Value The Hotel Higashimatsushima Yamoto

It was located along a main street and easy to find, but the signage felt a bit small. The Room was decorated in bright tones and felt clean, but the semi-double bed was a little cramped for two people, and it was disappointing that the toilet did not have a bidet seat. Other than that, we were generally satisfied. Although we couldn’t fully enjoy the view due to rainy weather, the location is great and we would like to stay here again when visiting Matsushima.

Great location. There are restaurants, a convenience store, and a supermarket nearby. Ishinomaki is close, so we had dinner in Ishinomaki. The staff service is good. Breakfast is a buffet with a wide variety of options; the vegetables were fresh and delicious. The bathroom is small, and if you have a larger build your elbows or legs may bump the walls, but it was not too inconvenient. There were stains on the sheets that would not come out, and the towels were so worn that they had holes, but this seems to be part of the Hotel’s effort to keep costs down.You can clearly hear voices from the next Room and from people talking while walking in the hallway. If asked whether I would stay again, I would choose this Hotel again.
