Hakuba Hotel Pipe no Kemuri

We stayed for one night after trekking to Happo Pond via the Happo Gondola. I had stayed here once about 20 years ago, and I still remembered how pleasant the bath was and how clean the Room felt. This time, I had the same impression. The building has aged, but the Rooms are still clean and the bath is just as relaxing as ever. Dinner may have improved now that all-you-can-drink alcohol is included. As for dinner, there were quite a few items that seemed like frozen foods (such as pasta and fried chicken), but for our eldest daughter—who is a picky eater—the flavors were reliably familiar, and she was happy that she could eat everything (lol).After trekking, being able to take a bath, have a meal, sleep in an air-conditioned Room on freshly washed sheets—and at this price—was extremely satisfying. It may not be ideal for those looking for a stylish highland resort experience.

Although the building feels old due to poorly fitting doors and windows, it was well cleaned and there were no issues. The meals did not have a large variety, but the all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink options were more than satisfying and delicious. The bath was also relaxing. The staff were pleasant, and it was a great-value Accommodation.
