  It was comfortable.

  I used the room for a day-use stay to work on a report. It was quiet and helped me focus, and the bed was very comfortable, so I could relax during breaks. There are also lunch and dessert spots nearby, and it was convenient being close to Karasuma Station.

  Great value for money

  Located between Shijo Karasuma and Gojo Karasuma. Hotel staff are kind and helpful. Spacious rooms for the price. Would love to stay again.

  Disappointing.

  I understand that there is a labor shortage, but the service is lacking. Despite claiming to be eco-friendly, there is no sheet exchange or room cleaning for a 3-night stay, and guests have to dispose of used linens and trash themselves, making it feel like a boarding house. Is this greenwashing? The closet only has a hanger rack with no drawers, and there are no shoehorns or shoe polishing paper. The pajamas and around the bed still have odors, and I am dissatisfied with the level of laundry and cleaning methods. If I had known this information in advance, I would not have chosen this property. Our family trip was ruined, and I will never stay here again.
