HOTEL SHIRAHAMAKAN (Shirahamakan)

The Facility is old, but it is kept very clean. We stayed in a Room with an open-air bath, and the veranda has a slatted floor, so you don’t have to worry about it being wet after bathing—it’s a very well-designed layout. I enjoyed using the open-air bath many times. Despite the good amenities and the convenient location right in front of Shirarahama Beach, it was reasonably priced. My wife liked it very much as well, so I think we will visit again.

At first glance, I was disappointed and thought, “Oh… we’re staying here?” But the moment I saw the Room with an open-air bath, I thought, “Ah—this feels nice.” The refrigerator is large, the Room is spacious, the Onsen water flows directly from the source, and there’s even a private garden.I had a Reservation for a no-meals Plan, but there was a shared kitchen available to use freely.It was very clean and fully equipped with cooking utensils, so you can bring your own ingredients and cook.Shirahama Beach is just across the road as well—very convenient.Restaurants, convenience stores, and a 24-hour supermarket are also nearby.Next time, I’d like to stay longer.
