Hotel Fine Ciel Shimane Matsue

This is my third stay at this Hotel. Every time, I’m impressed by how thoroughly everything is cleaned—it’s always spotless. The amenities also include both a body towel and a sponge, so you can choose what you prefer. The glasses and coffee cups are covered with plastic, which adds to the sense of cleanliness.Breakfast was reserved for 7:00 a.m. and arrived right on time. I chose the Japanese set meal. The rice was freshly cooked, and the salmon, fried egg, and miso soup were all warm and delicious. The king-size bed was very comfortable, and I was able to relax at my own pace. I would like to stay again.One issue: it seemed that one of the coffee cups had a crack, and coffee slowly leaked out through it.

I stayed here for the Matsue Castle Marathon. While searching for a hotel for the pre-marathon registration, I found that even business hotels were nearly 20,000 yen for two people with no meals included. Then I came across this place on a travel site and made a reservation. Although I was aware from the start that it was a love hotel, I had some concerns. When I actually stayed, the room was spacious, the bathroom was large with plenty of amenities and a high-end hair dryer, and most importantly, the bed was wide and luxurious, allowing me to sleep soundly until morning. The location was also convenient as it took about 15 minutes to get to the shuttle service stop for the event venue. The price was reasonable with breakfast and dinner included. Despite minor issues such as poorly fitted doors due to its age, an unusable jet bath, and weak smartphone connectivity in some areas, it perfectly suited my purpose and deserves a rating of 5 out of 5.I might use this place again next year!
