Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Hotel Fugetsu

The meals were delicious, and there were three baths, so we were able to relax and unwind.If we have the chance, we’d love to visit again!

Although it’s close by, my memories of the “Hell Tour” only went back decades… This time, we took it slow—three ladies (three middle-aged women)—stayed at Fugetsu, and walked from there to explore five of the “Hells.” Check-in was at 3:00 p.m., but we arrived a few hours early… They let us park, and we asked the staff cleaning around the entrance about the Hell Tour and nearby sightseeing spots… They stopped what they were doing to answer our questions and served us with smiles. The three of us kept saying, “That service feels so good.” The Onsen was great—and entry to the neighboring “Yume Tamatabako” was also free—so we were very satisfied after enjoying all three: the rooftop open-air bath and two large public baths! Meals were also excellent both dinner and breakfast, with a wide variety of dishes—very satisfying! (There were also plenty of welcome drinks, including alcohol, all free.) I even gained weight over two days (lol). You can really tell how well trained the staff are in every aspect. The next day, checkout was a relaxed 11:00 a.m., and even our chat with the housekeeping staff—with their great sense of humor—made us feel right at home. This little trip was a big success.
