Hotel Happy Holiday Ishigaki Island

As part of the eco-conscious Facility operations, I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay. There was no sheet change, but fresh towels were delivered to the entrance door every day, so it was not inconvenient at all. The selectable breakfast each morning (boxed meal, self-serve coffee, barley tea, and miso soup) included options like a pork-and-egg rice ball bento, hamburger steak bento, and sandwiches—there was no repetition and I enjoyed a variety. Everything was delicious. The location was convenient as it is close to the bus terminal and the port for remote islands. Overall, I had a comfortable stay.

It was incredibly convenient being close to both the Remote Island Terminal and Euglena Mall. Even the lively “yuntaku” izakaya-style spots around Euglena at night were within a safe, easy walking distance for a solo traveler.\n\nThe staff’s attentive-but-not-intrusive service felt very comfortable, and I also loved being able to come and go freely 24 hours a day.\n\nAmenities were sufficient for what I needed. Choosing from different shampoo brands in front of the reception desk was a fun touch.\n\nBreakfast is provided as a bento, and they all looked so good it was hard to choose.\n\nAfter checkout, I still had time before my airport bus, so I asked—and they kindly stored my luggage for about three hours free of charge! It let me walk around hands-free and make sure I didn’t miss any souvenir shopping.\n\nI’ll definitely stay at Hapihori again next time.
