Conveniently located near Saito-Miyakonojo Station and Hiroguchi Bus Stop, making it easy to find. The building is new, and the rooms and facilities are very clean. The "Tabibito no Yu" on the first floor is a natural Onsen, very clean with a large bath where you can relax and unwind. Breakfast offers both Japanese and Western options with a good variety and delicious taste. Within a 5-minute walk, there are many izakayas (Japanese pubs) and yakiniku restaurants, so there's no need to worry about dinner. I visited an izakaya where I enjoyed Miyazaki beef, pork, and chicken at an incredible value not seen in Tokyo. If I have another chance to visit Miyakonojo, I would love to stay here again!

Please remove your shoes upon arrival; guests generally walk around in socks. I loved it from that moment on! The room felt modern, was quite spacious, and very clean—so impressive. All-you-can-drink is available from check-in until 21:00. I don’t drink alcohol myself, but there was a great selection and my companion was very happy. I was a bit disappointed that the “milk” seemed more like a milk beverage, but there were plenty of other drinks. It felt wonderful to enjoy drinks while soaking in the footbath. For dinner we chose the top course, and it was my first time having such amazing meat!!! The salad bar was also very satisfying. The foreign staff member who explained everything to us seemed sweet and new at the job—I couldn’t help but want to cheer her on. Her smile was lovely! Not just her—everyone on staff was kind and had great smiles. There are two baths: the “Beauty Bath” and the “Health Bath.” The Beauty Bath is definitely more exciting. There were ReFa shower heads with a mist setting, and the hair dryers were Panasonic and ReFa as well. It was also nice that you can borrow shampoo. I’d seen reviews saying there wasn’t much for breakfast, but I was satisfied! The curry had a Japanese-style flavor and was delicious. The croquettes were great too—I ate a lot. I also loved being able to eat lots of cherry tomatoes at both dinner and breakfast (I wonder where they’re from). Maybe it just happened to be that way during our stay, but most guests seemed older, and since there aren’t many rooms overall, it felt calm and relaxing—which I really liked. I’d love to stay again. It’s also nice that you can play park golf—I didn’t try it this time, but maybe I should have!

I stayed here on a solo trip to Mt. Yoshino in Nara Prefecture to recharge. The staff were cheerful and kind, and the inn was wonderful, filled with warm hospitality. Every dish made with plenty of local ingredients was delicious, and the careful explanations when serving made the meal even more enjoyable. Although I was traveling alone, I truly appreciated having dinner served in my room at night—it allowed me to relax and savor everything at my own pace without worrying about others. Breakfast was served in a large hall in a traditional style, with tables and chairs set on tatami mats; it had a charming atmosphere that felt very special. The breakfast side dishes were all so tasty that they went perfectly with rice—I ended up having seconds. The weather was also on our side, and the open-air bath felt absolutely amazing; all my daily fatigue melted away. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. I would love to visit again in another season.

I previously stayed here with my 4-year-old daughter, and while I was a little nervous about our first trip with a young child, we had a wonderful time—delicious meals and a clean Room, and we were very satisfied throughout our stay. This time, my husband was able to join us. The meals were different from last time but just as delicious as ever, and since we chose the largest Room, my daughter was thrilled. What made me especially happy was that the washing area in the women’s bath has been expanded! All of the staff were very kind, and we had a comfortable stay. We will definitely stay again as a family.

This was my first stay, and the Accommodation was very clean and well maintained. The women-only floor also made me feel safe and comfortable during my stay.

I visited Shibu Onsen during the quieter period just after the Obon holidays. It was a very clean Onsen Ryokan, with the Room, amenities, and baths all well maintained. The level of service was just right, and I had a comfortable stay. As for the meals, I thought the adult dishes were good, but I wish there had been more creativity in the children’s meals. They consisted of fried foods such as sausages, frozen chicken, and French fries, and my child hardly ate any of it.

This was our first trip with our Pacific parrotlet. After researching online, we found this Hotel recommended as a must-visit spot, so we decided to stay here. As this stay also celebrated our wedding anniversary, we arranged a cake, and we were pleasantly surprised when the Hotel provided sparkling wine. Thank you very much for your thoughtful hospitality. It became a truly memorable trip.

The Room also has a private Onsen bath, and there are four private baths as well—an impressive level of facilities for a pension. The meals offered many dishes, were beautifully colorful, and were very satisfying. We felt thoughtful attention to detail throughout. This is an Accommodation we’d like to return to. We requested an after-bath beer at check-in; we probably should have put it in the refrigerator. It would have been nice to have local craft beer, and we only realized later that we could exchange the in-house wear size, so we rated it 4—but overall it’s basically all 5s. We could also see Lake Inawashiro from the Room.

This was my first stay, and I felt it was a perfect place—comfortable in every way! Even if we needed anything, we could quickly buy it with PayPay. We could play our favorite music and watch streaming services on the screen, which made it an amazing experience and a wonderful memory. The sauna and pool were also well maintained and fantastic. We chose this Accommodation after seeing photos and Reviews saying the food is incredibly delicious. We travel twice a week, and among the many Accommodations we’ve stayed at, the meals here were truly top-class. It really felt like we came to stay at an Accommodation run by a chef. We’re a bit shy, but they spoke with us in a way that wasn’t too close or too distant, so we had a wonderful time. This time it was just the two of us, but next time we’d like to bring our parents as well.

The moment I stepped into the inn, a wonderful fragrance greeted me and I felt excited right away. With large windows and plenty of greenery, it’s a lovely space. The room was very clean, and because there are no partitions, it felt even more spacious than expected. I have many dietary restrictions and there are items I can’t eat in kaiseki cuisine, but they were very accommodating, so I was able to enjoy everything deliciously until the end. I also enjoyed the hot springs many times, which helped melt away my daily fatigue. Thank you very much.

We truly enjoyed an elegant time as a couple while traveling with our pet. The Accommodation Fee was higher because we had a pet, but staying at the Hotel we had long dreamed of was wonderful, and we made the happiest memories. Our Room had an open-air bath and a bathing tub for dogs as well, and after filling it with five buckets of Onsen water, our pet looked warm and very comfortable. Before going to bed, we soaked once more in the Room’s open-air bath while watching a subtitled foreign film on the Room’s TV through the glass window, enjoying an extraordinary sense of luxury. We also loved the meals—Japanese cuisine is our favorite—and we were both very satisfied. I hope to visit again someday, and next time I would definitely like to stay in the main building where dogs are not allowed—those lingering feelings remain with me. I had been looking forward to my stay at Manpei Hotel, but after arriving I became unwell and developed a fever over 38°C. Even so, the staff were incredibly kind—lending me a thermometer and promptly bringing an ice pack and ice. They also kindly changed all of my meals to room service, allowing me to rest and eat comfortably in my room. Although my long-awaited stay turned out differently than expected, I truly appreciated the thoughtful care and warm hospitality, especially while I wasn’t feeling well. Unfortunately, I ended up spending most of the time in the room this visit, but my husband was very pleased and said the in-room hot spring bath was wonderful. While I wasn’t able to fully enjoy the hotel in perfect health, the kindness of the staff is what stayed with me most. Next time, I would love to return when I’m feeling well and take my time enjoying this historic hotel and its dining. Thank you very much for everything.

The room was clean, and it was a lovely property where I could relax and truly enjoy my stay. Dinner was very filling, and I was extremely satisfied. After dinner, there was an event where complimentary sake was served, so I enjoyed comparing different varieties. It was scary when three large centipedes appeared one after another at night, but when I called the front desk they responded immediately, which made me feel reassured. All of the staff were kind and had wonderful smiles, making this a truly enjoyable trip. I also enjoyed the large public bath, the in-room bath, and the courtyard garden—staying here was fantastic. We stayed for one night during the Obon holiday period. The front desk staff warmly welcomed us. The Room felt very new and was impeccably clean, so we had a very comfortable stay. It was great to have both yukata and pajamas available. They also quickly exchanged the yukata size for us, which was very helpful. We headed to the bath right away. The large public bath was very clean, and we loved that the shower kept running without having to press the button repeatedly! Bathing while looking at the castle was wonderful. The hair dryers in the changing area were ReFa. The muscat vinegar drink in the post-bath lounge was so delicious that even our children—who usually find fruit vinegar drinks too sour—went back for seconds. Since our Room included lounge access, we used the massage chair there, enjoyed some drinks, and felt refreshed. Also, the bed in our Room was incredibly comfortable—I may have slept better than I ever have while traveling. I think it’s a great fit for those who like pillows that are fluffy, soft, and low-profile. The next morning we had breakfast at Mimasaka Kitchen. We already knew it had a good reputation, but it exceeded our expectations—the lightly seasoned side dishes and wide variety of desserts that weren’t overly sweet were more than satisfying. Even better were the onigiri made by one of the staff members—perfectly light and fluffy—and our whole family couldn’t stop praising them. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with this Accommodation. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us during our stay.

We stayed for two nights. The moment we entered the entrance, we were greeted by a soothing aroma, and the lobby was stylish as well. The Room was spotless and very comfortable, and the amenities were excellent. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and we also enjoyed afternoon tea by the pool. We tried a variety of dishes and drinks. Above all, every staff member welcomed us with a smile, and we truly appreciated your thoughtful hospitality. The Room had a beautiful Tokyo Skytree view. The bathroom was separate from the toilet, so I could relax comfortably. Breakfast was delicious, especially the orange juice and omelet. Still, I was surprised that there were so many foreign guests.

I chose this place after hearing that the Horyu-ji storytelling tour was fascinating, and it was even more enjoyable than I imagined. If I hadn’t known anything, I might have just walked around for a few dozen minutes and been done, but the guide’s talk—full of knowledge and humor—made the two-hour tour fly by. The room was comfortable, and all the staff were courteous, so I had a very pleasant stay. It also made me realize how nice it is to take your time exploring a single temple in depth.

This was my first time staying here, and I’m glad I got to enjoy so many extraordinary experiences. The coastal drive in a Rolls-Royce—my first time riding in one—and the nighttime laser message show were beautiful and truly moving. From the terrace, I was soothed by the view of the Pacific Ocean just beyond and the sound of the waves. The food was also delicious. All of the staff were friendly and very kind. I made my next Reservation during my stay, so I’m looking forward to coming back again. Thank you very much.
