Natural Hot Spring Hiroshima North Hotel

The water in the Accommodation is natural spring water and it tastes wonderful—I ended up filling a plastic bottle to take some home. The exterior feels a bit dated, but there are intriguing little sections throughout the building (the corner with the tengu mask was especially memorable). The Onsen was also excellent and eased my stiffness from deep within. I only booked breakfast, but the spicy cod roe at the buffet was delicious. It’s a quiet Accommodation and highly recommended for resting both mind and body at a relaxed pace. There’s an okonomiyaki restaurant nearby called Sanpachi (Matsuura), so if you want Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, that’s a good place to go. I walked in without a reservation, and I recommend it for the taste, portion size, and friendly service. It’s nearly 700 km from where I live, but I’d like to visit again to enjoy the water, the Onsen, and the okonomiyaki (ideally every year).

We stayed one night while sightseeing in Miyajima and central Hiroshima.Even with four adults, the room was spacious and we slept soundly.It also had a luxurious feel that really lifted our mood.The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of both Japanese and Western options!In particular, the grilled salted mackerel, rolled omelet, yogurt, sliced bread, and rice were delicious.The front desk staff were also very helpful and made us feel welcome.It became a memorable Accommodation for us.
