    The Room was spaciou...

    The Room was spacious, which was great. The bath and toilet were separate, the triangular table was easy to use, and the wide chair was very comfortable. I was able to relax and take my time. Breakfast was at Sizzler. The entrance to the breakfast venue was hard to find. You have to go down a corridor, but there is a door along the way that was closed, so I wasn’t sure if I could enter. I ended up going all the way to the back to get in. I think staff should stand in the corridor or there should be clearer signage. As for the food, Sizzler’s signature cheese toast was tasty, but I wished it had been toasted on both sides. The fruit and soft-serve ice cream were delicious. There weren’t many meat dishes that I liked. When I picked up a plate for salad, there were dried rice grains stuck on it. I didn’t feel comfortable putting it back where it came from, and there were no staff nearby, so I removed them and put items with peels (banana, orange, kiwi, lychee, etc.) on the plate so that food wouldn’t touch it directly. While eating at my seat, I noticed there were more rice grains stuck on that plate as well. That was disappointing.

    First, before your stay,

    Thank you for your hospitality. I made my Reservation early, and about a month before my stay I received a message from you. You kindly shared information and exchanged messages with me about dinner, the lounge, and more. No other Hotel has ever done this for me, so I truly appreciated it. The view during my stay was of Tokyo Skytree Town, the Room was spacious, and I could fully relax both visually and physically with the comfortable bed, view bath, two sinks, and open outlook. My plan included breakfast and dinner. The dinner in particular had such generous portions that I couldn’t finish it all, and it was delicious with a wonderful atmosphere. Including breakfast, I enjoyed Sizzler again for the first time in a while and was very satisfied. Once again, thank you very much to all the staff who supported me—not only on the day of my stay but even beforehand. I will definitely visit again.

    Room with a Sauna Room

    I’ve stayed here many times, and this was my first time staying in a Room with a sauna. Because of her age, my mother didn’t use the sauna, but we were glad the wooden tub was low enough for her to get in safely. It would have been nice to have a chair in the shower area. Also, there was no explanation that we could use the lounge, so it was disappointing to find out only after we got back that it was available.

    It was conveniently located near Tokyo Skytree Town (Solamachi).

    The Hotel is very conveniently located right outside Oshiage Station, across from Solamachi. The Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a separate bath and toilet, and the double sinks were very practical. For dinner, we enjoyed Sizzler on the same floor as the Hotel front desk, with a choice of main dish and a delicious salad bar. The cheese toast was baked after ordering and brought to us hot and crispy—also very tasty. Since it’s mostly salad, it’s nice that you can eat a lot without feeling too guilty. However, breakfast the next morning was also at Sizzler, so the menu felt quite similar. Next time I might choose breakfast only. Also, Sizzler has different entrances for dinner and breakfast, but this wasn’t explained at check-in, so I was confused near the door at breakfast. Rather than being shown a box labeled “welcome drink” and receiving two tea bags, I think it would have been more important to be told that the restaurant entrance differs between evening and morning.

    The Room is clean, simple, and nice.

    The Room had a lovely modern, sophisticated feel. The separate pajama set was very comfortable. If I had to say one thing, it would have been nice if toothbrushes were provided in the Room. The Hotel staff were friendly and attentive with great service, and both check-in and check-out were smooth and excellent.

    Excellent location

    The location is unbeatable! It’s right across from Tokyo Skytree, and just a quick elevator ride up from Oshiage Station Exit B3. There’s also a Life supermarket next door, which makes shopping very convenient. We stayed in a 37 m² Room this time, and it was spacious and very comfortable. The bed firmness was just right, and if the pillow doesn’t suit you, you can request an extra one (the staff kindly asked whether we preferred a softer or firmer option). The service was excellent as well—the front desk staff were polite and professional, and communication in English was smooth. They also brought our luggage (which we had sent ahead from another Hotel) to the Room before check-in, which was very helpful. Housekeeping was generally thorough, but there was a small mistake: two bottles of shampoo were provided, while the body soap hadn’t been replenished. We contacted the front desk during our stay and they brought it to us promptly. Other than that, everything was perfect and we were very satisfied with our stay. We’d love to stay again.

    Used for an overnight stay before a flight from Narita Airport.

    Right in front of Oshiage Station, with a supermarket next door—excellent convenience. The Room was clean, and the bath was spacious and very relaxing.

    A clean, relaxing space and wonderful staff

    I was able to relax during my business trip stay for the first time in a while. I arrived late at night and had to check out early in the morning, so it felt like a shame not to have more time. The staff service is also a level above. I will definitely stay again.

    It was great.

    Both check-in and check-out were smooth. The Room was spacious and clean, and I’d love to stay again! Tokyo Skytree was right in front of us, so we could shop, stay overnight, and shop again. There’s also a supermarket next door, which is very convenient.

    What a shame.

    The food I ordered at breakfast never arrived, so I ended up not being able to eat it. Unacceptable. After checkout, I had my luggage shipped home from the Hotel. Even though it was essentially the same size as the luggage I had shipped from home to the Hotel, they charged me nearly 1,000 yen more without properly measuring it (even if it was a different carrier). When I called after returning home to confirm, the phone response was not what you would expect from a Hotel. It felt like they might keep any difference if the carrier measured it and found that the correct fee should have been lower than what I paid. That’s how their attitude came across on the phone. I stay at various hotels in Tokyo, but I never want to stay at this Hotel again. Hotel prices are rising everywhere, but I expect service that matches the price. I stayed here when this Hotel first opened and was very satisfied then, but now it is not a Hotel I can be satisfied with. I hope they will work to provide customer service like before.

    I had a very comfortable stay.

    I stayed in a spa and sauna Room. The Hotel itself was very clean—perfect. I was surprised that the bedroom and the sauna/spa Room were separate, but since it’s a Hotel in central Tokyo, I understood that this setup is probably necessary to improve flexibility and occupancy. Because of the extreme heat, the cold bath water was lukewarm, but the staff kindly brought ice to my Room many times, which made my stay very comfortable. I had a truly pleasant stay. I’m very grateful. Of course, I will definitely return.

    Enjoy the SPA Room

    This was my first visit, and I made a Reservation for the SPA Room & Double Room. To sum it up, the SPA was truly amazing! Having a sauna and bath available whenever I wanted was wonderful. The SPA was kept very clean, and even as a sauna beginner I could relax and feel refreshed. The Room had everything I needed. For a one-night stay focused mainly on the sauna, this Double Room felt more than sufficient. I didn’t add meals, but I also used the shared lounge. I appreciated the free drinks (including alcohol), though it can be a downside that it fills up quickly with Reservations. Access is excellent since it’s almost directly connected to Oshiage Station. It’s convenient not only for Tokyo Skytree but also for sightseeing in Asakusa—I'd love to come back again to unwind!

    Hotel with Sauna

    Just a 1-minute walk from Oshiage Station, we stayed with three adults and one grandchild. The Room was over 70 m² and came with a sauna; the hinoki bath and cold plunge were also amazing and felt incredible. Unlimited snacks and ice cream were available in the shared lounge. Beer was also all-you-can-drink, but unfortunately I couldn’t drink it. The Room was calm and comfortable, the price was affordable, and we were very satisfied. We couldn’t see Tokyo Skytree from the Room, but we had dinner on the 31st floor of the building across the street, where we enjoyed an incredible night view of Tokyo Skytree. We would definitely like to come again.

    At breakfast

    I wasn’t used to having to present a breakfast ticket, so I tried to enter the breakfast venue by showing my Room card like at other Hotels. However, at reception I was told to go and pick up the breakfast ticket and was not allowed in. This was the first time I’ve ever been treated that way. I had to go back to my Room again, got the ticket, and was able to have breakfast, but honestly it left me feeling disappointed. The Room and the staff service were otherwise great, so this was the only letdown.

    I stayed in Superior...

    I stayed in Superior Twin Room B. The Room was spacious, with a bathroom that included a washing area, and the vanity had double sinks, which was excellent. Unfortunately, I noticed an unpleasant odor in the Room (it smelled like the toilet). In addition, the sofa and chair upholstery were stained, so I felt uncomfortable and couldn’t sit on them. Breakfast offered plenty of variety and generous portions, but it was disappointing that there were no Japanese-style options.

    I felt a little sad.

    Thank you to the female staff member who kindly assisted me at check-in, and to the male staff member who saw me off with a smile at check-out. The Room was also clean. The only issue was the breakfast buffet. On the morning of June 17, the staff member at reception guided me to my seat and then, without any explanation, asked, “How many slices of cheese toast would you like?” I replied, “Two slices, please.” I ate other items while waiting, but it never arrived for a long time. I am Japanese. The guests on both sides of me were Chinese, and the table in front of me was a White family. Every time the White guests spoke, the nearby Chinese guests reacted and looked toward them. I assume they were speaking negatively about them. And then there was my cheese toast issue: even after waiting more than 30 minutes it still didn’t come. When the White guest in front of me ordered, that same male staff member brought it immediately—yet he didn’t even look my way… Given the situation, I couldn’t help wondering if it was intentional. When I told a female staff member that my cheese toast hadn’t arrived, she handled it politely and had it brought right away. Since so much time had passed and I was already full, I asked to change from two slices to one slice. That made me sad. I don’t know whether that male staff member is simply not good at his job or if he is discriminatory toward women or certain races… Maybe I’m overthinking it. To everyone except that male staff member: thank you very much. Everything else was perfect aside from him. The curry was not refilled either (it’s fine not to include this). It’s disappointing because other staff members do their jobs well; one malicious person can hold everyone back.

    I came into central Tokyo from out of town for an errand. Personally, I’d always considered this a top-tier Hotel, but I happened to find an affordable Plan and stayed here for the first time. As expected, it was excellent. The staff around the front desk were courteous yet efficient and precise. The Room was extremely clean—so much so that I’d happily stay long-term. With the Skytree, one of the world’s leading tourist attractions, nearby along with the traditional downtown atmosphere, great access to public transportation, and even a supermarket in the same building, there’s really nothing to complain about overall. 　I considered adding the Hotel breakfast separately, but unfortunately decided against it this time due to the pricing. Next time, I’d definitely like to try it along with my stay. Thank you very much for everything.

    A must for sauna lovers

    Although I live in Tokyo, for about the past 10 years I’ve enjoyed visiting Hotels in central Tokyo or around Maihama about once a month. Since COVID, lounge access has become available at more affordable rates if you plan a bit, and thanks to support from Ikkyu.com, I’ve been looking forward to trying different lounges. This time I happened to find Richmond Hotel Premier Tokyo Schole with private sauna “Yuya” and lounge access, and it was excellent. The staff at the Hotel front desk and in the shared lounge worked seamlessly together, and their courteous service was outstanding. They were very kind to international guests as well as older guests like me, and it felt like warm, home-like hospitality. The private sauna was also wonderful—plenty of towels and drinks were provided, and everything felt thoughtfully taken care of. I go to my sports club sauna every day, but this sauna experience may become addictive. It was also my first time using a shared lounge, and I thought it was a great concept. I’m sure more people will be using it going forward. The building was very clean and well maintained, with beautiful flower arrangements as well. Thank you for a wonderful day off.

    Sauna

    The private sauna is excellent and highly recommended. The in-Room drinks selection is also well stocked. There is a Life supermarket downstairs, which is very convenient. The TSUTAYA Share Lounge was also great. We will stay again. However, it was disappointing that there were not many types of bread at breakfast. It didn’t feel like good value for the price.

    Attending a live concert

    The amenities, lounge, Room, and breakfast were all very comfortable. Even though it was a weekend, I was lucky to stay at a great price. Right in front of Oshiage Station and directly across from Tokyo Skytree, with a Life supermarket on the first floor open until midnight. It’s also very convenient—no transfers to the airport and about 30 minutes to the Dome. Since I booked a Multiple Night Stay Plan with breakfast included, it was a bit disappointing that the fruit, side dishes, bread, etc. were exactly the same every day—but the taste was satisfying. You can also use the breakfast voucher for room service, so in hindsight I could have ordered a burger or shrimp instead. I had so many plans that I didn’t get to enjoy much time at the Hotel, but next time I’d like to relax and enjoy my stay more. Thank you for your hospitality.

    Everything was good except for breakfast.

    My friend and I booked a Room with breakfast and lounge access. The staff who assisted us at arrival explained everything politely, and we were happy to be able to enter our Room early. We also enjoyed using the lounge many times and were very satisfied overall, but the breakfast the next day was disappointing in taste except for the vegetables and fruit. My friend took oysters, bacon, and beef, but said they were all dried out and impossible to swallow. After hearing that, I only had soup and cola. It was disappointing enough to make me wonder whether the head chef is properly checking the food quality.

    It became a wonderful memory from my trip with my daughter!

    The staff were very friendly and provided pleasant, welcoming service. I usually do a 15-hour fast and don’t eat breakfast, but when I do, I choose food that’s both delicious and good for my body. The breakfast here used plenty of vegetables, and the protein dishes were also excellent. It was a truly wonderful and happy breakfast. There was also a great variety of drinks, which I enjoyed. The desserts came in many options too—perfect for children and women to enjoy. The pudding was especially delicious. It turned into a fantastic trip. Thank you very much!

    Because the Tokyo Skytree is just steps away, I have stayed at this Hotel several times when traveling to Tokyo. The meals are delicious, and the beds are comfortable. I would love to stay again in a few years.

    Stay in a Double Room with a Private Sauna Room

    The private sauna Room was kept very clean and felt cozy—an exceptionally luxurious space. The front desk staff guided us there, provided a thorough explanation, and shared important precautions, so we could use it safely and with peace of mind. The Double Room near the sauna Room was also stylish, simple, and spotless. We used the sauna Room twice at a relaxed pace. The French-made reclining chair was excellent, and we received two complimentary drinks each, which helped us unwind. The sauna Room was amazing. Since the TSUTAYA Share Lounge Plan included alcohol, we enjoyed drinks along with a variety of snacks—this was also very satisfying. We could see Tokyo Skytree as well. We used it a total of three times. The front desk team’s service was outstanding, making our stay truly wonderful. We would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

    Overall, I was satisfied.

    We stayed here for a small anniversary trip as a short getaway with my wife. I made the Reservation on IKYU one week before check-in. Two days before check-in, I received an email from the Hotel saying, “If you would like any optional add-ons (available at an additional charge), please contact us at least three days prior to check-in.” Although that deadline had already passed, I replied asking if it might still be possible to order a cake. They said purchasing the cake would be fine, but after that we continued exchanging emails until the morning of our stay about things like: - Around what time it would be delivered to the Room (Through our emails, we learned it would be difficult to have it placed in the Room in advance.) - Whether payment should be made at check-in or check-out and so on. (It was almost comical.) Regarding payment, I had answered “at check-out,” and the Hotel also confirmed this by email. However, at check-in I was asked again, “Would you like to pay now?” The female staff member who assisted us at check-in was polite, but (perhaps only this time) I felt there may have been some issues with internal information sharing. By the way, the cake was much larger than I expected—I was genuinely surprised. (I was very happy about it, but honestly it was quite a challenge for just two of us to finish.) That said, these were minor points overall, and my satisfaction outweighed them. In particular, using IKYU Points made this stay extremely good value for money. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious as well, so I’m glad we stayed here and would like to visit again. One final note: regarding the young male staff member at checkout—when saying “Thank you,” he should at least face the guest. Keeping his eyes on his tablet without looking up left a poor impression. If improved, I believe guests could enjoy their stay comfortably right through to the end.

    Conveniently located with excellent transport access and a comfortable stay.

    I stayed in the Stambard Book Room. The selection of books was excellent, and there were so many that I couldn’t finish them all during my stay—I’ll pick up where I left off next time. The Room also had a Yogibo, and placing it on the bed to relax while reading was pure bliss. My Plan included access to the shared lounge on the front desk floor, where alcohol, juices, snacks, and more were available free of charge. I enjoyed a drink there and had a very relaxing time. I’d love to stay again.

    Spacious and mostly satisfactory

    The Room, bathroom, and toilet are quite spacious and comfortable. It’s a pity the window faces west. I would have liked hair styling products and a trouser press.
