Oarai Hotel ANNEX Gyokurian

The amenities and complimentary drinks were well stocked. Although the sea was rough, we could see the torii gate of Oarai Shrine from the window, which was very impressive. (It was a shame we couldn’t see the sunrise due to bad weather.) We also received lots of helpful information about places to eat. There was no large public bath, but we used Oarai Hotel just a short walk away, so it wasn’t inconvenient. The Room was clean and nice as well.

There is no large public bath here, but that wasn’t an issue. If you prefer a large public bath, you can use the main building, about a 5-minute walk away. I didn’t use it because I didn’t want to sweat in the heat, and the in-room bath was more than enough.The meals were also very delicious and stylish. Above all, the location is outstanding—our Room was a corner room, and right in front of us was the torii gate of Oiso Maejinja Shrine. We arrived at night so we couldn’t see much, but when we woke up in the morning we were truly amazed. We could watch the sunrise through the torii gate from our Room. Guests from other Hotels also seemed to gather on the sidewalk below with their cameras ready. This may be the best location among Hotels in this area.
