    I was wondering what Osaka is famous for.

    I didn’t think people in Osaka would eat okonomiyaki for breakfast, but since you probably won’t spend your sightseeing time searching for a place to have it for lunch or dinner, having a slice first thing in the morning is satisfying. Such a thoughtful touch.\nIt may have been because it was Saturday and there were many female guests, but the large public bath felt small.\nStill, the complimentary ice pops made bath time enjoyable.

    The checkout process was not very good.

    The young male Hotel staff member at check-in was clear and very helpful, but the young female Hotel staff member at check-out was arrogant and unpleasant in the morning. I think few first-time guests can use that check-out machine without guidance.

    Great value with plenty of perks

    I booked without much research, but I was impressed by the drink service in front of the front desk, the ice cream after the bath, the late-night snack service, and how delicious the breakfast buffet was. I’d like to stay here again when I’m in Osaka.

    A reliably great stay at Dormy Inn

    I often need Accommodation near Tanimachi 4-chome, so this is my go-to place. With an Onsen, Dormy is my only choice. The breakfast is excellent too.

    This is a good Hotel.

    It’s a bit of a walk from Tanimachi 4-chome Station. At first, I had trouble finding the place. The bath was great, and I was happy to have ice cream after bathing.

    Onsen in the business district, perfect!

    It is quite rare to find an Onsen with a large bath in a business district. You can stretch out and relax, and there is also a spacious sauna that will likely appeal to sauna enthusiasts. The complimentary ice cream after bathing and the famous free late-night ramen, "Yonaki Soba," though I didn't try it this time, are well-known features. I also appreciated the complimentary water and jelly provided in the room's refrigerator. The facility is clean and conveniently located near Osaka Metro Tanimachi 4-chome Station, making for a very comfortable stay. I would love to visit again. The only concern was that check-in is fully online, which made me wonder if elderly guests might face difficulties; however, this may just be my unnecessary worry. Staff members were available to handle luggage storage manually beforehand, so it seems they adapt flexibly for elderly or foreign guests when needed.

    The bath and sauna are simply the best!

    The Room was comfortable, and I thoroughly enjoyed the bath and sauna, allowing me to relax. The staff's service was excellent, leaving me very satisfied. With many convenience stores nearby and great accessibility, I plan to stay here again when visiting Osaka.

    A delicious breakfast with a limited selection of dishes.

    The breakfast buffet offered fewer items, but each dish was delicious compared to buffets with many options but mediocre taste. The simmered dishes like Nikujaga and grilled fish (salmon and mackerel) were particularly tasty, leaving me very satisfied. It felt very considerate of SDGs amidst the focus on reducing food waste and costs. Additionally, the hot coffee was served instantly at the push of a button, making it convenient without having to wait in line (as many Hotel breakfast buffets often have long lines for hot coffee).

    Breakfast offers variety and good quality, very satisfying. Coffee is weak and needs improvement. The bath is clean and comfortable. Business trips can be exhausting, but staying here allowed me to refresh. The Room lacks a humidifier, which is a drawback compared to others.

    It was great to be able to enjoy the Onsen. The Plan with a checkout time until 1 PM was even better. I was surprised by the crowd at the late-night soba, but it was delicious. Thank you very much.

    I recently stayed at a Dormy Inn after a long time. While it’s understandable that the accommodation is crowded with inbound guests, this stay raised concerns about the security measures of this hotel chain. Firstly, the door to my room had a malfunction and wouldn’t close properly. It stopped just a few centimeters before fully closing, meaning it didn’t lock automatically. Every time I left the room, I had to manually push the door shut to ensure it locked. If unnoticed, there was a risk of leaving the room open for hours—this was shocking. Additionally, the shared restroom on the first floor was in an unsanitary condition in the morning. In the public bath area, an older woman who appeared to be an inbound guest brought two children (presumably her grandchildren) into the outdoor bath while still wearing clothes and then left them there alone. What caught my attention even more was that these children were sitting in the bath with only their lower bodies submerged while using their mobile phones they had brought along. I believe mobile phone use is prohibited in changing areas as well; allowing phones into spaces where everyone is undressed seems highly inappropriate. Children might start taking photos or videos of Japan’s open-air baths and upload them instantly on social media platforms—potentially exposing people’s privacy worldwide as digital tattoos that can never be erased. While inbound guests are valuable customers, this is Japan; enforcing behavior aligned with Japanese norms should be prioritized immediately for everyone’s comfort and safety at accommodations like this one.

    The smell from the p...

    The smell from the plumbing is a bit strong. I forgot the room number, but it's probably the smell from the shower room. The late-night ramen, hot springs, and sauna are really great, so I would like to visit again.
