  The mattress was tor...

  The mattress was torn and in poor condition. Additionally, it had a large amount of hair and body hair, which was unpleasant. It was the first time I encountered a mattress that wasn't properly cleaned. It felt as though the idea might be that it's fine as long as it's covered by sheets.
