    An annual summer tradition

    August 6 is the day for a collective visit to our family grave in Kyoto, and I have stayed here for the past three years. The location is convenient (I travel to Kyoto by Hankyu Railway from Osaka Itami Airport), the price is reasonable, and there is a large public bath where I can relax. I’m also happy that it seems there are more Western-style options on the breakfast menu. I plan to stay here again next year as well.

    A Convenient Hotel for Your Kyoto Trip

    We stayed here on a girls’ trip, and it was very convenient—close to Shijo Station, making it easy to get to sightseeing spots and go shopping. The Room is a bit compact, but it has everything you need. The large public bath was relaxing, and soaking in the hot water helped relieve our fatigue. Breakfast also offered a taste of Kyoto, and the Saikyo-yaki grilled mackerel was especially delicious. With reasonable prices, this is a Hotel we would gladly stay at again when visiting Kyoto.

    No loungewear is provided.

    Even if the Room is clean, not providing loungewear is a major drawback. Also, although I chose this Hotel because it has a large public bath, it was already closed when I returned late. Midnight. Isn’t that a bit early? Perhaps it can’t be helped with fuel costs rising these days.

    The staff were very kind, and the Hotel was clean throughout, so I had a comfortable stay. Breakfast was also delicious. Thank you very much!!

    Great location with excellent Onsen.

    Stayed for 3 nights without meals as a solo traveler. The location is excellent, with subway and bus access to major tourist spots within a 5-minute walk, and Nishiki Market just a few minutes away—I visited twice. There’s a convenience store right in front, which I used daily. For breakfast, I found nearby places open from 7 AM. The location was perfect! I used the Onsen on the first floor twice—once in the evening and once at night—and it was great for relieving daily fatigue. Very satisfying! The Room wasn’t particularly spacious but was clean and just right for one person. The heating felt slightly warm but comfortable enough with the free nightwear provided. All staff members were polite and attentive. I’d love to stay here again—thank you!

    The public bath was ...

    The public bath was very relaxing, but there were only two towels in the Room: a bath towel and a face towel. After using the bath, I had no towel left for use in the restroom, which was inconvenient. The breakfast was delicious, so that part was unfortunate.

    Simple and secure.

    About a 5-minute walk from Karasuma Station. The area is very convenient, with many convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Although the place seemed busy with people coming and going, access to the elevators and the entrance to the public bath is restricted by card key, ensuring security. The public bath is small but was almost empty when I visited around 10 PM. Amenities are minimal.

    A cost-effective Hotel in a prime location

    This was a repeat stay. Located almost in the center of Kyoto, it is within walking distance to all directions. The location was excellent. The rates were reasonable, and there is a bathhouse on the first floor. It’s a compact Hotel with a calm and uncrowded breakfast area. I would definitely like to stay here again.

    Satisfaction

    It was close to facilities such as Nishiki Market, making it easy to get around on foot. The Facility is also functionally designed, making it a good choice for sightseeing. There are various dining options in the surrounding area, so you won't feel inconvenienced.
