    I made a Reservation...

    I made a Reservation for a smoking Room, and since there are so few Rooms where smoking is allowed, it was truly helpful for smokers. The bathroom and toilet were separate, and the bed was large. Because of that, the Room felt a bit small, but it was still comfortable enough with no issues. If I had to ask for one thing, it would be great if you offered rental hair irons. It’s a Hotel I definitely want to stay at again when I visit Nara.

    Close to the station, natural Onsen

    - I had previously stayed at a Daiwa Roynet Hotel in Aomori and had a good impression. - Close to the station - A large public bath (natural Onsen) - Reasonable price (No Meals Included for two people: JPY 12,000–13,000 for one night on a weekend) These four points were the deciding factors, so I stayed here for one night during my four-night trip to Nara City. It’s close to JR Nara Station, and buses from the station go toward Nara Park and Kasuga Taisha Shrine, which is very convenient. There’s also a supermarket inside the station, and plenty of places to eat nearby, so I chose No Meals Included. The building has a Japanese-style atmosphere and feels relatively new and clean. There are deer decorations throughout that really give you a sense of Nara. I used the self check-in machine, but I still had to go to the front desk to receive the card key required for the women’s bath area, which made it feel pointless. Time-wise it didn’t seem much different from checking in at the front desk, so I didn’t really see much benefit—this could be improved (for example, having both the Room key and women’s bath key issued by the machine, or switching the women’s bath access to a PIN code). I happened to arrive at check-in time along with a large group of international guests, so there was quite a wait for the elevator. The Room didn’t feel particularly large or small—just adequately sized. It might be slightly tight if you want to fully open a suitcase. The Room has its own bathroom as well, but there is also a natural Onsen (simple hot spring) large public bath. It’s open until 24:00 at night and from 6:00 in the morning, so I went twice—after check-in and again the next morning. There was an ice cream service after bathing, and you can relax in the post-bath lounge while watching TV and enjoying your ice cream. I also used the coin laundry; there are machines on both the 5th and 8th floors, so I didn’t run into situations where someone else was using them when I needed them. They are washer-dryer combo units as well, which was convenient. *At another Hotel on a different day, they had separate washers and dryers—and people left finished laundry sitting inside—so it was very stressful because I couldn’t use them.* All staff were kind as well; when it started raining right as I was heading out for dinner and I wasn’t sure what to do, they lent me an umbrella. I’m planning another trip to Nara next January too, and I’m thinking of staying here again for one or two nights out of four. This Hotel—and Nara Hotel—are becoming my regular go-to places whenever I stay in Nara.

    A Hotel near Nara Centennial Hall.

    After attending a concert at Nara Centennial Hall, we decided to stay at a nearby Hotel.

    Great value for this price—right by the station and with an Onsen!

    I used it because it has a natural Onsen. It is a relaxing bath. The bathing area is not too bright, but not too dark either, so you can unwind. Even older guests can feel at ease. Right in front of the station, with parking available (parking is charged separately). For this price, the quality felt like a great value.

    We had a relaxing stay.

    I stayed at this Hotel for the first time after being interested in it for a while. Unfortunately, it was raining, so its convenient location near the station was a big help. The Room is compact, but I was pleasantly surprised to get the “Aoni” Room I had requested when making my Reservation. It was on the 11th floor facing west, so the view was great. The bath also met my expectations—the changing area was spacious, and I appreciated not having to bring towels from my Room. Breakfast wasn’t too crowded, and I enjoyed local Nara specialties like tea porridge and Miwa somen. It was also nice that there were plenty of vegetable dishes. It’s comfortable not only for sightseeing but also for a relaxing trip spent unwinding at the Hotel.

    It’s better not to include breakfast.

    The Room is clean, and the staff are polite. I’m glad the toilet and bath are separate, but there’s no sink in the toilet, so you end up having to use the bathroom sink, which is a bit inconvenient. The large public bath was also nice. Breakfast was terrible! It didn’t taste good, and there were very few options; on a Multiple Night Stay, everything except one item was the same every day! This is the worst breakfast I’ve ever had. It’s near the station but still slightly inconvenient, so I probably wouldn’t stay again.

    This was my first stay, and the location near the station was very convenient. The set-course meals were delicious. The bath was also an Onsen, which was great. It’s a Hotel I’d like to stay at again if I have the chance.

    Living in northern O...

    Living in northern Osaka, it was a convenient overnight stay and my first trip to Nara in a while. I love Onsen, so I was able to relax, but I was disappointed that there weren’t more types of baths and the jacuzzi wasn’t working. Since it feels like a Business Hotel, maybe having a large public bath at all is already a plus (lol). Dinner was excellent, but I would have liked the option to add some light snacks to enjoy with drinks. The Room and Facility were clean and well maintained, amenities were plentiful, and the front desk staff were kind with wonderful smiles. I’ll definitely stay again! Thank you very much.

    I am very satisfied.

    The Room is spacious, and the toilet and bath are separate, making it very convenient. The large Onsen bath was especially great, and I was very satisfied. The staff were also kind and courteous.

    We stayed for two ni...

    We stayed for two nights in two connecting Rooms for six people. The Rooms were clean, the front desk staff were kind, and we were satisfied with the breakfast buffet. With its convenient location near the station, it is an excellent Hotel. The only disappointment was that although the large public bath changing Room was clean, a used poultice patch left by someone beside the bath was still there the next day. I wondered if it had been missed during cleaning.

    Near JR Nara Station

    This was my second stay. The front desk staff were very attentive at check-in. The Room has a separate bath and toilet, but the toilet layout felt a bit awkward and took some getting used to. It might have been nice to have a small sink inside the toilet room as well. The Room is spacious and comfortable. The ice pops in front of the large public bath may be copied from a rival chain, but it’s a welcome service for guests. Breakfast was consistently delicious, and as a Roynet member I could check out as late as noon, so I was able to relax until departure. Perhaps because it’s away from major tourist areas, it’s relatively affordable, so if prices don’t rise too much, I’d like to stay here again.

    Relaxing Getaway

    I stayed for two nights during the cherry blossom season in April. It was my first time here, and the entire property was very well cleaned, so I had a comfortable stay. I had the buffet-style breakfast; although I went to the venue with extra time before heading out, there were already many guests waiting, so I ended up eating in a bit of a rush, which was disappointing. The food itself was satisfying. If I have the opportunity, I would like to stay here again.

    From the lobby to the Room, everything was kept clean and it was a comfortable stay. The convenience store was at a distance that required a bit of a detour, so I would have been happy if there had also been a snack vending machine in the vending machine area. The restaurant felt much more casual than it looked on the website, with an atmosphere like a local set-meal diner.

    Highly satisfied

    This was my first time staying at a Daiwa Roynet Group Hotel with a same-day Reservation. I was impressed by the wide selection of amenities. The Room was spacious and well designed; although it was on a lower floor, it was quiet and comfortable. The Onsen after walking around all day was very relaxing. I would like to stay again.

    Best value for money

    Even though it was the off-season, I’m truly grateful that we were able to stay at such a wonderful, high-end Hotel at a reasonable price—something that would be unthinkable in Tokyo these days. In addition, all of the Hotel staff were genuinely polite and attentive. The Room was very spacious—having connecting Rooms is great on its own, but there was enough space to easily fit an extra bed. It was also very clean, likely thanks in part to the building being relatively new. I was delighted that there is a large public bath, and on top of that, there are plenty of thoughtfully arranged areas where you can use a hair dryer. There was not only a water dispenser but even complimentary ice cream! I think this level of quality is truly impressive. I would definitely like to stay here again when visiting Nara.

    Modern and great value for money!

    A modern Hotel with excellent value for money. It’s new and located right in front of JR Nara Station. One of the best things about Daiwa Roynet is the wide selection of amenities—plenty of skincare items, plus quality in-room drinks like drip coffee and Darjeeling tea. Wonderful!

    It was a clean Room.

    The guest room was spacious and clean, which was great. However, the breakfast quality was somewhat disappointing. The variety was limited, and apart from the rice and soup, the dishes were cold and not very appetizing.

    Conveniently located near the station

    Close to Nara Station, with a supermarket in front and many restaurants nearby, making it perfect for No Meals Included stays. The Room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the large public bath was cleaner than expected with great water quality. Highly recommended for sightseeing in Nara. Breakfast felt like it mostly consisted of reheated items, so it might not be necessary to include it.

    Conveniently located near the station! Amazing bath!

    The affordable Room was understandably small. The combined bath and toilet setup was, as expected... It was a bit disappointing that there were no small bags provided at the front desk for amenities, unlike the Daiwa Royal Hotel in Osaka where they were already prepared.

    Easy to use

    Comfortable Journey

    Thank you for your hospitality. I arrived at Nara Station at night and got lost finding the Hotel. The West Exit area was almost deserted at night and early morning, which made me a bit uneasy, but once I entered the Hotel, both the Room and the large public bath were clean and very pleasant. The staff at the breakfast venue were kind and attentive, and I enjoyed the delicious food. I would love to stay here again when traveling to Nara. Thank you for a comfortable stay!

    It was great.

    I decided to use this accommodation for the first time after hearing from a friend who had a great stay and mentioned that the meals were delicious. Although I had to wait at reception due to staff attending to other guests (including international visitors and elderly guests), I was guided by an efficient and friendly staff member, making the check-in process smooth. (It would be even better if all staff could pay attention to other guests as well. Additionally, having pathways on both sides of the counter might make it easier for staff to move in and out.) The room was designed with wide hallways, providing a spacious and comfortable atmosphere. The large public bath was also thoughtfully designed, with features like washing areas suitable for parents with children, making it convenient and easy to use without any concerns. I would love to stay here again in the future. Thank you very much!

    The usual quality.

    This time, I stayed in a corner room on the railway side, and the sound of the trains was noticeable. While this is unavoidable, I think it might be worth checking the noise level of the air purifier. It was quiet at night, but I found it noisy and turned it off. During the day, it wasn’t an issue. Other than that, everything was up to its usual high quality. Thank you for your hospitality!

    I would like to use it again.

    The layout of the Room was good. It's unfortunate that the public bath opens from 6 AM. I wish it could open around 5 or 5:30 AM.

    Very good Hotel.

    This was my first stay. There was some time before check-in, but drinks were provided in the lobby, and I could sit and wait comfortably. The front desk staff were kind, and above all, the hotel was clean and well-maintained. There is a large public bath with towels available there as well. After walking a lot during my trip to Nara, it helped relieve the fatigue in my legs. I didn't have high expectations since it's a business hotel, but there were pleasant surprises that exceeded my expectations in a good way. I would definitely like to stay here again on my next trip to Nara. Thank you very much!

    Business Trip Use

    Booked two rooms with a colleague as we had work in Nara early the next morning. Conveniently located near JR Nara Station, making it easy to access restaurants and convenience stores. There is also an affordable coin parking nearby, perfect for budget-conscious stays. The public bath was surprisingly spacious and helped relieve fatigue.
