Shima Beach Hotel

We were very satisfied with the meals.Everything we had for dinner was delicious.For breakfast, you can grill freshly dried horse mackerel at your table on a tabletop stove.The eggs were cooked on a ceramic hot plate, and we could choose between fried eggs or scrambled eggs to suit our preference.You can also have refills of rice.It was very windy so we only spent about two hours at the beach, but since the large public bath is available even after check-out, you can freshen up before heading home.The facilities were also kept clean and well maintained.For those who smoke, there is a smoking room in the building.We would love to stay again if we have the chance.

Enjoy the scenery with the Shuttle Service to the station. From the Room, an ocean view stretches out over a beach where you can swim, and in the distance you can see the silhouette of Mt. Fuji. The large public bath is a comfortable size,clean and well maintained, and the open-air bath also has a waterfall shower and a sauna room.Dinner lifted our spirits with a treasure-boat sashimi platter, and there were so many thoughtfully prepared, easy-to-eat dishes that we couldn’t finish them all.The simmered arame seaweed at breakfast was especially popular; we enjoyed coffee in the lobby lounge where carp swim to start the day.Seeing how hard everyone at this Hotel is working to train young international staff gave us a pleasant sense of an open-hearted future. It became a Hotel we want to stay at again.
