It is a property where you can stay quietly. The mizutaki was delicious.

The atmosphere of the Hotel gives an old impression. Some people mentioned this in the Review, and the building and interior felt like an old style. However, the Room is spacious and the price is relatively low. I felt the Hotel's consideration. I think it was better than other Hotels in terms of customer service, towels being placed in bags, and the preparation of bags for wet towels in the large public bath.

Stayed as a couple with a small dog. This accommodation felt more like a pension than a hotel. It was like visiting a seaside villa, with great ocean views from the accommodation and a relaxing stay. The meals were full of Ibaraki specialties, including natto, seafood, beef, and melon—plentiful and satisfying. It was slightly disappointing that access to the beach from the accommodation was far, as the direct stairs seemed to be deteriorating and unusable. The owner had a wonderful personality and their love for dogs made our stay enjoyable.

We stayed in a Japanese-style Room for 3 people. It was spacious enough and very relaxing. The large public bath was also great.

Affordable prices and a location right next to the slopes made for an incredibly enjoyable snowboarding and skiing experience. Thank you very much!

This was my first stay here. It feels like a condominium turned into an accommodation. During my 2-night stay, there were no major issues, but I did wonder what would happen in case of any problems since there is no front desk. 〇 Positive Points 1. It was closer to Tofukuji Station than I expected (only a 3-minute walk if you don't get stopped at the crossing). 2. The shared spaces like hallways and stairs were air-conditioned, which felt refreshing when returning from outside. 3. Most necessary amenities were provided. 4. The refrigerator, electric kettle, microwave, washing machine, bathroom dryer—all made it feel like staying in a home away from home. 5. You can soak in the bathtub while watching terrestrial TV (I didn't notice this on the first day). 6. Noise from other rooms was not much of an issue. 〇 Slightly Disappointing Points 1. The inside of the bathtub felt rough initially but became smooth after cleaning with the provided body wash towel and soap (perhaps cleaning could be improved). 2. The washing machine lid was detached with a note saying "The lid is detached but usable; parts are being ordered." However, it stopped midway during use and required some trial and error to operate (I read about this issue in Google reviews before coming; it seems the part has not arrived yet). 3. Again referring to Google reviews mentioning bedbugs—I bought insect spray as a precaution before heading out for sightseeing and found small unfamiliar bugs dead on the floor upon return (not sure if they were bedbugs). Issues like the washing machine lid or potential pests could likely be resolved with better preparation beforehand. Being just one station away from Kyoto Station and offering easy access via Keihan Line makes this accommodation incredibly convenient! I would love to stay here again!

The temperature adjustment of the bath, especially the shower, was very difficult and inconvenient to use. Additionally, the shape of the hot water coming from the shower was unique and not very pleasant. There were two TVs, which was good for a stay with five people, including children.

The issues pointed out in previous reviews have not been improved, and I felt that reviews are not being reflected. It seemed that the influence of reviews is being underestimated. Additional concerns: ○ The washroom area is too small. When washing your face, water spills below and it becomes very wet. ○ There is no way to lock from the inside apart from the auto-lock, leaving security concerns. ○ The entire room is dark with only daylight color lighting. These were the points that concerned me during this stay. Good points: ○ The futon was soft and did not cause body pain. ○ Since hair on the futon under the sheets is visible, it seems necessary to make it a priority cleaning target. ○ Strong force is required to open and close the bathroom door. Even if the door glass breaks due to force (unavoidable), it should not be a liability issue. Height adjustment with a plane, etc., should be done promptly.

A perfect base for exploring Lake Toya and Sobetsu. Although located away from the center of Lake Toya Onsen, I was intrigued to learn that this area was part of the old national highway disrupted by the 2000 eruption, with detailed explanations provided. Truly a living history and geology textbook. The room is a renovated one-room apartment with a loft, spacious enough for a comfortable stay. In fact, it felt like a waste to use it alone. The entrance is equipped with a microwave and toaster, making it convenient for bringing in your own food. Since it's a renovated one-room apartment, the bathroom is small, but I was provided with discount tickets for Lake Toya Onsen, so it wasn't an issue at all. As long as you have your own transportation, this is a great accommodation. (In my case, I traveled by road bike, but note that the 1.5km route from the center of Lake Toya Onsen to this location has a 5% incline.) The nearby commercial facilities seem to have been abandoned due to the eruption, giving a desolate impression. However, the hotel and its owner exude warmth and determination, making me hope they continue their efforts for years to come. As I love Lake Toya as a tourist destination, I would definitely stay here again.

This may be one of the highest-quality places we’ve stayed at for an affordable price for a family of four. At a typical Accommodation, even paying about three times more, you might end up with a dirtier Room. That said, it feels mainly geared toward guests from overseas.

The owner allows a comfortable level of freedom, making it feel like home. For shared rooms, the experience may depend on your roommate, but I had a wonderful encounter. Bringing your own food or dining out might be more convenient. It's very affordable, so you can enjoy a Multiple Night Stay without hesitation. The free drinks made with Beppu Benten Pond's famous water were delicious.

We stayed with two preschool children. After a long trip, the kids were irritated by the time we arrived at the Accommodation and in a bad mood. They were fussy, so we couldn’t make progress getting dinner and the bath ready…!! Our lifesaver was the Fire TV. Just for today, we made an exception—and being able to play Anpanman on YouTube helped keep them calm, so we were able to get through the day without any issues. Also, since we didn’t have to worry about other people’s eyes, it was a very satisfying stay for families with children. The building itself seems to be fairly old, but it’s well cleaned so it didn’t bother us. The route to the apartment has many side roads and narrow streets, and parking was a bit difficult for a family car. If you’re not confident driving, please be careful.

I expected there to be a bathtub because the photos showed one, so it was disappointing that there was only a shower. Other than that, the amenities were good, and there were also basic seasonings (soy sauce, salt and pepper, oil, sugar) and water. The coffee was delicious as well. It’s only a 30-second walk to the beach, so it was easy to go for a stroll. Apparently there are four buildings, and this is the only one without a bathtub.

Conveniently located near Kanazawa Station, with a coin-operated parking lot behind the building and an even more affordable one just a short walk away, making access excellent. The Room was well equipped, featuring a stylish Japanese-modern interior, and it was spacious enough for a family of four. It also had a washing machine and even an air blower for drying laundry, which would be great for longer stays. The only thing we wished could be improved was cigarette smoke drifting in. We suspect guests from the izakaya downstairs were smoking outside, and due to ventilation it seemed to enter the Room.

However, when I entered the Room and went to the bathroom to wash my hands, there was hair... Other than that, I had a comfortable stay. It would have been even better if there had been something showing the TV program guide and available channels... When I visit Kanazawa again, I’ll choose Kenrokuso if I can book it. A simple building with a slightly spacious room, including a private bath and toilet. Basic but well cleaned. For a solo male traveler who just wants to take a bath and get some sleep, it’s more than sufficient.

I stayed in a second-floor Room at Yamashita Ryokan Annex for three nights starting June 17, but I was surprised to find ants in the toilet on the third night. As a guest, I have serious concerns about the Ryokan’s hygiene management. Please ensure this does not happen again in the future.

We were a bit anxious because it was our first time renting an entire traditional-style house and we weren’t sure how the system worked, but after registering on LINE, they kindly answered even our small questions in detail, so we could stay with peace of mind. We stayed as a group of 10 across four generations (including an elderly wheelchair user, a 1-year-old child, and a dog). We enjoyed the large garden with the water pool we borrowed, brought our own ingredients for a BBQ, had fireworks at night, and cooked rice in the rice cooker for breakfast in the morning. The kitchen had most items we needed, so there were no issues (we brought our own seasonings). The place was thoroughly cleaned and very tidy. Our whole family had a great time. Thank you very much. If I had to mention anything: It would have been helpful to have handrails at the entrance and in the toilet for elderly guests. We were able to park, but it was still difficult with a HiAce van. An earlier check-in time would be appreciated. We’d love to stay again.

It was a very stylish Accommodation. We initially had trouble unlocking the door, but they handled it politely and promptly. Overall, it was a spacious and comfortable Accommodation, and we were very satisfied with our stay. This is a minor point, but since the place prioritizes style, I’d recommend it to those who value that—however, I felt some functionality may have been sacrificed, so I’ll note a few things for anyone who might care: - The bedroom lighting cannot be dimmed. It looked like it could be done with the remote, but it didn’t work. - The bathroom is not very user-friendly: there’s nowhere to put items and no chair/stool. We also couldn’t figure out how to use the ceiling shower. - There aren’t enough towels provided for a Multiple Night Stay. We used a coin laundry every day along with other laundry, but some people may find this inconvenient. That said, these are small issues. We were able to relax as a family without worrying about others around us, and we had a fulfilling time using it as our base for sightseeing around Golden Week. Thank you very much.
