Nishi-Izu Matsuzaki Itoen Hotel

We still come to stay every summer.The beach and the pool are right next to the Hotel, which is perfect.The sunset is beautiful, the meals are buffet-style, and alcohol is all-you-can-drink at dinner, so there’s plenty to enjoy.The only downside is the bath—it’s a bit small and there’s no open-air bath.But other than that, we’re very satisfied.

We stayed with our child. The location was excellent—right in front of the sea, with swimming at the beach, a pool on site, and many sightseeing spots nearby. The Hotel was generally clean and well maintained, and areas like the changing room by the bath were comfortable to use, but a few disappointing points stood out. - The buffet meals were tasty, but there didn’t seem to be enough staff for serving and clearing tables. Some items ran out often, and used plates weren’t cleared quickly enough. It felt more like a staffing issue than an individual staff member’s fault. - Too few elevators: there were only two, so we often had long waits and sometimes couldn’t get on. - The parking spaces were narrow for each car. Some guests didn’t seem to mind doors hitting other cars, and when someone wasn’t confident driving it made us nervous watching them park. It also felt like there weren’t many spaces available. There may have been a second parking lot, but we didn’t notice any guidance about it.Still, it’s clean and the location is great, so we’d like to visit again if we have the chance.
