I was originally planning to stay late at night after the concert, but it was postponed due to the earthquake. Since I was able to check in earlier than planned, I really enjoyed the bath, relaxation room, and more. I also had dinner at the restaurant on the 3rd floor—very tasty and generously portioned. I booked a body scrub as well and felt completely refreshed. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful, from the front desk staff at check-in to the restaurant team and the body scrub staff. At the moment, it seems Reservations can’t be made online due to the aftermath of the earthquake, but I’d love to visit again once things settle down. Thank you for a wonderful summer memory.

Arriving in Nagahama after sightseeing at Ishiyamadera past 5:30 PM and leaving the Hotel at 8 AM the next morning for the Chikubushima Cruise, we couldn't relax as much as we wanted. However, the Room was a beautifully renovated storehouse, providing a cozy and comfortable stay. Although we didn't have time to use the sauna, the large bathtub in the Room allowed us to unwind and recover from our travels. The Spanish bar recommended to us offered delicious wine and food, leaving us very satisfied. We wish we could have stayed longer!

It was my first trip to Uchiko. I’m so glad I chose this Accommodation! I was very satisfied with the kind service at the front desk, the comfortable renovated Facility, and the stylish Room. I’d even come back to Uchiko just to stay at this Accommodation again. Even though it was a cold winter season, we stayed wonderfully warm with floor heating and a kotatsu—it was perfect. Thank you for all your thoughtful hospitality.

I have used it three times in the past, and since it's a great place, I gifted it to my son and his wife this time. They were very pleased, saying the location and scenery were excellent.

We stayed as a group of three families. We borrowed a BBQ set, which was fully equipped, so all we had to prepare were the ingredients and seasonings. We enjoyed a comfortable BBQ in the spacious garden. In addition to the garden, there was a balcony with hammocks and sofas where we could relax and enjoy the beautiful starry sky at night (the countless shining stars were truly stunning!). The refrigerator was stocked with complimentary mineral water as well as various juices and coffee available for purchase, which was very convenient. The accommodation was clean and well-maintained. The bathroom area provided bath towels, hairdryers, body lotion, cream, disposable toothbrushes, as well as a washing machine with detergent and fabric softener available for use. The first floor featured a kitchen-dining-living area along with a Japanese-style room; it was very spacious and comfortable for everyone to relax together. This time we searched for an accommodation that could host many people including babies while allowing us to enjoy BBQs together—and we found this wonderful place! It gave us unforgettable memories. We would love to stay here again when visiting Awaji Island in the future. Thank you so much!

We stayed as a family. Surrounded by nature and free of unnecessary distractions, we were able to forget everyday life and truly relax. There is a walking path around Lake Shirakaba, so in the morning we enjoyed a stroll with our child while taking in the lake views. It’s recommended for those who want to take it easy without overpacking their schedule.

I stayed at Oito Bettei. Preserving the atmosphere of a historic merchant house, the accommodation has been beautifully renovated with tasteful interiors and well-equipped facilities. Once inside, it was surprisingly spacious and comfortable, offering a relaxing stay that felt like living there. The kitchen was fully equipped with stylish tableware and utensils, including two types of coffee beans, allowing us to enjoy freshly brewed coffee in the morning. Although we didn’t cook dinner as there was a delicious Chinese restaurant nearby, we prepared snacks using local black soybeans (just released that day), persimmons, sweet green peppers, muscat grapes purchased during our stroll through the castle town. Paired with wine we brought along, it made for a leisurely evening in a quiet environment without TV—perfect for unwinding from daily life. The provided tableware was also elegant; simply tossing fruits and cheese we brought with olive oil and salt available at the accommodation created an effortlessly chic dish. The facilities were excellent—the bathtub allowed for stretching out comfortably; toilets and sinks were available on both floors; hairdryers were conveniently placed throughout—making preparations stress-free. If I may suggest one improvement: providing amenities such as cleansing products, face wash, or lotion would be appreciated. There are no convenience stores within walking distance and shops close early in the area. It’s advisable to prepare your shopping beforehand. However, this slight inconvenience added to escaping daily busyness and enjoying simple yet extraordinary moments. The staff were incredibly kind and offered various suggestions for how to spend our second day or places to visit nearby—making it an enriching experience overall. Tamba Sasayama is filled with delicious food alongside its serene townscape and warm-hearted people—a truly wonderful place. This is an accommodation I’d love to stay at repeatedly—a perfect base for exploring Tamba Sasayama! Thank you for such a lovely time—I’ll definitely return!

The courteous service left the most lasting impression. In addition to the excellent location, the facility was well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. The amenity bar offered a wide variety of items, including cooling foot sheets and face packs, which were much appreciated. Complimentary coffee was available on the front desk floor. With traditional Japanese elements like tatami mats and shoji screens as part of the interior design, many guests were foreigners (mainly Westerners). During my stay, I heard more English than Japanese, which added a travel-like atmosphere even though I stayed for practical purposes. It was a hotel I would love to use again. Thank you very much!

It was a very convenient location for sightseeing on the east side of Kyoto. The mini kitchen, microwave, and toaster provided in the Room were helpful for preparing breakfast and light meals. The atmosphere of the Room and the bed were also comfortable. I would like to use it again if I have another opportunity.

We stayed with four friends. Other than parking, we had no issues, and it was very affordable and excellent as an Accommodation. It’s also convenient, with the teahouse district and other areas just a short drive away. Below are the good points and areas for improvement. [Good points] - No check-in/check-out procedures required - Air conditioning on each floor - Futons and bedding were already laid out - Careful follow-up by email, etc. - The interior has a traditional feel and is clean [Areas for improvement] - The parking location is hard to find It would be helpful to have a map showing the exact parking location in advance by email or on the website.

I am completely satisfied with the hospitality of the staff, the Facility, and the meals! If I had to say, the only drawback is the access. You have to drive on a considerable mountain road for a long time... However, because it is in such a location, the night sky was the most beautiful and moving I have seen in my 40 years of life!

We stayed in a trailer house for the first time as a family of five. The interior was spacious and long, equipped with a kitchen, sofa, bunk bed, shower, toilet, and refrigerator. (It would be nice to have more plates.) Initially, the air conditioner was noisy, but once it cooled down to about 25 degrees Celsius, it became quiet. Outside, there was an open-air bath with a fence (enough for three people) and a playground for children. There was also a convenience store nearby which was very helpful. At night we had BBQ; however, we struggled to light the charcoal—it would be great if there were more fire starters available. Even with small children making noise, the distance between units provided peace of mind. The manager was very friendly and made our stay comfortable. We even forgot some items but they kindly sent them back to us—thank you so much! It was more affordable than staying at a Hotel and still enjoyable. Next time we'd love to try staying in one of the private rental units!

Thank you for hosting us with the yakiniku set included. Although it rained and some of our plans changed, we had a very fulfilling day with the tent sauna, cold plunge bath, table tennis, and BBQ, and we were very satisfied. We would love to stay again.

We used this place for our family’s first glamping trip. The dome-shaped tent was beautiful with an ocean view, and it came with a shower and toilet. We also enjoyed the Onsen, and the kids were thrilled. We would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

For his birthday trip! We were looking for a stylish cottage with a kitchen, and he loves Onsen too! The kitchen had various utensils, including a rice cooker. They even sold small portions of rice (enough for two servings) at the front desk, so we enjoyed a Japanese-style breakfast the next morning. The Onsen was free-flowing and had that classic Onsen aroma! We ended up soaking in it three times! With a car, the supermarket wasn’t far either, making it all the more memorable. It would have been even better if there was a coffee maker, so I’d rate the room amenities 4 out of 5!

We visited for our wedding anniversary trip and brought our dog along. The place was very well-maintained and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious barbecue meal.

The owner is very kind. The interior and furnishings are thoughtfully designed, and the Accommodation is very clean. It’s also within walking distance of the beach, which is very convenient.

The location was not ideal for bringing children... However, the interior was very stylish, spacious, and nice. Since it’s new, everything was sparkling clean. I was thinking of visiting again, but I was surprised to see the price suddenly go up (+_+). Maybe it was an opening campaign or something? Sorry to say, but at the current price, I might choose a Business Hotel instead.
