I stayed for one night on March 29. I chose March because it was just before the spiny lobster fishing ban. This time I booked a luxurious spa Plan, so it was pricey, but it was absolutely worth the cost. The cuisine, spa, Onsen, Room Facilities, and service were all top-tier. As expected from HIRAMATSU, every dish was delicious. The dish made with the spiny lobster head felt a bit heavy for me, but everything else was perfect. The spiny lobster bisque at breakfast was outstanding. The bread and butter at both dinner and breakfast were also excellent. The spa was wonderful—comparable to the Mandarin Hotel’s spa. The Onsen and Room Facilities were also superb; there is nothing to complain about. Service from the manager, head chef, staff, and spa team was flawless. I’d like to return next year during abalone season. I recommend avoiding weekends at the end of March. That’s when F1 Japanese Grand Prix qualifying and the race are held at Suzuka, so Nagoya Station gets extremely crowded and nearby roads are heavily congested. On top of that, Ise Jingu Naiku Shrine was also packed due to a yokozuna dedication sumo event—but I consider it a good experience overall.

The food, drinks, and hospitality were outstanding, and we were extremely satisfied. Every dish looked beautiful and tasted amazing, and there were also unique alcoholic beverages you can only enjoy here. All drinks were free, which was a delightful surprise. The staff’s warm hospitality was wonderful as well, and we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It was a little disappointing that there was no open-air bath, but the Onsen was excellent; we enjoyed the large public bath as well as three private family baths, each with its own charm. On our way home, we received photos from dinner and freshly baked, delicious croissants as souvenirs. We are grateful for the heartfelt hospitality until the very end. Next time, we would love to try the winter and spring dishes too.

I stayed with my daughter at this accommodation. I chose it after reading reviews about its delicious cuisine, and it exceeded my expectations. The steamed abalone and simmered golden eye snapper recommended by the hostess, as well as the sashimi and other dishes, were truly delicious and visually stunning. There are three baths available for private use, allowing us to relax at our own pace. I would definitely love to visit again!

It was a truly wonderful Accommodation where we could stay comfortable throughout our visit. Everything was impeccably clean, and from the moment we stepped into the Room, we felt at ease. The meals we had been looking forward to were outstanding in both presentation and taste for both dinner and breakfast, and we enjoyed them very much. The baths were also a highlight—not only the open-air private hot spring bath with its wonderful sense of openness, but also the cypress bath in the Room, where we could stretch out to our heart’s content while surrounded by the soothing scent of wood. Everything about our stay was excellent and became a great memory. We would definitely like to stay again. One last question: the towels smelled so lovely and were very relaxing! If you don’t mind, would it be possible to tell us which fabric softener you use?

For the past ten years or so, my wife and I have been traveling all over Japan by car. This time, taking advantage of Silver Week, we were planning a trip to Kyushu and realized that in the southwestern part of Kyushu we had only visited Koshikijima with our children a long time ago. When I searched on IKYU, I found Villa Hikaruze. We were contacted to confirm our arrival time, and I wondered why at first, but when we arrived at Hikaruze, the Onsen bath had been filled in time for our arrival. It was two days of wonderful hospitality—perfect for seniors like us. Recently we’ve enjoyed visiting remote islands such as Goto, Iki, Rebun, and Rishiri, but Hikaruze’s location was even better. The weather was great, and we could see as far as the Amakusa islands in the distance. As for what this old couple looks forward to most—meals—the sashimi and meat were the best we’ve ever had. Since we don’t have much time left at our age, we’re looking forward to returning soon with our children. Thank you very much.

We stayed in a top-floor room. This hotel truly takes care of everything. Even though it was raining, we enjoyed the open-air bath with a sky-high view, the large public bath, and the in-room hot spring. The variety at the dinner buffet was unlike anything I’ve ever seen. The made-to-order Mont Blanc prepared in the morning was delicious too. The staff were very courteous. The amenities were also exceptionally well stocked, and I debated buying the hot-spring-made cosmetics at the gift shop but decided against it—however, they were so good that I ended up ordering them online. It’s a hotel where one night just isn’t enough. I’d love to book again for my birthday next year! We’ll be back.

This Hotel is truly convenient, as it is close to Nagoya Station. The Room was clean and well equipped with everything I needed, the bed was large, and I really enjoyed the large-screen smart TV—overall I was very satisfied. The breakfast selection isn’t as extensive as at larger Hotels, but I could also try Nagoya specialties and left feeling full. If I may make one request, there is nothing to hold onto in the bathroom such as grab bars, so adding something would make it easier to stand up. I would definitely like to stay here again whenever I have business in Nagoya.

This was my third stay. The location is convenient, the rooms are well cleaned, and it was very comfortable. The breakfast had a wide variety of options and was delicious. The large public bath also seemed to be cleaned regularly, so I could relax comfortably. I would like to stay here again when I visit Kyoto.

It was a truly wonderful hotel. I visited Kanazawa with my elderly mother, and booking a hotel in such a great location surrounded by sightseeing spots was absolutely the right choice. Getting around by taxi was smooth and easy.\nBefore check-in we arrived early, but we were promptly shown to our room as they told us it was already ready, which made my mother very happy.\nThe carpets and wall art throughout the hotel were exactly our style and really lifted our spirits.\nWe were also captivated by the Kutani ware mugs and teacups provided in the room. It made us feel, “We’re really traveling in Kanazawa!” and we were so pleased.\nThe coffee tasted especially delicious in those cups, but it was a little disappointing that the same ones weren’t available in the gift shop.\nInstead, we bought Kutani ware as souvenirs at a Kutani shop on our way home.\nFor dinner, since I was traveling with my elderly mother, I had requested seats as close to the buffet tables as possible, but they kindly prepared a private room nearby for us.\nThanks to that, we were able to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace.\nThank you very much.\nI truly appreciate the staff’s thoughtful attention to detail.\nWe were very satisfied with both the quality and quantity of everything—from Kanazawa specialties like jibuni stew and Kanazawa oden to nodoguro sushi and dessert.\nHere as well, many beautiful pieces of pottery such as Kutani ware were used for small plates, allowing us to enjoy the food visually too.\nI rated the facilities 4 stars only because my elderly mother felt that overall the interior of the hotel seemed rather dark—this is just our personal impression.\nAfter checkout we took the shuttle bus to the station; it was a large sightseeing coach and very comfortable.\nThank you for taking such good care of us.\nWe would love to stay again.

The view from the room is simply spectacular! Suruga Bay, Mt. Fuji, and the night scenery are all amazing! I turned off the lights in the room and fully enjoyed the night view. The French dinner was outstanding—every dish was exquisite. Even though I was traveling solo, the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. For breakfast, I had a Japanese set meal, which was also excellent. A perfect stay with nothing to complain about—I’d love to come back again.

Thank you for your hospitality. It was a very comfortable stay. All of the staff, including international team members, were kind and full of genuine hospitality, always wanting to help. As someone from Kyoto who’s used to a more reserved style, it felt refreshingly warm. Time seemed to pass slowly and peacefully. Even though I missed the deadline for the birthday plate (it had to be requested three days in advance), and some information about the hotel facilities was not quite accurate when I asked, none of that mattered because the stay was so pleasant. The breakfast and dinner buffets were also delicious. I stayed around the time of the Mid-Autumn Moon, yet the starry sky was still beautiful—so it made sense that this area is known as a great spot for night photography. Next time, I’d love to visit around the new moon. The planetarium also felt uniquely Miyakojima and was wonderful. It was a spacious property, and I had four days of complete relaxation—both mentally and physically.

Everything was wonderful—the hot springs, the food, and the hospitality. I’ve had kinmedai (splendid alfonsino) several times in Izu, but the simmered kinmedai at this ryokan was the best. I was surprised to see my daughter, who usually isn’t a fan of simmered fish, asking for seconds. The mini rice bowl—topping white rice with the sauce and fish—was absolutely worth making room for! Unfortunately, we didn’t have good weather and couldn’t do much sightseeing, but being able to stay at Hamanoyu made it a trip our whole family was truly happy with. We’d love to come again. Thank you very much.

This was my first stay here. I had dinner at the restaurant on the first floor. The Yamayuri pork was tender and delicious, and everything else—like the rosemary-scented potatoes and the fresh fish carpaccio—was excellent as well. All of the staff were smiling, pleasant, and courteous, so I had a truly enjoyable time. They had heard from the front desk that it was my husband’s birthday, and I was happy they wrote a congratulatory message on the dessert plate. In the morning, we chose the bento-style breakfast on the 12th floor and were very satisfied. The fresh juice was delicious, and having breakfast while looking out at Yamashita Park and the Bay Bridge right in front of us was wonderful. The room also had chic interior decor that felt very relaxing. The TV was impressively large, which made it even more enjoyable. I’d like to come back from time to time to enjoy a special getaway.

All staff are kind and welcoming, and the “welcome home” atmosphere feels wonderfully comforting. Dinner and breakfast are both delicious. You can fully enjoy the luxury of having the view from the open-air bath in your Room all to yourself. I would love to visit again.

We stayed one night in the Roman-style room. The room was spacious and very clean, and we were able to relax completely. The large public bath was also spacious. Having an open-air bath in the room was truly the best—I ended up soaking in it again and again. Every dish we tried was delicious, especially the simmered golden eye snapper and the fried chicken. All of the staff were very courteous. My husband surprised me with a spa treatment. Since I didn’t know in advance, I’m embarrassed to say my heels were quite rough, but a staff member noticed and kindly provided a thorough foot pack as well. It helped relieve all my fatigue, and we had a wonderful time. It seems there is also a pool, so next time I’d like to bring our grandchildren and visit again.

I stayed here at the end of my trip to Hokkaido. The places I stayed before were wonderful as well, but this Tokachigawa Onsen Daiichi Hotel was outstanding. Every dish at the buffet was delicious. I wanted to try more, but I got full and couldn’t eat everything, which I still regret a little. The kamameshi rice was especially good, and the meat was excellent too—in fact, everything I tried tasted great. When I went to the Onsen early in the morning (just after 5 a.m.), I saw staff baking bread. I had some at breakfast, and it was also very tasty. The moor Onsen had a gentle natural scent and a wonderfully silky feel on the skin; one night wasn’t enough. This time I couldn’t take my time sightseeing around Tokachi, so I would love to come back again next year. More than anything, what left me with such a great impression of the Hotel was an employee at the souvenir shop “Tamatebako.” The trainee wearing a training name badge had an amazing smile and provided excellent service. When I told them how pleasant they were, they responded with another lovely smile. Of course it comes down to personal qualities as well, but it also made me feel that the Hotel’s management philosophy must be excellent for staff like this to grow here. All of the other staff were wonderful too, and it reminded me that not only the Onsen and food but also people’s hospitality is what truly shapes a trip. Thank you for helping me make such great memories—I would like to stay again next year as well.

This was our fifth stay at UMI, and this time my spouse and I were able to relax and enjoy some delicious drinks on our own, without our children, who are now in their third year of working. Thank you for the towel with the Kaze no Kaori logo to commemorate our fifth visit. The dried horse mackerel for breakfast was as delicious as always, so we bought five to take home. Our children also said they would like to visit UMI again, so we plan to return next March as a family of four. We look forward to seeing all the staff again.

I believe this was my second stay. The Room and the in-room bath were both spacious and very comfortable. With coffee, water, and other amenities provided, I was able to relax in the Room. The toiletries, such as lotion, were also well stocked. I was especially impressed that I received water again on the second night. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options to suit different preferences. The salad was fresh and delicious as well. The sausage I had on the third morning was so good that I regretted not having it on the second day too. This time I had work during the day, so I didn’t have time to use the lounge facilities, but next time I’d like to come for sightseeing and take it easy. It was very convenient—I could easily get to the restaurants inside the station area, and the subway station is also close by.

The view of Matsushima from the Room was as beautiful as a painting. The meals offered a wide variety, and we were able to enjoy local flavors. My husband, who loves drinks, was very happy with the wide selection of alcohol. The view from the large public bath was also wonderful, and the amenities were well stocked. I only wished the Room had a few more amenities like those in the large public bath. We would love to stay again.

The Room ambiance, the meals, and the hospitality of the staff—everything was absolutely satisfying. In particular, the dinner tableware and presentation felt wonderfully special and made us feel truly pampered. We also booked an aroma massage, and we were very pleased with the therapist’s professional service (playing soothing music in our Room and carefully explaining each oil’s benefits).
