    Reuniting with a friend after more than a decade

    It was my first time back in Ube City in a very long while, and the town has completely changed, but I was truly moved that the Hotel was still there just as before. The building is understandably old, but in return, the staff’s kind service and the wide variety and abundance at breakfast were wonderful. (I was happy to see kawara soba again—it brought back memories.) I met my friend at the restaurant next door, and I was glad to receive a discount as a guest privilege. Thank you for taking care of me.

    The tofu served at breakfast was delicious.

    The tofu and fish at breakfast were delicious. The coffee service was also great. It would be even better if there were Rooms with a separate washing area.

    It couldn’t be helped, but it was noisy.

    Children’s voices in the hallway echoed easily, and noise from the neighboring Room was quite audible. On top of that, voices from people hanging out until late at night at the memorial hall across the street also carried into the Room. This seems unavoidable due to the building structure and surrounding environment. Aside from the noise, it was comfortable. The unit bath is relatively spacious and easy to use, and you can get coffee and a full range of amenities at the front desk.

    Delightful Breakfast

    Breakfast features Yamaguchi's local cuisine, offering high quality and great satisfaction. With dishes like kawara soba and homemade tofu, the pricing feels almost too good to be true. The building shows its age but is well-maintained and clean.

    A precious international Hotel in Ube City

    It had been a while since I last stayed, but the Chapel Twin Room was very spacious and comfortable. The furniture is carefully selected, allowing you to enjoy a European atmosphere. The bathroom features a spacious jet bath where you can relax at your leisure. Although the property seems to be undergoing renovations and feels slightly dated, it was impeccably clean, so there were no issues at all. Guests can enjoy complimentary coffee in the lobby, which can also be taken back to your room for convenience. Additionally, breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes from Yamaguchi-san (Yamaguchi), which were very delicious. I will definitely stay here again.

    A calm and quiet Hotel

    It was conveniently located at a moderate distance from Ube-Shinkawa Station, allowing for a quiet and relaxing stay. The Room was clean and there was nothing inconvenient. I wished there were a few more breakfast options, but considering the price, it seemed reasonable. I would like to use it again next time.
