Hotel Rishiri

Not only the front desk staff, but also the bus driver and the bathhouse staff were all very friendly and greeted us with warm smiles.The Onsen had a distinctive color like Arima Onsen, and there was a free-flowing bath fed directly from the source at about 34°C. It seemed even more popular than the open-air bath—and it was excellent.Shuttle Service for hiking Mt. Rishiri was also included, and the rice in the boxed lunch was great. Highly recommended.

I stayed for two nights. The Room, the Facility, and the staff’s hard work were wonderful, and the free-flowing natural Onsen was excellent and very relaxing. I believe it may be a cold spring, but it never made me feel chilled, and being able to soak for a long time is a real treat for Onsen lovers. The Plan included two meals with an all-you-can-drink option at dinner. Dinner had many dishes, but some items that should have been served hot were already cold, and things like the hot-plate grill ended up with the sauce burning, so it was somewhat disappointing. I was happy that Sapporo Classic was included in the all-you-can-drink menu, but since delicacies such as sea urchin were served, I would have appreciated a better selection of sake. For women in particular, options like plum wine would also have been nice. Breakfast offered a variety of small side dishes that I enjoyed; having yogurt would have been great as well. I’m sorry for leaving what may sound like complaints—I wrote them because I truly hope you will continue to improve.
