Takeo Century Hotel

During Golden Week in Takeo Onsen, when many visitors come to the area, I stayed one night at this impressive property at the foot of the mountains. The facilities were very clean, and the baths were excellent. The sauna seemed to be out of order, but even with just the baths I was sweating nonstop. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and I could enjoy it at a relaxed pace. It was also reassuring that the staff made frequent rounds. I would like to stay again.

I stayed here because I wanted to enjoy the Hotel garden and a Japanese-style Room with separate bath and toilet.The garden I came for was available to guests with a free ticket, and I could visit from an early time (9:00). It was beautifully maintained, and I’m glad I got to see it.The Japanese-style Room was also very spacious, and the amenities were excellent—from cosmetics to face masks and even a facial steamer. The cypress bathtub was wonderful as well, making the stay very comfortable.In addition, the Onsen was available from early morning until late at night, and there was also a sauna, so I could truly relax.I didn’t have high expectations for the complimentary breakfast after reading some Reviews elsewhere, but while the selection wasn’t large, it had everything needed. You could tell it was carefully prepared; it tasted great, and the staff’s thoughtful service was appreciated.Overall, everything was excellent, and it’s a Hotel I would definitely like to stay at again.Thank you very much.
