    Wonderful!

    Dormy Inn is well-known, but since it’s a Business Hotel and very reasonably priced, I expected it to be just okay. It was wonderful. The Room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and I slept soundly. It was hot outside, but the Hotel was cooled down with strong air conditioning. There were welcome drinks and ice pops, plus water and even snacks in the Room. The Onsen was the real deal—silky smooth and luxuriously thick. And breakfast had eel hitsumabushi!? The taste was just as good as at a specialty eel restaurant! I underestimated Dormy Inn. I’m a fan again.

    A popular accommodation known for its onsen and breakfast

    Because this is a popular Accommodation, the Onsen and breakfast venue were crowded. I found it helpful that you can check the crowd level on the in-room TV. The Hotel parking lot has limited spaces, and nearby paid parking lots are often full, so if you check in late you may have difficulty finding a place to park.

    Extremely satisfied with everything—excellent.

    The Room was excellent. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and above all, I’m a big fan of the late-night soba. Breakfast was outstanding too—starting the morning with a proper serving of eel was such a treat. There was also ice cream after the bath, and the Facility was new, clean, and wonderful. I’ll definitely be back again. Thank you very much, and I look forward to staying with you next time as well.

    At checkout on 3/19 ...

    At checkout on 3/19 (around 9:45–9:50), the front desk staff member did not even greet me. If they cannot manage a basic greeting, they should not be working at the front desk. At a minimum, professional courtesy is essential.

    Exceeded expectations!!

    This was my first time staying here. It’s a twin, but the Room felt spacious enough—more than I expected. The Simmons beds were very comfortable as well. The after-bath ice cream service and the late-night soba (ramen) were both genuinely tasty. We had a Multiple Night Stay for two nights, and chose the breakfast buffet on the second morning. The selection was great, and the hitsumabushi was outstanding. The staff also spoke to us right away and were very courteous throughout. I would definitely stay here again.

    Compared to the previous Dormy services...

    Ultimately, it comes down to cost-effectiveness. Regardless of rising prices, consumers expect high service for high prices.

    New and very clean.

    I chose this Hotel after searching around Nagoya. Being newly built, everything was excellent. The Room was more spacious than expected, the bathroom was clean, and there is even an open-air natural Onsen. This Hotel seems to have perfected every aspect of a Business Hotel. The breakfast was also outstanding—the hitsumabushi eel dish was truly delicious, and the late-night ramen is highly recommended as well. I highly recommend this Hotel!

    The breakfast was excellent.

    I have stayed at Dormy in various locations, and I always look forward to enjoying a local specialty dish for breakfast. This time it was eel! The eel was thicker and more delicious than I expected, which left me truly impressed. Additionally, the staff were cheerful and attentive, making it a wonderful accommodation that I would love to stay at again.

    Stayed at the accommodation after a long time.

    We stayed as a family. The staff were very attentive, and we had a pleasant stay. It was our first time using the Hotel's mechanical parking system, but we were able to park safely. We now feel encouraged to visit by car in the future. The breakfast selection was excellent, and I enjoyed having seconds of hitsumabushi, which made me very satisfied. However, the breakfast venue gets quite crowded early in the morning due to groups of international travelers, so visiting around 8 AM is recommended.

    First time using this service.

    This was our first time staying as a family. The location is convenient, being close to Toyohashi Station. We didn’t use the parking lot this time, but we’d like to use it on our next visit. The facility was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We would love to stay here again. The Room was compact but had enough space for us to relax comfortably. The bath area was well-maintained and clean, making it easy to use with peace of mind. As a sauna enthusiast, I found it very enjoyable. However, some foreign guests were noisy or swimming in the bath area. While cultural differences may be a factor, placing warning signs within the facility could help address this issue effectively.

    Breakfast is excellent.

    The breakfast is really delicious. Compared to other hotels and Dormy Inn groups in other areas, the satisfaction level might be number one... Eel, dote-ni, clam miso soup. However, I was a bit dissatisfied with the response of the front desk staff. My car was too wide to fit in the parking lot and I had to park nearby, during which time the tone of the female staff member was cold and unpleasant.

    I always use Dormy I...

    I always use Dormy Inn. I look forward to the Onsen and services, and I use it in various locations during my business trips. This time, my arrival was delayed due to the snow, but I went to the venue 10 minutes before 23:00, looking forward to the Yonaki Soba. At other Dormy Inns, I have often seen them accommodating guests even right at 23:00. However, this time, a staff member glared at me for a while and told me in a strong tone, "Please cooperate with the closing time," which surprised me. I felt that if the response had been a bit softer, I could have used the service more pleasantly. I intend to continue using your services, so I hope this feedback will be helpful for service improvement. Thank you.

    The hospitality was very kind and excellent.

    We stayed in a twin room for two people. When I called to ask about the nearby sea, the front desk prepared a copy with directions to the sea, which was very helpful. They also arranged a taxi quickly and were really kind. I was looking forward to the Onsen and it was really nice, but my husband doesn't like Onsen much and intended to use the bath in the room, but was surprised to find only a shower. The breakfast buffet had delicious eel, which I was very satisfied with, but my husband couldn't eat eel in the morning and seemed to find nothing to his liking. There was coffee available at the front desk at any time, and there were services like ice cream after the bath, which was very nice. I think it's quite far to walk from the station, but it's three stops by tram for 200 yen, so we took a taxi most of the time, but later enjoyed the tram as well. It became a Hotel I want to visit again with friends next time. Thank you very much.

    The front desk service is terrible.

    Two double Rooms, each for single use. Despite requesting adjacent Rooms via email, it was not accommodated without explanation (5 days ago at Niigata Dormy Inn, the request for adjacent Rooms was also not accommodated without explanation). When asking about a relatively large street in Toyohashi city, the staff in charge did not know, and the surrounding staff who were free did not help. When I asked for a map, they took time to find it (isn't it problematic not to have a map of the surroundings?). In the end, I found the street name myself and set my destination, but it was a large street about a 5-minute walk from the Hotel. Having front staff who don't know the main street ruined the travel mood, and I think Kyoritsu Resort should provide more training. I personally use Dormy Inn frequently, but I was aware that there is quite a difference depending on the region, and this time was the worst.
