    I was able to relax and sleep soundly.

    The room was very clean. There may be a few minor issues with the bathroom fixtures. Breakfast was delicious, and the steamed rice is a must-try. The Yonezawa ramen at night was also excellent.

    The Room was very comfortable. The front desk and housekeeping staff were kind. It was conveniently located near Uesugi Shrine, the museum, and a convenience store. I slept well and had a very comfortable stay.

    1) It was too hot even with the air conditioning turned off. Maybe because of that, my throat felt scratchy in the morning. 2) The vending machine area is limited—only one machine and no alcohol. 3) There was a long line for breakfast; I waited over 20 minutes. Also, seating was very inefficient (e.g., one person at a six-person table). Mornings are busy for everyone, so it would be better to prioritize seating for solo and two-person guests. Even though this is Uesugi territory, the armor displayed in the lobby is somehow Date Masamune’s. I found that strange. The staff were kind and pleasant, so I think this place can still improve a lot.

    I stayed on the day of the Snow Lantern Festival. It was probably almost fully booked, so I didn’t really have a choice of Room, but I could hear voices and sounds from the next Room very clearly (they weren’t speaking particularly loudly—I think they were just talking normally), which made it hard for me to fall asleep and was tough. I understand it may be due to the building’s structure, but I would appreciate it if solo-use Rooms could be grouped together as much as possible. I chose a Plan with breakfast, but the breakfast venue was crowded, and I didn’t feel I could relax comfortably, so I decided not to use it. I wasn’t able to use the free late-night snack service, but I thought it was a nice service.

    Convenient Location for Sightseeing

    I had a relaxing stay. The staff were all kind, and their accents were soothing. The restaurant was spacious and stylish, making dining a pleasant experience. It’s about 10 minutes to Uesugi Shrine, with various shops nearby, making it a great Hotel to enjoy Yonezawa.

    Compared to the Tokyu era?

    The front desk staff is professional. However, due to the central air conditioning system, the Room temperature did not drop, making it uncomfortable to sleep. Updates to the Facility would be appreciated.

    For your trip to Yamagata

    Stayed one night in the Executive Twin. Good points: You can enjoy complimentary Pines cold noodles as a late-night snack, which were delicious. The TV in the Room rotates, allowing you to watch it from either the bed or sofa side. Complimentary water was provided for each guest in the Room. Bad points: Would have preferred separate bath and toilet areas.

    The breakfast was incredibly delicious. My wife says it ranks among the top three buffet-style breakfasts for a hotel of this class. However, the water lever in the bathroom was not modern; it operated by pushing down to release water, which felt inconvenient for a contemporary hotel (though I’m not sure how old the building is).
