to visit Yamaguchi again, I’d love to stay here again, and it’s an Accommodation I can confidently recommend to others. By the way, the view of Tsunoshima Bridge and the sunset from the balcony at dusk was absolutely stunning!!! Building A-2 has a kitchen/dining area, so it was a great space for cooking and eating together (4 chairs). Also, although it wasn’t shown in the photos, there was a bedroom on the first floor! There’s also a small shower room. With two beds on the first floor and two on the second floor, there’s more than enough space for four people—you can stay comfortably and relax. When deciding on our booking, it was hard to understand the overall layout of the Room, and I felt like I couldn’t gather all the information from photos alone. So when we entered on arrival, we kept being surprised—“There’s space like this too?!” “Wow, it’s this spacious?!” It might be helpful if there were Instagram posts or similar that show an overall layout in advance. The nearby beaches were very beautiful as well, and if we travel again in summer, I’d love to come back here. Please let us stay again—thank you very much!

From the moment we arrived at the parking lot, the staff kindly guided us, and throughout our stay—from check-in at the front desk to meal times—every staff member was cheerful and welcoming, making us feel great! We stayed with our dog, and they were very kind to him as well. The facility seemed old but was very well-maintained and spotless—no issues at all! The meals were exceptional, starting with Yamagata beef for dinner and various small dishes. The breakfast buffet was of high quality with just the right variety of options. The bathwater was hot, but the spring quality was excellent! We appreciated being able to bring our dog into the dining area. If we have another opportunity, we would love to stay here again!

As it was during Golden Week, Hotels across Kochi Prefecture were fully booked, but we were able to stay here thanks to a cancellation. The Room was very spacious (12 tatami mats) and clean. Since it is often used for training camps and similar stays, the Room did not have a bath or toilet, but there was a large public bath and shared toilets near the Room, so it was not inconvenient (though some people may mind). The staff kindly and courteously helped us with an issue we had, for which we are very grateful.

We stayed for three nights with our pet. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, which was very helpful. The bathroom was spacious, and we had a comfortable stay. We would love to stay again.

I used it after the event at the dome. It's a bit of a walk from Tenjin Subway Station, but not too far and within walking distance. There are coin parking and convenience stores nearby, and it was close to Oyafuko Street. It was a plan with a ReFa hairdryer and amenities, which was very nice! I was able to spend comfortably in a cute room. I added a breakfast bento, but the rice was too soft for my taste. Sorry for being picky. Other than that, I was very satisfied, so I would like to stay again if I have the chance. Thank you very much.

Although it was a No Meals Included stay, we stayed for two nights as a parent and child on the Standard Japanese-Style Room Plan. It is located on a hill with great views. The Japanese-style room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. However, the only downside was that we couldn’t adjust the shower temperature well in the bathroom—it would sometimes get too hot or too lukewarm. Perhaps because there were few guests, it was very quiet from night until morning, and we were able to relax. The parking lot was also large and easy to use. If we have a chance to stay in the Ikoma area again, we would like to try it with meals included next time. Thank you very much.

Two adults and four children (ages 3-9) stayed for one night. Since we only used the room for sleeping, the size of the Room was not an issue. Each bed was spacious, and two children could comfortably share one bed. We appreciated the events designed for children and international guests. Although we forgot some belongings, their prompt and courteous response, including a phone call, was very helpful.

Great value for money, and the staff were very helpful. There is no bath or toilet in the Room, but the toilet and sink were just outside the Room, so it wasn’t inconvenient. The bathing facilities were shower rooms only, but some shower room doors were hard to close. Free drinks were available (water, coffee, black tea, and tea), and I also used the first-floor café for breakfast—it was delicious. The location was a bit hard to find and I got slightly lost. I would like to stay again if I have the chance.

We stayed for two nights and three days on a family trip (5 people). The Room was very spacious and easy to use, which was great. (The washer and dryer were separate, making them convenient to use.) Even though there was a convenience store on the first floor and we still chose the breakfast plan, the breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed it both mornings. For dinner, we went to a nearby izakaya-style place, which was also very good. The beach is close by, and we had a great view of the sea from the Room balcony. At night, we could clearly see the moon and stars, which we really enjoyed. One thing to note: a condominium Hotel is currently under construction along the waterfront, so we could see a crane. It may depend on the Room.

The service was simple without being excessive, and the balance of attentiveness and privacy was just right. The Room was clean with no complaints, and everything was convenient to use. During breakfast, the staff kindly spoke to us, allowing us to enjoy freshly cooked rice. It was truly delicious, and their thoughtfulness was much appreciated. I would definitely stay again if I have the chance—thank you for your hospitality!

We were very satisfied with the Onsen and yakiniku. We would like to stay here again.

Because we stayed on a weekday, there were few guests and we could relax. The Facility felt quite old, but it was kept clean. The meals were generous and very delicious.

The Room is clean and comfortable, but the air conditioning needs improvement. When the air conditioner is turned on, it blows very cold air and feels chilly. Even when the temperature setting is increased, the air remains cold.

No Meals Included, stayed with a family of six. As you can tell from the Plan, you might think this is an ultra-budget Accommodation. The location is great: there’s a supermarket and convenience stores nearby, and if you walk about 20 minutes you can reach a main road lined with well-known chain restaurants. It was a Ryokan made up of three buildings with the front desk building in between. Every building shows its age; some Rooms seem to have been renovated, but the building with the family Room—and the family Room we stayed in (a 10-tatami Japanese-style room)—has an atmosphere that some people may find off-putting. That said, the Room amenities and equipment, plus thoughtful touches for kids such as free drinks around the front desk and game facilities, along with outstanding hospitality, were impressive. For our family, the hospitality far outweighed any dissatisfaction with the Facility, and it became a Ryokan we’d like to stay at again. If I had to mention one notable complaint, it would be issues in the bath area. In the men’s bath there was one washing station that couldn’t be used; in the women’s bath there was reportedly only one washing station with hot water. (However, there are also two shower rooms available 24 hours a day separate from the baths.) Also, I personally didn’t mind it because of the low price, but there were many young guests like sports teams on trips, which apparently scared our children. This time we couldn’t use some of their signature services—such as the free alcohol bar until 10:30 p.m. or the rooftop footbath with views of Mt. Fuji—but even without those extras, for this price and level of service we would definitely like to stay again. That said as mentioned above, it may not suit those looking for a spotless Accommodation or brand-new facilities and service standards.

Great value for the price near Utsunomiya Station, with all amenities provided. There’s a staircase nearby leading to a riverside promenade, perfect for runners. Complimentary stick coffee is available, including café au lait, tea au lait, and green tea—much appreciated in these times of rising prices. I forgot my phone charger, but surprisingly the room's desk lamp had wireless charging functionality. This feature is rare in business hotels and earns high points!

The location was convenient. Breakfast portions were small—better than nothing.

The Facility may be a bit old, but it is very well maintained. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, and we really appreciated their support. We would love to stay here again. We only had coffee for breakfast, but having it free with a Multiple Night Stay is fantastic.

Thank you very much for letting us stay at such an affordable rate. I don’t think you can find a place this spacious for just under 8,000 yen for two people. It’s close to Sakuragicho Station, with plenty of restaurants nearby and a convenience store close by as well, so I’d definitely like to stay again. Thank you again.
