    From luggage storage to check-in, this is an important service that represents the Hotel and leaves a strong impression. You handled everything smoothly and courteously on your own, communicating in fluent Japanese, which made our stay very comfortable. Thank you very much.

    The location and the room were clean, which was nice, but... On the lower floors, the outside noise was loud and it was hard to relax.

    Everyone at the Hotel was very cheerful and courteous, and I was able to relax comfortably. The bedding was wonderful and I slept soundly—thank you.

    Few disadvantages are noticeable.

    I have sensitive hearing, and when I found out that the assigned room was next to an employee space with cleaning tools, I was concerned about potential noise. However, when I consulted with the staff, they kindly changed my room. Thank you for your assistance at that time. The downsides were slightly inconvenient train access and the lack of a phone in the room, which meant having to go down to the first floor to ask staff questions. Despite being located on a main street, I wasn’t bothered by nighttime or early morning noise—perhaps due to good construction or because my room was on a higher floor. The atmosphere among guests seemed decent as well; there were no noticeable disturbances from other guests. While train access is not ideal, there’s a bus stop right in front of the accommodation, so it has its pros and cons. Personally, I find trains more convenient, so it felt slightly inconvenient for me. Overall, it was an excellent stay worth more than its price! There’s also an office of a political party nearby which I personally appreciated. Plus, having a 7-Eleven next door is very convenient!

    Comfortable and friendly.

    In the morning, when I left my luggage to go sightseeing in Kyoto during the day, there was no Japanese front desk staff available, so I wrote my name on a piece of paper but had difficulty communicating. However, during check-in, the process went smoothly and I was able to retrieve my luggage without any issues. The bedding was excellent and the room was clean, making for a very comfortable stay. Thank you!

    Kyoto Budget Travel

    We stayed as a couple on the final night of the autumn long weekend at an affordable rate. Since it was the day before a weekday, we were able to stay at a great location for a reasonable price. There were plenty of dining options around Shijo Omiya, which was very convenient. The room had two beds, allowing us to relax comfortably. We would like to use this accommodation again next time.

    Just the right balance

    The location is excellent, and the Facility and services of the Hotel are well-balanced and satisfactory. It seems walkable to Nishiki Market and other downtown areas, and buses to various destinations are easily accessible.

    Services were significantly reduced.

    The location, price, and service are attractive, and I occasionally stay here for a refreshing break. This time, I was surprised to find that the previously free coffee machine now had a "200 yen" sign on it, and the basket with skincare products had been removed. When I asked about the skincare products, they brought them out from the back after saying "Oh, sure," but there was no indication of this in the room. Most guests at this accommodation are foreigners, and the linens still have a distinct smell that hasn't gone away. I'm unsure if I'll return next time.

    Busy with work

    I used this place the day before an important exam to focus and stay concentrated. The comfortable bed was tempting, but having a table and chair nearby made it easy to concentrate on studying. There are dining options available if you're not too particular. Although there was no bathtub, the shower had strong water pressure and was more than sufficient. The space was clean and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay.

    We would like to recommend places and more.

    Although it is slightly away from the bustling areas like Daimaru, it is within walking distance, and there are convenient supermarkets like Life nearby. Having a Seven-Eleven on the first floor is also nice. During the year-end when prices are high everywhere, this place is recommended for budget-conscious travelers. I think there are definitely more foreign guests staying here. When sleeping, when my room became quiet, I could slightly hear the TV? sound from next door, so it might be a concern for those sensitive to noise. The bed is quite firm.
