Rizopia Beppu

Five siblings stayed here together. Our Room was on the second floor, but because the Accommodation is on a hill, we had a great view over the green trees and the Onsen town. The spacious bedroom and Japanese-style room can be separated with sliding doors, which helped us catch up on sleep after the ferry ride. The floor chairs were also very helpful for our elderly family members, and we appreciated the thoughtful touch of having a coffee maker in the Room. We were also grateful that you accommodated an allergy request even though we had failed to inform you in advance. The meals were delicious as well—beautifully presented creative dishes with wonderful colors. The Hotel’s atmosphere, furniture, and furnishings felt beautiful, as everything is carefully maintained and used with respect despite its age. We love Kyushu, so when we visit Beppu again, we would like to stay here again.

While the Facility itself feels a bit dated, the staff’s attentiveness was truly outstanding. For example, they changed the breakfast menu between the first and second day, and that thoughtful attention to detail left a strong impression.These days, many Accommodations are lively with a large number of international guests, but this place had a relatively calm atmosphere, allowing me to relax and unwind. It had a cozy, hidden-gem feel, and personally it was an Accommodation I found highly satisfying.
