Midagahara Hotel

The surroundings are rich in nature and truly wonderful.In particular, the lobby had a great atmosphere, and we spent a long time there. We were also happy with how easy it was to understand the explanations about the stars and the Alpine Route.The meal was excellent as well—the shabu-shabu was especially delicious.

My daughter and I stayed here together this time. Even though we arrived quite early, they promptly prepared a welcome drink for us. After that, we were shown to our Room, and since we had an early departure, we were able to relax. When we shared our Plan for the next day, they gave us spot-on advice about what time to leave, so we could enjoy ourselves without any wasted waiting time along the way. The guided walk by the Hotel staff, the astronomy slide show with a touch of humor, and the nighttime stargazing session were all great fun. The meals were delicious as well, and we were very satisfied. Next time, I’d like to make a Reservation in autumn to enjoy the fall foliage.
