We always stay here when traveling with three generations, and we truly appreciate your hospitality. (It also feels nostalgic because my father worked here back in the Kanpo days!) Since the renovation, it has become even more comfortable for children, and we made more wonderful memories again this time. As part of the summer vacation program, our kids were thrilled right after arrival with the cardboard maze and the guests-only soft-serve ice cream and ice pops! At dinner, there were also summer-only treats like chocolate bananas and shaved ice—like a fun festival. They were set up so they couldn’t be seen from our seats at first, so after the kids finished their meal and we told them about it, they happily went to get some. We really like that both breakfast and dinner are served at the table rather than buffet-style, so we can relax and enjoy our meal. The dishes used Yaizu sashimi and rice, and we could feel the care put into the food. And we were absolutely full!!! The Onsen water quality has been great for years, and my mother and daughter were able to relax together. We stayed in a Room with an open-air bath, and had a welcome little visitor (a cicada)! The kids loved it (it was gone by morning). The staff at the front desk and shop were kind and helpful as well—this is a Hotel where we can feel safe and comfortable. If there were a Room that could accommodate six people, that would be perfect; from next time we will need to book two rooms. We would be very happy if there were an option where everyone could stay together. Thank you again for your continued support.

I seem to have dropped my key card in the large public bath changing room, and I couldn’t get back in. When I contacted the front desk, they responded immediately and were very helpful.

We chose this property because we were looking for a well-reviewed, reasonably priced place around Karuizawa that allows dogs, has a dog run, includes breakfast, can accommodate our family of three, and is conveniently located for sightseeing. Just as the Reviews said, the staff were kind and attentive, there were plenty of items for our dog, we enjoyed a lovely Room, and the breakfast was truly delicious. We also had a great time sightseeing in Karuizawa—this villa is an excellent choice that exceeded its price, and we would love to stay again!

When I made the Reservation, it was during the Obon holiday period, so only a semi-double room was available. However, I requested a change to a twin room. At check-in, a cancellation became available and you were able to accommodate the change. I truly had a comfortable and pleasant night. Thank you very much.

At the breakfast buffet, the chef prepared dashimaki tamago and onigiri on the spot (you can choose the fillings), and I was happy to enjoy them freshly made. Today’s miso soup had clams in it, with a rich clam broth—it was delicious and comforting. There was a wide variety of dishes and desserts, including konjac-based items and Ota’s famous yakisoba, so choosing was fun and exciting. I’d love to stay again.

Nothing was lacking, and both the in-room bath and the large public bath were clean and easy to use. In fact, the large public bath is more than well equipped, with both a sauna and a stone sauna. It’s a simple Hotel, but there’s nothing missing, the price is reasonable, and I’m very satisfied. Next time I’d like to try the breakfast.

The Facility and amenities were better than those of similar hotels. The front desk staff, while working hard to assist many inbound guests, also provided me with excellent service, including luggage storage and courteous assistance. However, there was one disappointing point: when I called at night to ask about room cleaning and towel replacement during a Multiple Night Stay, there was no response at first when the phone was answered. When I spoke to ask my question, I received an unfriendly reply, which left me wondering what was going on.

It’s a wonderful Hotel. The cleaning was thorough, and the breakfast was delicious. There are plenty of shopping options nearby, and we were able to relax in a lovely Room. All the front desk staff were very kind—almost to the point of making us feel undeserving. We will visit again.

Every year, I stay near Sannomiya, where the Port Liner station is, for a live show at the Portopia Hotel. The area around Sannomiya Station felt like a maze due to redevelopment, but this Hotel was in an easy-to-find location, which really helped. Since I have the Hotel app, I was able to use the self check-in machine as well, and everything went smoothly. Breakfast had a great reputation and met my expectations—there was a wide variety of dishes and it leaned more toward Japanese-style options. For me, it was perfect because I prefer not to have anything too heavy in the morning. The Akashiyaki was also delicious. There was just one disappointing thing. It wasn’t about the Hotel itself, but after midnight (past 12:00 a.m.), someone was running around in the hallway and repeatedly slamming doors. It was extremely inconsiderate, but there wasn’t much I could do since I couldn’t exactly confront them. Other than that, it was quiet and comfortable. I hope to stay again next time. To the staff who work late into the night—thank you for your hard work. Thank you very much.

Conveniently located right next to Hakata Station, this Business Hotel is excellent in every respect. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including Fukuoka specialties, and everything was delicious.

We stayed here to celebrate my mother’s 88th birthday, as she has grown older and sightseeing has become physically difficult for her. There were some misunderstandings on both sides regarding the Room, but thank you very much for your heartfelt attention to every detail. Thanks to you, my mother was delighted and said she was able to enjoy a truly wonderful birthday. This was all thanks to the entire staff. Thank you again. We would love to stay again during the autumn foliage season.

The Room was small, but the Onsen was excellent. The late-night soba was also delicious.

We couldn’t hear pets from other rooms, and our dog seemed to relax and enjoy the stay. Having a private open-air bath made it easy to use at any time, which was wonderful. The meals were delicious, but since there were many hot pot dishes on a warm day, we felt that a few more chilled options might have been nice—overall, we were very satisfied.

A welcome drink was provided. You could choose any one drink you liked. I've never seen such a service before. The staff who assisted us were very kind. I'm glad I stayed here!

Shizukatei True to its name, this Accommodation was wonderfully quiet and relaxing, far removed from any hustle and bustle, and surrounded by peaceful rural scenery. The road to the Accommodation was a narrow farm lane where passing other cars required care, but clear signs were placed at key points, and as we got closer, banners guided us along the route. Soba-an I had high expectations for the 80/20 soba served at dinner, but it easily surpassed them—it was exceptionally delicious. In addition, many dishes were prepared using plenty of seasonal vegetables, carefully cooked and beautifully presented. We enjoyed a wide variety of flavors and textures, as well as the visual appeal. Breakfast was also an excellent Japanese set meal with plenty of vegetables and a generous number of dishes. Oshu Hiraizumi Onsen The free-flowing natural Onsen water was a little hot, but we thoroughly enjoyed it together with the open-air bath. Finally, what impressed me most during this stay was the staff. From check-in to being shown to our Room; since dinner was served in-room, their smooth service and efficient delivery; after the meal, clearing everything away and then laying out the futons with equally outstanding efficiency; checkout was completed without any waiting time, and they even came outside to see us off afterward. This was our first visit during Golden Week as part of a family trip service day, and my family was truly happy and satisfied. We were deeply impressed by the professionalism of everyone involved.

I stayed for four nights, and the Hotel was clean, the Room was spacious, and I had a very comfortable stay. I also appreciated that the bathtub was a bit larger than usual. The Millet snacks I received when I opted out of housekeeping were a nice touch as well. I would love to stay here again when I visit Kochi. Thank you very much.

Due to the typhoon, train service to the nearest station, Izukyu-Shimoda Station, was suspended. After we contacted the Accommodation, they came to pick us up at a station where trains were still running. A welcome drink (including alcohol) was also prepared, and we felt relieved when we finally arrived. Above all, the meals were outstanding—we truly enjoyed the seafood. We are grateful for their thoughtful care in every way.

This was our last trip of the year. We were fully satisfied with this Ryokan in every way—the cuisine, the Onsen, and the kind hospitality of the staff. There was only one small issue, but it was addressed promptly. We would like to continue coming here in the future.

Facing the Kanmon Straits, it was soothing to watch the ships passing through all the time. The meals were carefully selected and delicious. It was also great to be able to see the straits from the bath; however, the bath was quite crowded with many local residents, which surprised me a little. As a request, I think it would be relaxing if you could use some aroma fragrance or incense in the corridor where the Room is located.
