  No repeat stays!

  Conveniently located near the National Bunraku Theatre, allowing easy return to the Hotel between performances. While this was appreciated, the surrounding area is lined with love hotels and nightlife establishments, with some questionable individuals around. Fortunately, it wasn’t noisy as none of the establishments seemed busy. The front desk was staffed by a single Chinese woman with limited Japanese skills and no visible support from a supervisor, revealing the lack of professionalism at this Hotel. As expected, dust had accumulated in parts of the room and the air felt stale. Despite being advertised as entirely non-smoking, there was a noticeable smell of cigarettes in the elevator. It seems there’s either a shortage of cleaning staff or no proper training provided for them. I chose this place trusting IKYU.com’s reputation but was deeply disappointed. I will never stay here or at any affiliated properties again.
