    The Room and bathroom are spacious.

    This was my second stay. The Room is spacious and easy to use. The bathroom has a large bathtub, so you can relax comfortably. The bathroom door is a sliding door, so when you’re not using the bathroom you can leave it open, making the Room feel even more spacious. However, I was disappointed that there were no sheer curtains on the window. I worked at the desk by the window, but with the blackout curtains closed it was too dark, there was no desk lamp, and if I opened the curtains the Room was fully visible from the building across the street—so it wasn’t very suitable for work. Even when sleeping, I’d like to leave the blackout curtains slightly open to let in natural morning light, but without sheer curtains I hesitated to do so. Overall, it’s close to the station and there’s a convenience store nearby as well, so I think it’s a very convenient Hotel.

    A convenient Hotel that’s easy to use.

    It feels like the Rooms of an older Hotel have been renovated. The sink area, toilet, and bath have flooring, and everything felt clean, spacious, and comfortable. The Room itself wasn’t small either, so it was easy to relax. The only thing that felt old was the Room key—it really seems unchanged from years ago. Personally, I liked that. These days many Hotels require you to tap a card key just to use the elevator for security, but having to take out your key before even getting on the elevator doesn’t feel very guest-friendly to me. This Hotel lets you use the elevator without that hassle. That said, small details reduce the upscale feel: there was no mineral water in the fridge; there was tea in the Room but no complimentary drip coffee; and a large drink vending machine in the elevator hall felt out of place and hurt the atmosphere. Since it was 17,000 yen per night, I couldn’t help thinking, “For this price?” It’s close to the station and very convenient and easy to use, but I wished for an atmosphere that better matched the price.

    Close to the station with decent facilities for the price. The Room was clean, but the highlight, the bath, was disappointing. The drain was clogged, causing water to overflow. I managed to use it by running the water for 2 minutes and waiting 3 minutes for it to drain.

    Excellent Access

    Within walking distance from Hakata Station and with easy access to Tenjin via the nearby bus stop, this accommodation offers a very convenient location for exploring Hakata. While the building is older, the rooms are clean and well-maintained. The flooring in the rooms and bathrooms is not carpeted but wooden, adding to the sense of cleanliness. Overall, this is a cost-effective accommodation, and I would consider staying here again when visiting Fukuoka.

    The bed is too firm.

    The bed was very hard, feeling like sleeping on a board. Other than that, I think the facilities are sufficient considering the accommodation cost.

    Great value for the quality of the facilities.

    Close to the station and reasonably priced, the Hotel may feel a bit old-fashioned with traditional keys and hallways that give off a vintage vibe. However, once you enter the Room, you'll be pleased with the spacious bed and excellent bathroom facilities. The sink area is large, the bathtub is roomy, and the tiled walls add to a high level of satisfaction in the bathroom. Most of the front desk staff are foreigners, but they provide good service, such as lending sewing kits when needed.
