    This stay was No Meals Included.

    Thank you. My daughter stayed here the night before an event she attended with my wife. We booked through IKYU because we had a great experience in Hakone before. The interior was refined throughout, and we also appreciated being upgraded at check-in—it really showed Daiwa’s thoughtful hospitality. It was only for one night, but we’d love to stay again if we have the chance. Even after checkout, they kindly stored our luggage, which allowed us to enjoy a short visit to Tofuku-ji Temple. With such a convenient location, this was especially helpful—my wife was very grateful. Thank you for a wonderful time in Kyoto. One small suggestion regarding amenities: only green tea was provided in the Room, and we would have appreciated having black tea as well.

    We were extremely satisfied.

    The Room was more than spacious enough and felt very clean. I was especially surprised that the shower and bathtub were in separate areas. It was extremely relaxing. I would like to stay again next time.

    Please make sure to clean the bathroom thoroughly.

    This is my regular Accommodation when I travel to Kyoto for work. This time, I stayed here for my daughter’s club trip. However, there was black mold in the usually clean bathtub. Also, the corners of the bathroom had turned brown. Bathroom cleanliness directly affects a hotel’s rating, so please improve your maintenance. A male staff member was stationed at the amenity area, and when we tried to take two days’ worth for two people (morning and night), we felt pressured, so we went to pick them up each day. It was very inconvenient. Previously, when I tried to take amenities in bulk for a four-night stay, I was given an unpleasant look. I would like the male staff to be more considerate of women traveling on business. On the other hand, providing Sekkisei amenities, offering hair iron rentals, and having a convenience store downstairs are major attractions for female guests.

    Convenient location in front of the station

    Located at the corner of the Higashiguchi intersection near Kyoto Station, it is very convenient for shopping for souvenirs at the station building or visiting the underground mall. The facility is clean and compact, making it easy to use. Breakfast is served buffet-style, offering delicious options with a good variety.

    Reliable and comfortable stay with Daiwa Roynet Standard

    Just a few minutes' walk from JR Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit, this accommodation offers incredibly convenient access with no worries about getting lost. Additionally, there is a convenience store on the first floor, allowing you to shop without leaving the building. A notable feature of this hotel is its separate bath and toilet setup, which ensures a refreshing experience even after returning on hot summer days—this alone makes it worth choosing this accommodation. The room follows the standard design of Daiwa Roynet Hotels; while it may lack individuality, it is always clean and comfortable as expected. Daiwa Roynet Hotels are rapidly expanding across major cities in the whole country, with three hotels near Kyoto Station alone. Among business hotels, this one maintains a sense of higher quality that we hope will continue. Breakfast is served buffet-style with both Japanese and Western options and was satisfying overall. However, another nearby Daiwa Roynet Hotel at Hachijo Exit seemed to offer more Kyoto-inspired dishes in their menu. That said, unlike that hotel where breakfast was served in a corner of the lobby causing some lack of privacy, here breakfast is served in an independent dining room for a more relaxed experience. While slightly pricier than expected overall, it provided comfort and satisfaction suitable for business trips.

    Great value for money.

    Thank you for your hospitality. Although it was a one-night stay, the Room upgrade made it very comfortable. Check-in and check-out were done via machines instead of face-to-face interaction, but there was no greeting from the front desk at all, which was the only disappointment.

    Stayed again this year! Conveniently located near the station, clean, with delicious breakfast and a comfortable stay. I always plan to stay here when visiting Kyoto.

    The bathroom is cold.

    The bathroom is cold. The kettle was left out and not stored in the cabinet under the glasses. There is no space to place glasses by the bedside.

    The location is excellent, and the toilet and bath are separate, with very good facilities. However, one of the two rooms we used had a strong smell of tobacco in the bathroom (Room 311), making it difficult to relax while bathing. Additionally, a note from a previous guest was left behind, which gave the impression that cleaning was not thorough. Other than that, everything was great. Thank you for your hospitality.

    It was a beautiful Hotel.

    The bathroom was separate, which was a first-time experience for a Business Hotel. As the name "Premium" suggests, the Facility was well-equipped, and the towels provided were thick and clean. Considering this price and the convenient access from Kyoto Station, I highly recommend it.

    Satisfied!

    I love Daiwa Roynet Hotel. The Room size is just right, not too small or too big. Especially, the bathroom with a washing area is a great feature! Also, having a smoking Room in this day and age is wonderful! This time, I stayed in a Room on the station side where I could see the Shinkansen. It was enjoyable to watch the Shinkansen arrive and depart. I would like to stay again. Thank you very much!

    Superior Twin (CITY VIEW) was used. I felt the Room was a bit smaller than I expected, but I was able to stay comfortably without any issues. The complimentary coffee was also delicious. I would like to stay again.

    I stayed at a new Hotel because it seemed easy to stay alone with a separate bath and toilet. I felt the air conditioning was slightly dry, and the heating was too strong at night, making it a bit hot. The amenities were well-equipped, and the Room was very clean. The Room was spacious enough to relax. I wasn't bothered by any surrounding noises.

    There is an issue with the breakfast buffet.

    The Hotel is relatively new, and the room facilities are quite good (although the water in the bathtub was very lukewarm when filled). However, the breakfast restaurant... I received a seat card at the entrance, secured a seat (also placed a handkerchief to make it easily recognizable), went to get food, and when I returned, there were a large number of plates filled with food. My seat had been taken by another guest. There was a female employee near my confused self, but she ignored the situation. Reluctantly, I picked up my seat card and handkerchief and moved to an available seat. The restaurant is small, and if there had been a few more guests and no vacant seats, I would have had to wander around with a tray full of food. The employees should have seen me place the seat card and handkerchief. While guests who ignore others' seat cards and handkerchiefs are a problem, employees who leave such situations unattended are also questionable. I don't think I will be using this service again in the future.

    The Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also delicious, but it would be appreciated if there were a few more varieties of vegetables and fruits. I was concerned about the mold attached to the corners of the drain and toilet.

    The location was great, being close to the station. It was a Multiple Night Stay. For room cleaning and replenishment of amenities, it was required to place a magnetic sign on the room door by 10 AM, but there was no initial explanation, so I didn't notice and was a bit disappointed to find the room as it was when I left in the morning upon returning the next day. Although it was something I could have understood by looking at the room instructions, I didn't notice at all... However, when I called the front desk, they promptly brought towels and other items, which was good. The excellent location and the separate bath and toilet were the best features. I would like to use it again.

    Daiwa Roynet is used all over the whole country, and I think they are all good. This was my first time here, but it was quiet despite being in front of the station, which was very nice. I would like to use it again.

    Overall, the room was clean and reasonably spacious, with a large bathing area that was not a typical unit bath, allowing for a relaxing experience. It would be nice if there were a few more options on the breakfast menu. Additionally, it would be better if the price were a bit lower. However, considering the location, it might be considered reasonable.
