    As expected of Dormy Inn

    As expected of Dormy Inn, the services are excellent for the price. However, if you plan to have dinner out, we recommend making a Reservation at nearby restaurants. There are only a few options, and the good ones fill up quickly—though they can be a bit pricey.

    A Business Hotel is fine.

    Many international guests stay here as well. There is a multi-story parking garage and several surface parking spaces around the building, but it can get crowded and entering or exiting may take time. It is sufficient for a solo stay as a Business Hotel.

    Thank you for your continued support each year.

    I stay here once a year when visiting for the marathon event. This time as well, I enjoyed the spacious and clean Room, and used the large public bath on the top floor both in the morning and evening, making my stay very comfortable. If I visit Wakkanai again in the future, I hope to stay here again. Thank you very much!

    Seafood Bowl for Breakfast

    Conveniently located near Wakkanai Station and the bus terminal. The "Yonaki Soba" was consistently delicious with a nostalgic taste. Having a Dormy Inn at travel destinations always brings peace of mind. Being able to enjoy a seafood bowl in the morning was delightful. All the toppings were tasty, though the salmon was slightly watery and less appealing. Other side dishes and small plates were plentiful and delicious as well. Thank you for the thoughtful touch of jelly placed in the refrigerator. The large public bath was quiet, allowing for a relaxing, almost private experience. One concern: The sliding door in my Room had come off its track and could not be immediately fixed. While it didn’t affect air conditioning or functionality since it could still close, there was some visible damage at the bottom that might have been noticed by cleaning staff beforehand? When I informed reception, they offered to move me to another Room of similar size; however, as it would involve packing up my belongings again with a change in view, I decided to stay in the same Room instead. Prompt repairs would ensure future guests can enjoy their stay comfortably. Wakkanai is heading into its cold winter season—please take care of yourselves! Thank you for your hospitality!

    Frequently used during sightseeing trips without meal plans. In Wakkanai, the Room was new and featured a type where the entrance side and bed side were separated by a door, allowing for relaxation. The open-air bath in the large public bath was also excellent. You can use it with peace of mind.

    Old and dirty

    The rooms here are not only small but also old and not very clean. The bath was dirty, which was disappointing. This was the only option available, but if I visit Wakkanai again, I wouldn't stay here.

    Renovated

    Recently renovated and beautifully updated. The bathroom facilities, especially the sink area, were clean and well-maintained. The rooftop open-air bath also offers a great atmosphere.

    Stable.

    Used as a base for a day trip hiking on Rebun Island. Dormy Inn is consistently reliable everywhere. While some locations in rural areas may appear older, this one had clean Rooms and baths, and I was especially surprised by the auto löyly sauna. It seems to have been renovated at the end of last year. The weather wasn't great this time, but I look forward to visiting Rebun Island again on a sunny day. I'll likely stay here again when that happens.

    The room was spacious and comfortable.

    Stayed for 2 nights with my wife in a twin room, and the room was spacious enough with comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet was not extravagant but satisfying. There is a complimentary "night soba" (ramen) service for guests, but dinner needs to be arranged outside or secured in advance. The large public bath kept me warm without feeling chilled, which was especially appreciated during the cold season (free ice cream is offered after bathing). Would love to stay again!

    Convenient location and comfortable Facility

    There are many restaurants nearby, and the Room was clean and comfortable. The large public bath was also nice. Since the Hotel's parking lot was full, I was directed to a municipal parking lot, but when I got there, I found a sign saying it was unavailable during the winter season. It was disappointing to have to check multiple times. It would also be great if there were vending machines for alcoholic beverages inside the Hotel.

    I had another comfortable stay.

    I used it for a pre-stay before participating in the marathon event. The Room was clean, and the rooftop bath was comfortable. I also had the night soba, which was a good portion for eating at night and had a light taste that suited my preference. It was great. If I decide to participate in the marathon event next year, I would like to stay again. Thank you very much.
