Hotel Kakuin Naruto

The rates were higher because it was during the Tokushima Awa Odori festival, but I think it was still a great deal compared with other hotels. Since it was near Naruto Station, I was unexpectedly able to watch the Naruto Awa Odori as well, which was wonderful.The Room was clean and spacious, and the view from the window was great.As it was No Meals Included, we ate what we bought in the Room. The in-room refrigerator was fairly large, and it was also nice that there were a microwave, ice, and paper cups available.Even though it’s close to the station, there are somehow no convenience stores or supermarkets nearby, so it may be inconvenient if you’re not traveling by car. However, there is a well-known kamaboko shop nearby that opens early in the morning, and I could buy some without waiting in line.It was a three-night Multiple Night Stay, but I was disappointed that the disposable slippers were poor quality.I’d like to stay again next year as well, but it seems Reservations can only be made about three months in advance—so I would appreciate being able to book a little earlier.

I stayed here when I came to Tokushima for a sports match. Since I was mostly just sleeping, it was more than sufficient. I went to an Onsen Facility, so I didn’t use the bath here, but the Hotel felt larger and more comfortable than a typical Business Hotel. The bed was spacious, and the air conditioning had been updated.The only thing that stood out was that the carpet felt old, but as long as you don’t walk around barefoot, it shouldn’t bother you.There is a Room on the first floor that guests can use freely. It was comfortable as well—I spent some time there after checkout to kill time, and it was a good environment for getting work done.Overall, it’s a great choice for a trip where you mainly just need a place to sleep.
