  Parking available...

  We arrived slightly later than planned, around 4:30 PM, and found the parking lot was full. The first affiliated parking lot we were directed to was also full, but we managed to park at the next one we were guided to. While it’s understandable that parking is essential even in non-urban areas, this left a slightly disappointing impression. However, we were relieved to find a spot even though it was a bit farther away. The next day during checkout, it was raining, and we appreciated being able to borrow an umbrella from the front desk. Thanks to this thoughtful gesture, we could walk back to the parking lot without getting wet. The Room itself was very comfortable and made for an enjoyable stay. One minor issue was with the toilet seat heater—it wasn’t clear that contacting the front desk was necessary for it to warm up. As a result, I initially used it cold before realizing I should have called earlier; perhaps there were instructions somewhere that I missed. Overall though, our experience here was very good!

  The East Wing is new, and both the Rooms and the large public bath are clean and well-maintained! However,

  It was very crowded, likely because it was Saturday, and I felt rushed during self-check-in. I couldn't Earn Points on my APA Hotel card, and when I asked at the front desk the next morning, they told me it had to be done by midnight. The front desk was busy no matter what time I went the day before. I hope they can increase the number of staff to handle guests better. The Room was also extremely small, leaving me feeling like there was hardly any space to move around!

  I used it for the first time.

  I used APA Hotel for the first time. The location right in front of the station was excellent for access, and I had a comfortable stay. I will use it again when there is a live event in Niigata.
