The room was very nice, and the spa and view were excellent.

The relaxing Facility, the charming Room, the wonderful cuisine, and the silky Onsen I could stay in forever—everything was exceptional. The staff’s warm smiles and attentive hospitality made it even better. This is the first Accommodation where I truly didn’t want to leave because it felt so comfortable. I would love to visit again. Although the building and Room are not the newest, the staff’s thoughtful hospitality—clearly reflecting excellent training—felt genuinely warm rather than scripted. The food was also stylish and delicious, and we had a very comfortable stay.

Everything was excellent. Thank you for accommodating my allergies at both breakfast and dinner. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, and I truly enjoyed the food. The Room was clean, and being able to smoke on the terrace made my stay very comfortable. The staff were all very kind and attentive, and the private open-air bath with its spectacular view as well as the in-Room open-air bath were incredibly relaxing—making it a wonderful holiday.

Ever since I happened to stay here on a trip to Wakayama, I’ve been coming back regularly. This is already my third stay. I get the sense it used to be a love hotel, but in any case, it’s extremely clean and comfortable. For this level of quality, the value for money is outstanding. Highlights: The Room is very spacious and spotless. The toilet and bathroom are separate, and the bath is large enough to soak properly in the tub. The bed is double-sized and roomy. Amenities are well stocked. I still haven’t found any downsides lol. I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m back in Wakayama.

It was an absolutely amazing stay. I was truly impressed by the outstanding, well-equipped Facility that anticipated every need. The staff were very considerate with the luggage we sent in advance, prepared a pool for the children, and even when an accident happened, their first words were to check on us. Talking with friends around the barbecue, setting off fireworks with the kids under the sunset sky, and looking up at the stars late at night—every moment became a wonderful memory. My only regret is that because it was so hot, we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor facilities outside the cottage, such as basketball and the trampoline. We will definitely visit again next year. This was our third year and third stay here. Whenever we visit Okinawa each year, our Accommodation on Kouri Island is always Felice Villa Suite—no other choice. The staff’s service, hospitality, and Room quality are all perfect, making this a villa you can enjoy from check-in onward even with children. Also, the washer and dryer are separate units and very powerful, so staying at Felice for one night in the middle of the trip lets us get all our laundry done quickly—something we truly appreciate when traveling with kids. The nearest convenience store and supermarket are a bit of a drive away, but it’s no problem if you stop by before check-in. There are also many restaurants about 5–10 minutes away by car, so it’s not inconvenient at all. The complimentary drinks in the refrigerator were well stocked, and I was genuinely surprised to see there were so many varieties of Orion beer! The popular Junglia is also easy to reach—about 20 minutes by car—and we were able to finally visit as planned last year. We’ll be back again next year. Thank you as always!

This is our third year in a row staying here, and thanks to you we were able to relax again this time. The delicious sweets and tea served upon arrival, the beautiful greenery of the trees visible throughout the property, the clean and comfortable Room, the spacious open-air bath in the Room, the large public baths and private baths—each with its own unique atmosphere—and the meals that were a delight to look at and, of course, tasted wonderful—everything was outstanding. We are also grateful to all of your staff for their consistently pleasant hospitality. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Dear Kamon Team, To celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary, we stayed here for the first time, choosing your Accommodation based on Reviews around the Hakone area—and it turned into the best anniversary we could have hoped for. My wife and I are truly grateful. From check-in to check-out, we received impeccable hospitality in every way. Starting with the attendant whose wonderful smile looked after us, every member of staff was exactly as described in the Reviews—flawless in their manners and attentive to even the smallest details. The beautifully renewed design blending Japanese and Western styles was delightful, and everything throughout the Facility was thoroughly cleaned and well maintained, creating an exceptional sense of freshness and comfort. As lovers of traditional Ryokan stays, both my wife and I were completely satisfied. We were also impressed by the wide selection of stylish women’s yukata—and it felt almost too wonderful to receive a cute drawstring pouch filled with amenities as well. When we mentioned in advance that we were visiting for our anniversary, thoughtful touches awaited us at dinner: a framed red-and-white crane mizuhiki decoration, chopstick rests marked with celebratory characters, sekihan served in an adorable bowl with “good fortune” written on it—and even a commemorative gift of a ceramic tumbler set. The dinner course itself was outstanding: exquisite ingredients beautifully presented on elegant tableware, with staging that delighted all five senses. We could truly feel the aesthetic sense and craftsmanship of everyone in the kitchen team throughout. Of course, there was nothing to fault—the taste, portions, hot/cold balance, and perfectly timed serving and clearing were all impeccable. We have stayed at many luxury Ryokan and heritage Hotels every year for our anniversary, but there is no doubt that Kamon has become an unforgettable Accommodation for us. Even on our way home we couldn’t stop talking about your hospitality together. We would love to return again—thank you very much in advance when we do. We sincerely wish you continued prosperity going forward.

The amenities, service, cleanliness, atmosphere, meals, and attentiveness—everything was perfect. We had a truly comfortable stay. If I had to mention one thing, I only wish there were a few more non-alcoholic options on the menu. This has become one of the places we’d love to return to.

We stayed here to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. As soon as we drove up to the entrance, the staff—already waiting—welcomed us with amazingly smooth, attentive service. I was nervous in an unfamiliar place, but before I knew it I was in the lobby with Bach playing softly, looking out at the sea and enjoying a chilled glass of champagne, my excitement building. The space was spotless and warmly appointed, and the selection of sweets, drinks, and amenities showed impeccable taste. The toothbrush was the most comfortable I’ve ever used. Above all, the bath was outstanding. With the window open, listening to birdsong and gazing at the ocean—and because it’s free-flowing—I even tried skipping a rinse-off and body cream afterward, yet my skin stayed moisturized without drying out! At dusk, the view from the lounge was beautiful. The British ginger lemonade was delicious, and we’re especially grateful to the elegant and attentive female staff member who made the lounge so wonderfully comfortable—thank you as well for preparing an orange liqueur for us at the end. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent; not only did everything taste wonderful, but the ingredients and presentation were beautiful too. That said, I couldn’t stop eating bread and butter and ended up too full by the time we reached the main course! Even so, it was cooked perfectly and tasted superb—I finished it all. Next time I’ll pace myself so I can fully enjoy everything through to the main dish. The young service staff were also highly professional and impressive. Even without mentioning that it was an anniversary—and even as first-time guests simply dropping by—we received consistently thoughtful hospitality throughout. Thank you very much.

This was our second stay. Last time, the hotel was spotless with thorough cleaning and the service was excellent, so we already felt it was a rare gem. This time, they upgraded our room, and we were able to enjoy a spacious, newer room. The food was delicious, the staff member who assisted us during meals was very pleasant, and of course the front desk staff were also wonderful—once again confirming what a welcoming hotel this is. We stay in many different places, but in reality there aren’t many hotels where you can feel this comfortable. I’m impressed by everything. It may be that everyone works in an enjoyable environment and that putting hospitality first is part of the hotel’s culture—but I truly felt that maintaining that consistently across all staff is not easy to achieve. We made more great memories here, and I sincerely hope to stay again. Thank you very much.

Our family of three stayed for two nights and three days. We truly felt refreshed. Thank you very much. The rainbow we saw on the morning tour, the hot spring with the perfect temperature, water quality, and bath to enjoy, and the wines paired with our meals—these three days were amazing. During the pairing, the sommelier taught us a lot about wine, which was very educational. We thoroughly enjoyed the Takahata wines, and in fact a Japanese Merlot came up in my Wine Expert Level 2 exam the following week—thanks to this experience, I was able to answer correctly. It was a wonderful place we would love to visit again.

We stay here mainly for Arashi no Yu, and every time it’s one moving experience after another—thank you again for this visit. The table tennis & darts Room was a hidden gem, and the kids were thrilled! If I had one request, it would be to have some board games the kids can enjoy (even something like UNO) in the table tennis Room or at the front desk—then children wouldn’t get bored even during a Multiple Night Stay. In any case, thank you as always for another wonderful experience.

This is an inn I had been curious about for about a year, and I was finally able to make my long-awaited stay come true. At check-in, you kindly explained the history and culture of Ise-Kawasaki in great detail, which truly moved me. The Ise tea and salted yokan served to us were delicious, and the warm, attentive hospitality of the staff member in charge left a lasting impression. The room was a charming space where you could feel the breath of history—spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The beautiful garden view stretching out beyond the room was so captivating that I found myself gazing at it for ages. The amenities were also wonderful, including VMG’s familiar rice bran series and the “Ise Misogi-yu” bath salts. What impressed me most was breakfast. The dishes inspired by the tradition of “Shinsen,” offerings presented to the deities at the Grand Shrine, had deep, comforting flavors that reflected both craftsmanship and heartfelt care. It brought me a profound sense of peace and healing as I felt connected to the local climate and history. I also appreciated being able to enjoy Ise udon at breakfast—something I had missed during my trip—which was such a thoughtful touch. At check-out, you gladly took commemorative photos in front of the main building and warmly saw us off until we were out of sight; that moment remains vividly in my heart even now. It was clear that everyone on staff truly cherishes Ise’s history and culture. This stay reminded me of Japan’s precious sense of beauty—something easily forgotten amid everyday busyness—and made it an unforgettable experience. I would love to return again. Thank you very much for such a heartwarming and wonderful time.

The Accommodation is still quite new and filled with a pleasant fragrance. You can choose your favorite scented diffuser and bring it with you. In the lounge, we enjoyed a variety of drinks and snacks. Dinner at the counter featuring Miyazaki beef teppanyaki was wonderful, and we enjoyed chatting with the chef while dining. For breakfast, we could also add a few extra menu items, which made it even more enjoyable. Everything was excellent—the in-house library, gym, in-room jacuzzi, complimentary drinks and rice crackers in the refrigerator, and the staff’s kind and attentive service. We would definitely like to stay again if we visit Miyazaki in the future.

I stayed here during a temporary return to Japan from overseas. It’s a wonderful property surrounded by nature. The staff’s hospitality, the room, the bath, and the meals were all excellent, and I was able to truly relax for the first time in a while—it was a very comfortable stay. We even had a surprise visit from squirrels on the terrace. Highly recommended, and I’d love to visit again.

Although it was my first stay, I was instantly captivated by the beauty of the property and its exceptional cleanliness. The location from our room was perfect, and the in-room hot spring—always ready to use without adding heat or water—was truly soothing. This time I stayed while hosting guests from the United States, and I was deeply impressed by the staff’s hospitality. Even though we arrived late for dinner, they welcomed us warmly without a hint of displeasure. What surprised me even more was that they quickly translated and printed an English menu on the spot. My companion was equally moved. They also kindly accommodated our train schedule by moving breakfast 15 minutes earlier, showing thoughtful flexibility that truly considered our situation. This is a wonderful ryotei that genuinely makes you feel glad you stayed—one you’ll want to brag about. Next time, I will definitely bring my family!

A ryokan next to Suwa Taisha Shimosha Akimiya, where you can relax in gentle hot springs and spend time wrapped in tranquility. From the room we stayed in this time, through the window we could see the roofs of buildings within Akimiya’s grounds and the surrounding grove. The season’s coldest autumn weather this year made the feeling of cleansing both body and mind even stronger. We didn’t have time to walk around on this trip, but it takes less than a minute to reach Akimiya’s parking lot. Its charm, different from modern accommodation facilities, reminded us of the pride of being Japanese. Thank you very much.

I have stayed in Shuzenji at Yagyu-no-Sho and at Sora next door, but this was my first stay at Asaba. 　The moment I arrived and stepped into the entrance, a pond and a Noh stage opened up before me—an overwhelming view. I also noticed the pleasant scent of wood and the crisp, refined air. I assume everything is kept impeccably clean. Our Room was in the second-lowest price range, but it still had a view of the Noh stage, and with two adjoining rooms it felt very comfortable. 　Both the staff member who guided us to our Room and handled check-in, and the attendant who served dinner and breakfast, were courteous yet pleasantly friendly, which helped me relax. Some luxury top-tier Accommodations have staff who make guests feel tense, but that was not the case here. 　Dinner made it clear that each dish was prepared with great care. The soft-shelled turtle winter melon soup and the horse mackerel sashimi were outstanding. However, as others have mentioned, since the grilled dish was sweetfish and the rice was also sweetfish rice, I would have preferred a sea fish for the grilled course. 　I used the large public bath about twice without running into anyone, so I could unwind in peace. The in-room bath was also very comfortable. I spent time in the salon before dinner on day one and after breakfast on day two; it was wonderfully quiet there, so I could relax while looking out over the pond and Noh stage. 　I would like to stay again in a different season.
