    Polite and prompt service.

    I realized I had left something in the Room and called immediately. The staff responded promptly, and the item arrived the next day with careful packaging and a list of contents. It was very helpful. The staff who answered the phone were also kind, which I greatly appreciated.

    The breakfast and amenities were exceptional.

    The environment is good, and the amenities and breakfast are very satisfying. I was particularly impressed that the Starbucks coffee in the Room was the same as that in a Hotel in Paris, France.

    The promotional materials placed might be a bit tiring, perhaps.

    It was a rare opportunity to stay in such a prime location in the heart of Kyoto's bustling downtown. The surrounding shops are very well-equipped, and it's a fun place Hotel. However, the cups in the room are paper? It's a bit disappointing like a paper cup. The promotional materials are also quite political, which can be tiring.

    It was under construction, but

    The hotel parking was unavailable due to construction, but there was a 24-hour parking lot right next door, so there was no inconvenience, and the noise was not much of a concern. We were given a corner room, so we were satisfied with the view of Shijo Street directly below and the distant Kyoto Tower to the northwest. However, the table was in front of the TV, so it might be better to swap it with the built-in refrigerator next to it, as it obstructed the TV when reading. The location is excellent, so I would like to visit again for sightseeing. Thank you very much.

    The accommodation rate for this day is approximately 22,000 yen. An additional 2,000 yen for parking. I was considering Hotel Okura, which offers free parking for about 30,000 yen, but since I had plans in Gion, I chose this property for its location. The desk is covered in dust. There is hair on the bathroom wall. There is body hair on the remote control of the washlet. A grand spider web is on the ceiling, and at night, the room's resident spider strolls across the wall. Since Halloween is coming soon, I thought maybe it's designed that way, so I decided not to worry about it (laughs).

    Inadequate renovation of the old hotel.

    The room's air conditioner stops when you're out, so it's hot right after returning. The smell of the shower curtain doesn't go away. The air conditioner's temperature control is poor, and the wind hits my face directly, so I turned it off to sleep. It's not a room worth paying over 22,000 for. It's disappointing.
