    The location and Room are good, but the breakfast quality is a bit lacking for those who prefer Western-style options.

    Conveniently located in the center of a town rebuilt from scratch after the earthquake, with a supermarket, convenience stores, and restaurants nearby. The Room size is average, but the bathtub is larger than expected and there are plenty of power outlets, so it compares well with major Business Hotels. I wanted to say the breakfast passed thanks to its good variety, but for those who prefer Western-style options, there was no butter—only margarine—and the coffee was made by diluting concentrate with little aroma, leaving me disappointed by the lack of attention to these important details.

    The room was very clean, and the breakfast was delicious.

    There was no step between the bathroom/toilet and the Room, which made it very comfortable to stay. Nearby, there is an official Kamome no Tamago shop and a local supermarket, so I found the location convenient. I usually choose a plan without breakfast, but since it was a breakfast featuring Sanriku ingredients, I decided to include it this time. The scallop shell-grilled dish was so delicious it felt almost too good for breakfast! I would like to stay here again when visiting Ofunato.

    I chose this Hotel because I thought it was the best option in Ofunato City for my friend’s stay. My friend was very satisfied, so I gave it a high rating. Thank you.

    It was a great Hotel...

    It was a great Hotel. The property was clean throughout, and housekeeping was thorough. The service during our stay was excellent, and when I called several times in advance with questions, every staff member responded politely and helpfully. In the end, I’m glad we chose this Hotel.

    Compact and clean

    I didn't use the restaurant, but there were various places like Kamome Plaza and Kassenn Ofunato right in front, which made strolling around enjoyable. The Room felt like a compact Business Hotel—not too spacious but not cramped either—and was comfortable enough. It would have been nice to have a large public bath to stretch out and relax. Overall, it was sufficient for my needs.

    Highly recommended.

    The room is spacious, and as everyone says, the room was very satisfying. The bathtub with a washing area is also great. Breakfast is just right with a sufficient variety of dishes. Highly recommended. The staff were pleasant as well. Overall, this was my No.1 recommendation for recent stays at business hotels, including the accommodation fee. Thank you very much!

    The view from the window was nice, and the room was clean. I stayed after a party, and it was very comfortable.

    I would have appreciated a heads-up if it was a disaster drill day!

    I stayed for one night and two days. On the morning of the second day, I was very surprised when the speaker in the town announced, "There is an earthquake" and "A tsunami like the Great East Japan Earthquake." There were several announcements, and in the latter half, they started with "Training, training," but at first, it wasn't there (I think they said "training," but it was unclear), which made me anxious. Even after finding out through an internet search that it was a disaster drill in Ofunato today, the "training" sound from the municipality kept ringing on my smartphone, and it was noisy. If I had been informed about the disaster drill at check-in, I wouldn't have thought it was "noisy," and my impression would have been completely different! However, since I visited the "Miracle Pine Tree" the day before, I am aware of disaster prevention!
