Ichinomata Onsen Kanko Hotel

True to its reputation as one of “Japan’s Top 100 Onsen” and a “beauty bath,” the Onsen was truly wonderful. From the moment I stepped into the water, my skin felt noticeably smoother, and the moisturized feeling lasted even after bathing. The private family bath was especially great—I could soak at a relaxed pace without worrying about others.The building itself shows its age in places, so those looking for the newness of a modern Hotel may find it a bit dated. That said, it has a calm atmosphere, and I enjoyed the distinctive charm you’d expect from an Onsen Ryokan. This Accommodation is highly recommended for anyone who prioritizes the Onsen experience.

We stayed on a Friday, so it was quiet and the Onsen was almost like having it to ourselves. We were able to relax and soak at our leisure. The Onsen water felt silky, and my wife was delighted that her skin felt so smooth afterward. The meals were just the right amount, and everything—from fugu sashimi to grilled abalone—was truly delicious. Although the building and Room feel a bit dated, everything seemed very well cleaned, making for a comfortable one-night stay. This is an Accommodation we’d love to visit again.
