    Calm and clean

    It’s close to the business district but not on a major road, and there were no noisy guests. The staff are young but calm, and I had a very comfortable stay. The breakfast area is small, but it looked delicious; unfortunately, even though I had a Multiple Night Stay, I didn’t have time in the morning even once to go eat, which was disappointing. The Facility is new, clean, and great. The Room is compact, but I could just barely open my suitcase, and it has a full-length mirror plus a desk and chair—everything is arranged perfectly, which I thought was excellent. The only thing to watch out for is the step up into the bathroom; I assume it’s to prevent noise from plumbing (even though there should have been guests on both sides, I couldn’t hear any toilet or shower sounds).

    Suitable if you just need a place to sleep.

    Deluxe Twin room. The beds are right by the door as soon as you enter. I was surprised by the overly unconventional layout (and how small it felt). There were curtains. The desk lamp cover looked like it might come off. For some reason, the bathroom was spacious, and the bathtub was roomy as well. It was quite disappointing to find hair on the floor. The beds were comfortable and spacious, and I slept well.

    Breakfast is terrible.

    The Room was good, but the breakfast was terrible. It was a buffet style, but there were hardly any side dishes, and I ended up eating almost nothing. The gap compared to other APA locations is disappointing.

    Prices in the ¥8,000 range are a great deal!

    By chance, I managed to book it for a little over 8,000 yen per night. The bed was wonderfully plush, and the blackout curtains were perfect. Thanks to that, I slept for a full eight hours and almost ended up late for work. The under-bed luggage storage was also a great idea (though it annoys me that it’s been “used” in some dubious story by an Eastern European woman about an Asian person hiding under the bed). The stand-up-comedy-style anime playing on the in-house TV was hilarious—I watched the same bit several times (a banquet survey written with the exact wording of a ramen shop order slip). It made me think, “How do they come up with this?” and I’m now really looking forward to my next business trip. I’ll probably choose APA again next time.

    Everything except the signal was good.

    The room is clean, the facilities are well-equipped, and you can watch unlimited streaming movies. The location is good, and there is no inconvenience in spending time here. However, there is no signal (Docomo) at all on the lobby floor, making it impossible to use a smartphone. Despite this, the front desk often tries to have you scan a QR code during check-in procedures. It wasn't just me; my companion experienced the same issue, so it's unlikely to be a smartphone malfunction. It was the same when I stayed last week, so it's probably not a coincidence. Honestly, this alone significantly offsets the above advantages. I wonder if they have any plans to install a signal booster (Docomo repeater)? I think it's a very good hotel except for the signal issue, so I hope it will be improved by the next time I come to stay.
