Great access, great location, great atmosphere, great Onsen, and great food (it’s “Shabu-Shabu Onyasai,” but it’s perfect after a soak). Plus, there’s a winery and a restaurant about a 20-minute walk away if you feel like a hike, and in another direction it’s about 20 minutes to places that also serve softshell turtle dishes. Even in the off-season, the mountains are lush green (the roadside is covered in moss), the rice fields are full of green rice plants with dragonflies flying around, and there are small shrines along the way (with no one around). It was truly relaxing.

I was very satisfied because I was able to stay at a very reasonable price with breakfast included. I arrived at the Hotel quite late, but the staff were very helpful. Above all, my child seemed to love it and even left a message in a notepad before we left.
